He's a pretty good sport. He's there as someone they can take the piss out of and he handles it graciously.
He’s alright for a toff.
@@therickpound , "tiff"? Do you mean "toff"? I've heard that but not the other.
wunnell I concur..lol
I heard one of the other comedians (Aisling I think?) on a podcast saying those reality stars are great on shows like this because they improvise conversation all the time
@Slave2PaperWithInkOn , yeah, because English panel shows are so notoriously pro right wing.
He has no filter, but he's endearing so I like him
I didn’t expect him to be this funny 😂
Me too. Surprisingly funny. I'm checking out all his panel appearances right now
I always like it when non-comedians fare decently in environments with comedians. The best at that imo was Jamelia
@Ddhfacetyy if you think he is intelligent and funny...that says alot about you.
@@Catatonic-Spike enjoy your shite comedy. YYYYYAAAAAAWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNN
That’s cause he wasn’t that funny, people were funny AROUND him & while making jokes about him 😂😂😂
Any of Jamie’s stories that have the words “my friend” at the start is just chaos
And they’re all probably really about him
For someone who is constantly picked on Jamie is so very gracious and good-natured. Plus, he's so cute!
+
Everyone has a pre-conceived idea of who Jamie Laing is, and what he is like, and I was one of them until I watched the Channel Four series where celebrities became police officers for a couple of weeks. Totally turned my opinion of him around, he is a top bloke, very caring, no ego, emotionally very intelligent, and a very hard worker. As well as being funny and rich... Life really isn't fair lmao.
Do you remember the name of the series?
@@gigaleader Sure, it was called, Famous and Fighting Crime, its available on All4 but I think you have to be in the UK. Not sure where you are from, but here is the link: www.channel4.com/programmes/famous-and-fighting-crime
Thanks!
I'm actually not in the UK, but I'm resourceful enough so I think I'll still be able to watch it. :)
@@gigaleader Aw brilliant, I really hope you do, its worth a watch. :)
@@jaynehayward6861 thank you, will watch it now
You kind of want to hate him... But he's just so endearing.
What makes you want to hate him? The fact that he’s born into a successful family?
@@tabb5818 exactly the lucky prick
@@tabb5818 overwhelming privilege and the fact that he'll never need to work in his life
Jake Needham yet he does work... Hating on someone for what they’re born into is weird to me sorry. Be that positive or negative.
Tbezza I don’t hate him, I was just explaining why someone might want to hate him. Frankly he seems like a pretty sound and down to earth guy to me.
Jamie Laing is so funny, I’m really surprised. And he is so open. Tbh I would love to have a chat with him. He got some killer stories too.
yeah he's someone who seems constantly aware of his privileged position and so is always trying to thwart the stereotypes associated with his class. Genuinely seems like a chill bloke to be mates with and a reyt laugh to have a drink with.
Jake Needham yeah I agree
he just like me
“We lived there because our parents hated us!”
such an ungrateful statement for someones whos received private education
mehrshad shahabi yeah I’m sure barely seeing your parents is something to be grateful for and not bad for you in any way.
@@bolt-strikes how do you know he didn't see his parents, most boarders go home every week
mehrshad shahabi once a week growing up still doesn’t exactly give the message your parents like you
@@bolt-strikes I don't if you've been to boarding school or not, but parents spending their hard-earned money to get their child a good education as well as giving them access to amazing sporting and other facilities and friends that last a lifelong is not an act of hate.
I feel kinda bad for Jamie sometimes cause he gets made fun of alot but he is a suprisingly funny person and is always a good sport during the banter.
And is handsome and intelligent
It seems like Jaime and Rob could be the next comedy bromance - like Sean Lock & Miles Jupp.
They seem to bounce off each other in the best way possible.
I like how he isn't afraid to tell embarrassing stories and make himself looks stupid.
He's a really good sport and a lot sharper than people would assume. Seems like a good bloke
If it hasn’t been done already then Rob and Jamie need to be a team on big fat quiz of the year
"Even a goodly cooked one, are you now in Dickens?"
