Well I have a "93 FLHS too. Got it from one of my Childhood friend, his father bought it Brand new and had Harley Tacticians install the Screaming Eagle package, S&S Carb. Ignition and Cam. Plus a lowing block for the rear. Excellence ride and just turned 45,000 miles. This Bike has never let me down, run really well Hiways and I just love it's power in the Mountains Roads. I generally get around 42 MPG on the Open Roads, around town about 38-39 MPG. That's pretty darn good for a bike from the "90's.
Beautiful bike my favorite Harley model, and the guages do suck HD should have kept them same as the Shovel models were. Really goofy lookin guages!!on a great EVO powered HD.
I have 1991 that I bought new. It now has 150,000 + miles on it. Never going to let it go.
