I had Delica as well, but I had to sold it. It was to expensive for me on mpg, but it was best car I ever had. We sleep inside 2 adults, 2 kids and two dogs couple weeks ago.

Я сколько смотрю путешествия на бусах. Все везде по теплу передвигаются. В России блин в основном холодно)) то редуктора вырвет, то шланги оборвет и т.д. А так по жаре че бы не поездить))

Oi Cleuder! Ainda estamos aqui, bem pertinho do vulcão, na verdade. Dá pra vê-lo da nossa janela, a 5 km de distância! Fora as cinzas cobrindo os carros e as casas, nada demais. Foi uma tragédia, mas por aqui todos parecem estar acostumados com esse vulcão já que ele é um dos mais ativos do planeta! Perguntamos e nos falaram pra não nos preocuparmos, então aqui estamos! hauhauah

That was amazing!!!! Love all the action shots! I'm sure you get the same reaction we do when you bring your van onto trails that people think "theres no way they'll make it" and then they're shocked when you do. We get that all the time! Absolutely loved the video guys!
You can't beat that dropped jaw when the Delica makes it up that hill all others are struggling to climb hehehe Or pulling the Land Rover out of the bog! So many moments I wish we had filmed lol
Overland Way when we were climbing the face of Engineer Pass there were people looking at us like we were crazy!! Our Truck made it without even breaking a sweat. Its a great feeling to amaze people with its performance lol

Such a tough call to go with a smaller 4x4 rig or a 2-wheel drive rig that allows more living space. If you had eight or nine inches of ground clearance and all terrain tires on a front wheel drive RAM ProMaster, what percentage of places do you think you would have missed out on because you didn't have four-wheel drive? I hope you're both well!

What tires have you used and what can you say about it?

Hi mate! We use 31x10.5 R15 tires, and for the first half of our trip we had Kumho KL78s. They were brilliant. Many say they are shit but we had no issues at all after 70,000 km of everything you can imagine. Great grip, great value. Then we changed to Atturo Trail Blazers in the USA, also great tires. Definitely a little less offroad looking, but great performance still. The only complaint we have with those is that their design seems to catch all pebbles along the way and once you get back to the pavement you will be hearing stones shooting of your tires for many minutes. Both great option for those who don't wanna pay for BF Goodrich or more expensive tires... we didn't regret at all. I hope this helps! Cheers!

how sketchy were things having all that gear on the roof plus the lift kit? i bet that made the things pretty tippy with such a high center of gravity
It does make the ride a lot more top heavy but since we got air bags installed to the rear we feel a lot more comfortable. There is no miracle though!! It's a narrow 2.5 m high van lol Cheers

Do the 3 litre petrol crack heads like the 2.8 turbo diesel models? How thirsty are the 3 litres as well?
The petrol seem to be a little more reliable. Having said that we never had any issues. I can't comment on the consumption for the petrol :(
now i'm jealous that i have 2wd spacegear. maybe atleast i got a better diesel mileage.
