This was a really great explanation of how to do this. You made it very simple to understand. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much, you made it so easy to follow instructions.
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
Had to adjust a sprinkler that was hitting my neighbors already wet yard. Thanks for the clear concise directions
You're welcome! Glad we could help!
Video was perfectly succinct, yet broad enough in scope to tell me exactly what I needed to know to set the arcs of my sprinkler head.
Thanks for the comment! Glad we could help!
This is the best video I've seen on this topic, clear and concise, well done!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for the comment!
Exactly what I needed to know, and tremendously detailed and comprehensive. Unfortunately, I could not grasp this plethora of vital information during a single viewing (I'm just a DIY layman) but thankfully I could watch this video several times, stop it and rewind it when the portion I required had just passed. Many thanks for this most useful training tool. It's indispensable.
Thanks for watching!
Excellent video - short, to the point and very helpful. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks!! Excellent explanation
Thanks for the comment!
Thanks for the info, Julian Edelman!!
best video I've seen in terms of conciseness and presentation. (so many youtubers think it's about them talking.) almost a perfect video EXCEPT the arc adjustment presentation section is confusing. you go too fast, and I can't tell when you are adjusting by turning the turret vs. adjusting by turning the tool. and of course, adjusting the arc is the most important part, at least in my life, at the moment, it is. also, with the closeup, which of course is necessary to see the adjustment points, but I can't really tell what the desired water pattern is. are we spraying forward, or towards the presenter. can't tell. some kind of visual indicator on the ground would be really helpful. but THANK YOU for a great video that is concise and to the point. thumbs up, and subscribed.
thank you so much your video is very informative and so simple.
Excellent instructional video. Clear and well-spoken. I wish computer tech videos were one-tenth as well-done as this one is. One question though: I've got one head (PGP) situated at a low point such that I'd like to lean the head backwards ten or fifteen degrees to avoid the hump of terrain near the head. Do I just need to dig up around the head, loosen the connections of the head, tilt it back, and tighten up again? Thanks so much. (Now I know why the guy who set up this system for us didn't leave us with the key, the fox.)
Thanks for the comment! You can use a cut-off riser to raise it up

or install a swing riser as shown in this video.

Excellent video. Thorough and to the point.
Thanks! Happy we could help!
Thanks installing a system very helpful
You're welcome!
Thank you for the clear instructions. I first tried a different brand but gave up after much frustration. I then went an bought a Hunter, with your clear instructions, it was easy to make the necessary adjustments
Great to hear!
A tip on the radius adjustment for heads that has been in service. There's also a slot in the screw for a small flat blade screwdriver if you can't get the hex tool into the screw's hex socket because there is dirt in it
Yo! Thanks for the info guys! I always purchase from Ricardo at the San Dimas CA store. That guy knows his stuff!
You are welcome! Thanks for watching and for the comment!
Great video, instructions worked just as described in the video. Thanks a million
Glad we could help!
Thank you for doing this video and breaking it down
Thanks for watching!
thanks for a good and simple explanation.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks
Very helpful
Happy to help!
I thought it was a bit confusing and out of sequence at the beginning of it. Because you show how to do it in detail, I was able to figure it out with my rain birds. I figured they are basically all the same.
Clear enough. Thank you.
You're welcome!
This is great thank you so much!!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Good video.. is it possible to stop a head from spraying?
Should the key to adjust have been included with my purchase of the Hunter Pro C?
Hello Joni, The Hunter Pro-C controller would not include the adjustment key for the rotors. If you have a Ewing branch near you, you can contact them to see if they have one in stock. store.ewingirrigation.com/locations/
what is your experience with the MP3000 & MP3500 nozzles? seems there is an issue with them to stop rotating after 1-2 seasons? are my doubts reasonable?
Usually this is related to debris build-up. Here's a link to more information on the subject from Hunter:

Thanks for the question!
Can you adjust arc while it’s running?
Yes, you can. Thanks for watching!
How do you clean the head if the allen key can't adjust the screw?
For the homeowner DIY’ers, it would have been more helpful if they frame the info provided by the problem you might have encountered - example: I have a pop-up head value in what was just grass, but is now a raised planting bed - the pop up value seemingly broke off and now their is just a fountain of water pouring out - I know I need to raise the head to spray over the plants, but I don’t know if I should just replace w/ the same head unit or use a different one… ideally the person at the parts store will be able to advise
Where to get it?
So the Hunter heads have the fixed side on the right side, and the Rain Birds have the fixed side on the left?
Yes. I find Rain Bird easier to adjust. Put it in the ground, then twist it all the way left until it stops, then twist it to final location. Glad I only have one Hunter in my lawn. Good luck
Yes, that is correct. Thanks for watching!
What if I want it to go in full circles instead of to a certain point
Hi Brian. This is from Hunter's instructions:
1. Insert the plastic key end of the Hunter wrench into the adjustment socket
2. While holding the nozzle turret at the right stop, turn the wrench clockwise. Each full 360˚ turn of the wrench will
increase the arc 90˚.
3. Adjust to any arc between 40˚ and 360˚
4. The wrench will stop turning, or there will be a ratcheting noise, when the maximum arc of 360˚ (full circle) has been reached.

Not enough detail on what to do to set right stop after loosing and pulling up sprinkler insert.
you rotate the sprinkler insert so that the right arrow is aligned with the furthest right position you want it, then set the insert back into the body and secure
A great video. 2:16 - 2:42 was confusing. Spoken Counter and clockwise do not match video. Better to spend an extra 20 seconds and demonstrate it with what the user is actually facing. Otherwise, very educational.
I found the explanation so fast and difficult to follow. If I were a pro, it would probably be easy to understand, but for a beginner it was so fast, I had no idea what he was doing. To me it was just twisting back and forth without explanation what’s going on. If you were to illustrate slowly what each turn was, it would be much clearer.
Click the settings cog in the upper right corner of the video and slow down the playback speed. .75 does pretty good...
I hate these things
Turn to the right, pat your head spin a 360, jump up 4 times not 3 but 4, turn the nob 270 degrees, if you a hear a click start the whole process over if you hear a beef...Jesus, I appreciate the detailed video but could the designer of this sprinkler head have made this more difficult lol
Horrible instructions.