Really😂😂😂
When he said "we lived there because our parents hated us" made me under stand rich people's actions
For us poor kids, when your parents hate you, it’s called being put in a chidren’s home!
12:55 "Don't call it a cockpit" that's class from Jimmy there
what was postman pat called after he retired? pat
genius.
Same with Bob the Builder. :)
Don't know why but fucking killed me
@Kieran 7177 dead joke
@@alfiepardoe3841 yes he is, unless it's all a huge conspiracy and Bin Laden is still alive somewhere, like maybe on the dark side of the moon, along with Elvis and Michael Jackson and Robin Williams and Marilyn Monroe and JFK and MLK Jr and a host of other ppl who ppl claim are still alive for some bizarre reason
@@alfiepardoe3841 thats the point
I, filthy foreigner that I am, only know him from compilations like this, and just from that he seems like a great guy, honest, humble and very entertaining to listen to!
5:36 “Before you go to Eton, you have to take a test to see if you’re....” “rich” 🤣🤣
hes genuienly one of my favourite guests on this show
This guy is actually properly interesting, and delightfully funny. I could listen to his stories all day.
rob and jamie’s friendship is goals ahah
genuinely didn't expect him to be that funny, and yet here I am crying laughing at his stories! 😂
I can’t lie that Jamie guy is a funny man. He actually makes me laugh and he is a great sport. He brings a little bit of life to the show! 👊💯
Some people went out of their way to show contempt for the guy. It was in their faces. But he is a chill, lovely bloke
I love how Jamie and Rob go well together. They look like kids.
This dude is hilarious, awesome story-teller.
Sara and Natasha(?)'s reaction at 12:37 is gold lol
Jamie has such a good sense of humour and a great story teller. 🤣
He reminds me of how tara palmer tomkinson used to do on shows like this, good for a laugh and interesting to see the weird otherside of wealth
Oh, I miss Tara now. She was so hilarious. I sometimes watch her compilation on Would I Lie to You?
I can’t stop thinking about Ann Marie clip throughout the video.
Who’s that?
@@jackdavids2723 dunno
😂 oh goodness now I have to go watch that clip.
Jamie Laing is a very funny guy.
He's underappreciated.
Watch, "Murder in successville.!!!"
The story about the date and the text message had me laughing so hard! 😂
Jamie laing tom allen and jack whitehall would be the poshest mashup, i dont know if tv sets are capable of that yet
Jamie is such a treasure
I love him omg I can’t breathe 😂😂😂😂
If we aren't giving disgusting drinks to Jamie then why is he here 😂 😂 😂
Underrated guest imo. Great sport and is quite funny.
My god he takes a beating so well! Brilliant television
Isn't he the "Anne Marie? Dunno" guy from WILTY?
Yep.
Yes! Very good memory you have!
YES ! And every one made fun of him but he was right !
The 'you're rich' jokes are too easy and kill the moments when he's telling good story or having a nice interaction
4:35 kills me every time
I have to agree with Jamie on the christmas dinner vs shephards pie, you must be crazy! Disagree with the driving though.
I was once asked what my final meal on death row would be. The important detail to note is if you don't specify it, they can get you whatever they like (apparently how it works in real life too, but I'm not sure about this). For example, just saying steak means they don't need to ask how to cook it, or even give it uncooked and you get nothing. Whilst everyone was going into detail about the specifics of their last meal, I just said "can I just get some jaffa cakes?". Sometimes you just want something simple.
We lived there because our parents hated us! I had no idea Jamie was so funny.
I like him.
I've seen things with him in where he seems like the worst person ever, cheating on girls, ppl hating on him and it seeming quite justifiable. And then I see this version of him and it's so hard to dislike him though lol.
Robs excitement is next level amazing
He's great, don't care, I like him !
