It's my absolute favorite dress from this series. It looks good on everyone; it's been chosen multiple times and I've never seen a bride who didn't think it looked terrific even if it wasn't their final choice. I wish I could buy one for myself. It's stunning.

I am now married since July 2022 but Imma tell you, I was BINGING this show when it came down to me choosing my dress. I tried on several bleach white lace top dresses but only when I was getting desperate, I laid my eyes on a blush dress. It looked VERY white in all the photos but it was a very nice rose/blush off-white that complimented my Nordic skin tone perfectly 😍 Don't be afraid to be adventurous and "stray" from the bleach white!
Zoey is a sweetest girl. When I went to look for my wedding dress I knew I wanted a Southern bell. I knew it when I seen it and everybody loved it Including me.
It is the biggest decision on any garment they'll wear. The biggest shopping decision. Biggest life decision? No. But it's still very important for many brides .
I know many brides that say this about their wedding dress or anything regarding their wedding. They know it really isn't the biggest or most important decision they have made or will make but some look at a wedding dress as one of those purchases that are pricey and only does once so it is important that it is 100% "it". Also many get told that the dress is what people will remember most so get it right.
"The biggest decision I'll ever make?" Not hardly. Whether to have a child, what house or even what car to buy, accepting a new job, all are much bigger decisions. I do think Jo and Al are the most supportive women in retail on earth. Both ladies ended up with lovely dresses.
I'm always so surprised at how many brides show up for dress shopping without make-up on or their hair done up. It makes all the difference when trying on a bride dress to look your best because you will at your wedding so it will help you envision yourself on that day. I just love Jo and Al and if I were getting married as a size 20, I might just fly to England just for the dress. I sure wouldn't go to Kleinfeld's with that huge open room with all those skinny brides and ask for a size 20!
It's so sad when people don't think they look up to the standards of society in the beauty aspect. The women I have seen on this show seem so lovely. Being a nice, kind person is beautiful in itself. They are all beautiful. We all struggle with our weight our facial features etc. , it's a woman thing and can't be explained. Maybe someday we will accept ourselves, maybe someday it will be easier, maybe someday it won't matter. I know tiny women who think they are overweight. It's a stigmatized train of thought. I understand that obesity is not healthy but too many people don't understand how easy it is to lose track of your health do to life's circumstances. These women don't make excuses they just want to look beautiful on their wedding day. Apparently they have found wonderful men. No one who is trying to improve their health should be made to feel inadequate because of their size. It's a long road. If you do criticize then thank God you don't have to travel it.
I watch this all the time, and I get so very, very sad! Just look at the first bride, Zoe! How cute and beautiful can a woman be? And still, she does not see it, she just feels like a failure in the eyes of the world! Even though we KNOW that we just dont get to choose our sizes, so much shame and guilt and heart breaking lack of confidence goes with being bigger than most others. Why? Why? Its so unfair!
