Windsurfing on the Goya one 102 with GoPro HD

- The Goya one 102 (2011) is shaped as a wave-oriented FSW, with the widest nose and thinnest tail rails I ever saw for such a size. And here is my very first ride on the lake Grevelingen (spot Grevelingendam, South Holland) in 15-22 knots. I used a 5.2m Ezzy sail with little outhaul to face gusty dying winds, and mounted a GoPro HD camera on the boom end to film both tacks. I was at once pleasantly surprised by a comfy and controllable planing over the chop, and the board felt so lively and loose under my feet that I would give it 10L less. With inboard straps, it was not the fastest FSW on the lake but the board just kept autopilot gliding and demanded little efforts to gain upwind. The wide nose was a good help during tacking and while popping the board onto a plane. And the Goya one turned ... as a dream, making smooth jibes in the corners a fun rather than challenge! Mostly underpowered, I was going back and forth for 3h almost non-stop, so relaxed and enjoyable was a ride.
Amazing video Terminator. You are so inspiring bro.
By the way your are sailing I would say it was a good decision. Very consistent on the duck, tack and jibes. Next fwd loop, but you will need to get some waves.
Nice movies, maybe you can try switching the camera upside down so you are not obstructed by the boom much like what I have watch?v=DLSePJ-4hLM.
I have an FXR 105 and love it, great boards.
Love the duck jibes!
Hmmm nice sailing man, may try some of your foot positioning to help improve my gybes.