I know they rip the piss out of him everytime, but Jamie does make me laugh. I think he's quite funny
5:09 This is the first I hear about bread sauce.
I've never had it either
Not missing out
I genuinely didn't expect him to be that funny
rob and jaimie are one of those duos who are polar opposites but you know they probably get on like mad outside the show (even inside tbf)
3:42 is the best line in the series.
9:57 Rob's reaction. Lol.
He’s hysterical. I love him on Lee Mack’s team on WILTY.
Jamie seems lovely, kind and very sweet.
'shepherds pie !' 🤣 love it
Jokes aside, I think he comes across as a nice fun guy
Rob and Jamie are trouble 🤣🤣🤣
I'd pay good money to watch Jamie and Rob tell stories and laugh.
I love Katherine so much, she's always fucking hysterical
He's like a better looking posh English version of Ninja and less obnoxious
Jamie is so funny. Rich spoiled and hilarious
Wait but who WAS drinking the disgusting drinks? Was it Jamie?
Yeah 😂 Katherine Ryan said in another clip of the game “if we are not giving the disgusting drinks to Jamie then why the fuck is he here”
All of Jamie's funny story's start with I had friend school
Rule of thumb for holiday dinners, at least with me, is turkey for Thanksgiving, ham for Christmas, and anything goes for New Years. Now, the turkey rules in my house were dinner to days/nights in a row, sandwiches on the Saturday, and then soup on Sunday.
I love him man he’s acc funny
Jamie Laing is very funny 👍🏻👍🏻
He is kind of funny. I think his appeal is being elite but relatable?
The start of Eastenders @10:56
This comment deserves more
🤣🤣🤣 👏👏👏
Jamie is hilarious 😂😂
I love both Shepard's pie and Christmas dinner
I’m with Jamie on Christmas dinner v Shepherd’s pie
The only biscuit your family invented was the " wet drip " ! The one that promises everything but in the end dips itself in your hard earned tea and white in it !
11:33 jimmy's hair is the funniest thing in the entire video
He’s such a lovely bloke.
What does he say the job interview was for? Welsh management? I can't make it out 😂😂
wealth management :)
"Oh fuck off, Shepherd's Pie! Bread sauce is like porridge for arseholes." I just really enjoy 'shepherd's pie'as an insult by itself
God, boarding school sounds so homoerotic. Wish I'd gone.
Someone used an evil reverso spell on Malfoy
Rob made it 10x better 😂
I don't know what bread sauce is it just sounds vile.
It does sound vile but its bloody delicious on roast chicken
@ian d Thanks for the reply. It's the first I have heard of bread sauce and I was born here. I guess coming from an Italian back ground is the reason why. it sounds interesting to say the least.
@ian d This sounds bad I have never heard of a papa pomodoro probably because my parents are from north west not north east again thanks for the info
@ian d I will make it and give it a try thanks have a lovely evening
13:02 Jamies chin farts.
He has some great stories.
"Then why the fuck is he here?"
Strange card for you to play, Katherine.
I think if I did literally a single thing Jaimie has I'd die
Funny little guy. Cracks me up
one of my surprise favorite contestants
Hearing them joke about coronavirus makes me cry
Rob and Jamie look like twins that were separated at birth and one went to a poor family and the other went to a rich family as some form of social experiment
+
I don’t get why this guy gets so much hate. He’s funny and a good sport.
people proper take the piss out of him but he takes it so well
The cockpit joke got Sara good
Why's there so many damn ads on this?? 10 minute clip, 5 ad breaks. Ridiculous.
Hes Funnier than everyone else on the show.
Neither did i, but far more honest than most
Do you think the fact that their parents sent them all to boarding schools and showed them no affection explains why Tories are sociopaths?
I'm sorry but I can not be the only one from watching this makes me want to watch made in Chelsea .. because of how funny he is ...
I love him so much lol my family be a shepherd's pie family too
Jaime got that biscuit money
Its amazing that Jamie, with no effort, can be much funnuer than some of these so called comedians
