It is so sad to see people cry over their weight. It should NOT be a thing. I just wish human beings would let others live and let live. The world would be such a better place. These ladies are wonderful.

When I first saw Kerry, I was awed by her delicate strawberries-and-cream skin, porcelain blue eyes and soft auburn-toned hair... beauty traits I so wish I’d been born with!
I truly hope these insecure brides shift their perspective and come to enjoy their assets rather than fearing being judged. Like me, most people are drawn to beauty and seek it out in others. Rather than picking apart someone else’s looks, people tend to focus on the features they like best - especially when that person’s company is pleasurable.
A good analogy is when walking in the park in springtime, you’ll find everyone admiring the tulips and photographing the flowering trees. There are rocks on the ground and bark on the trees🌳🌳🌳 ....but nobody notices. 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
As someone who was overweight, I struggle with my body image & my self confidence/esteem. I was bullied my whole life about my weight & was constantly called ugly & disgusting. It’s battle I fight silently & not everyone understands. It’s hard to see yourself for the beautiful person you are when you focus on your insecurities & self doubt. Just remember, you are beautiful. Your husbands chose you for a reason ❤ they look stunning ✨

Sometimes, the brides seem to forget that they have someone who loves them more than anyone else, plus family.
More than many. More than many of the bullies in their past.
In the great scheme of things, they ARE winning.
So many seem to feel they are never good enough. And they seem to find lovely men.
I wish that was pointed out to them.
Many who told them they were not good enough, picked equally shallow men, aren't secure, aren't happy and may never find someone they can trust.
I don't understand why they are not very aware of what they do have, and are much more confident.

I myself have a really "stocky and square" build, and a bit overweight. When I walked into a wedding dress shop that I had had my eyes on for a while, I was afraid I would never find a dress my size. Luckily the shop assistants were very discrete when it came to dress sizes, they never told me the size in numbers, just said "this is probably a little bit more comfortable" or "just a smidge larger than the other one you liked". Larger brides can feel really intimidated so I'm really happy these two found their perfect dresses.

I saw a picture of Allison last month and she has lost too much weight, in my opinion. She’s still beautiful but her face is so gaunt and she is boney. She is no longer involved in the dress shop.

watching these programs have me asking why do the brides always have their hair covering the top part of the dress while trying it on? what is the point?
I get it. As a big girl I get hiding behind your hair, so you can feel more feminine esp since they are doing something out of their comfort zone. Also you don't have to wear your hair up to get married. It's also probably to show what it looks like as is. I think the consultants know exactly what they're doing, it's smart.

Does this bride think she might have lipedema? Does she know what it is? Do the do the owners of the wedding dress shop know what it is? This would be a great place for women to start their journey to discover this genetic lipid disorder. I'm sure this lovely Greek bride has it the fact she said she never looses weight from her arms. The arms especially the upper arms, thick legs and lower torso can all be affected with this fibrotic lipid disorder. Because this is a + size shop, there will be a large number/percentage of these lovely women will have it. Around 11% of women have it and don't even know that this is what their fighting.

I never heard of weight loss in "stone." Each stone is equivalent to about 14 lbs.

Being heavy doesn’t make you a awful person. But it does make me more unhealthy. Food is like a drug to me. I don’t smoke. Drink or do drugs. But it is hard to pass up food. The dress looks good on her.
The bride looked stunning! I'm puzzled that they said vows in the ceremony - in an Orthodox wedding the couple says nothing. Instead all the blessings and joining together is done in the form of prayers offered by the priest. Was this something that was filmed to make it more familiar for the majority of viewers? It would have been more respectful of Orthodox tradition to have instead shown the crowning or the sharing of the common cup instead of inserting something outside our tradition.
I was puzzled that when they said those vows, they weren’t looking at each other. Like who were they talking to? 😂 Seems like they may have mixed the ceremony up, perhaps he is not Greek but wanted to say vows.
Anyone of any size can feel unattractive because of the size of all or some areas, I don’t feel attractive at size 18-20, only at size 12 was I ok enough with my body, however never with my upper arms and not with my thick legs from ankles to thighs. Even when at size 12 I don’t feel attractive because of my very fair skin, and I have size 10 feet. I have chubby hands and my
Stomach isn’t flat or defined and my boobs are alittle saggy from breastfeeding days. At any size I hate my curly hair and the dark circles under my eyes and the mole on my eyebrow and I even don’t like my vagina!! But I really really believed like when dressed nicely for my body - even without makeup til 35 I was gorgeous
And now I’ve put on weight and not size 12, and aged abit more, and suffering hair loss , I am really really needing to shake myself and demand I make a change because I really understand the pain these women feel as plus size myself and this show is speaking to others too that need help to feel beautiful before they can get healthier by their choice not other’s opinions when they are ready. Pray I lose 30kg I just have to stop eating so much and so badly and focus at every
Single day and meal. 1200 calories per day for 7 months is my goal. I’ll be 7 mths later either way I have to get thru 7 mths of life and I’d rather congratulate myself then than eat the same and be the same in 7 mths. Xmas is the goal for my happiness
