So here we go - I am taking the best Vette Lights has to offer and showing them all to you. The tail light game for C5 has gone kind of bonkers and I wanted to compare what is out there.

Thanks for this video. I have a 96 C4 and vette lights recently released the laser style tails for us and I wanted to see how they performed before pulling the trigger on ordering them for my car.

I went with the Halo Runners... I think they look the best! Super bright, but not obnoxiously bright...lol. I've had them on my '01 C5 for the past three years and they keep getting better and better looking with age... There's something about the way they look at night that gives you a modern look with a nostalgic feel, if you know what I mean... Thoroughly enjoyed this upload! Thumbs up from me as usual... Went for the smoke..looks great.
U can add little ohm transistor things to dim those lights. I added 3 and they're much better now.

I ordered smoked taillights for my 04 spiral gray.i also have the front corners smoked and rear side marker smoked also 3rd brake light smoked.ordered thru vette lights

I have the first halo design the month it came out… I still have it super bright. I paid $320 back then.
Love the tail lights. On ur car smoke looks great but its up to you... my vette is in storage. Can i ask you for a favor . If possible can you measure the rear bumper vents for me on your car. I'm making vent grills. With be highly appreciated

No doubt the most detailed and comprehensive explanation of these lights. Im liking the Halo runners but not doing any exterior lighting upgrades yet, maybe a few years from now. I’ll most likely upgrade the interior lights to LED’s where possible.

It’s super easy. Two screws and remove the lens.

Your review was so good, I bought a full set! Went with Smoked from corners and red laser rear and sides. I will install soon. Question - do you need to install the hyper flash harness? I didn’t see that in your video. Thanks.
No with the tails I believe it is built in… but I may not be remembering correctly. I had one installed on my car originally though….
Just bought smoked and modified version with switch hope it looks ok
l sale my Helo modify than l buy the smoke one they are beautiful ..but like the have laser bar only sty on with DRL . ,. I don't know why they don't make it like that. But they are the best ..

How much does the smoke ones go for? And how do you think thy are going to look on dark blue?
I think that would be an awesome look! Laser LED smoked style is $325.
This is exactly what i’m doing. I just ordered the smoked ones for my dark blue c5. How did you like it?
Did you have to get any harness or anything ? For the blinkers hyper flash
I had a hyper flash already installed by previous owner.
Both light sets though have you covered. One came with a harness, the other has it built in with resistors.

What's the little grey harness for?
I believe diagnostics when they test it/program it from the build. It was not used during the install.
I like my sequence lights flashes middle to outside only available in original style bulb there are no led taillights that flash middle to outside they flash at same time I didn't like that someone needs to make led taillights that flash separately or in sequence ..ya-baby. Smoked style
Are your lights factory? I didn't know they came sequential

Can the center laser be turned off?
No they are on/off like the normal lights.

@@RubberCityMotoring worth a try I’ve actually had special request like that work before so i also could tint the runners but im scared of getting the dark red purple look
