What timeline is that now? I know the one where Han and Leia get Jacen, Jaina and Anakin and also a little about the s**t s**tty Disney timeline where they got a son I think, this Rhylo(?) dude? IDK. But that they had a son called Ben is new to me.
Luke as the main protagonist (organizing and leading a new generation of heroes) would have been epic and would have supercharged the Star Wars franchise. But wokeness prevailed over storytelling and fan satisfaction. Star Wars sucks now.
I totally agree with you on that Star Wars is no more about the story it’s now about trying to be more “2024” but Star Wars is a fun Si-Fi movie saga that takes us out of reality so I 100% agree with your statement 🙌
@@PHOENIXTURF I agree with you, but would prefer not to use the Disney storyline for a remake. My version of Luke and Leia being the main characters involves starting earlier, before the complete collapse of the Empire. Leia and Luke go to take Naboo, one of the last holdouts of the Empire. It's got some kind of edge that has allowed it to hang on (the old Droid Army, retrofitted and upgraded, but never employed before the fall of the Emperor, perhaps?) To be short, Luke and Leia go down to try and negotiate a peaceful surrender and learn that they have a personal claim to the throne through their Mother. A new Sith threat on the planet pretends to be a Rebel sympathizer and encourages Luke and Leia to seek personal power over the planet over folding it into the New Republic, as an attempt to turn them to the Dark Side. Leia, raised to be a princess, and having lost her home, is tempted by this, while Luke, raised as a farmboy, and having no personal aspirations, is not. She lets herself get manipulated into leading herself and Luke into a trap, seriously endangering her relationship with Han in the process. Cue big final battle, let the villain escape with most of his resources at the end, but let Luke and Leia liberate Naboo at the end. Setup for the next movie is one of the leaders of the Republic gets convinced Leia or Luke, or both, have actually fallen to the Dark Side, as a result of the events of movie one, possibly due to the work of our new Sith's apprentice. Movie two involves our new Sith traveling to get ahold of power great enough to challenge the New Republic, while his apprentice creates as much drama and chaos among Luke, Leia, and the New Republic as possible to hinder them and distract them from searching for our new Sith.
I like how you don’t kill off the sith but use them for movie 2 to show character development in between movies and I would love to see leia get manipulated and her relationship with Han getting shaky 😃 👍
@@PHOENIXTURF Haven't figured it out yet, honestly. I have no connections to Hollywood and no sense that this would ever get made, but honestly thought the idea was worth sharing to anyone who wanted to use it (and credit me for helping develop the idea). I was thinking the third movie might revolve around our Sith finding a way to create force-sensitive clones, but then you need a way to get a huge power increase for Luke or train a lot of apprentices fast, and I'm not sure I like what the implication of force-sensitive clones does to the Star Wars universe (Jedi are no longer rare and special). Maybe the clones have a flaw in their DNA that interferes with their ability to fully bond with the midicholorians or something, so they are inferior force users? As for the second one, I imagined it revolves around Luke and Leia on or around Naboo and Coruscant trying to convince the Republic that their desire to integrate the planet into the government isn't some kind of trick, while our Sith apprentice tries to use the conflict to throw the New Republic into Civil War, some siding with Luke and Leia, some siding with those who believe that they have turned. I think it would be particularly spicy to have Han on the side of those who believe Luke and Leia have turned. You'd have to carefully set that up in the first movie so it's based on an honest misunderstanding or fans would riot. Do it right, though, and everyone is glued to their seats.
