Revan is my absolute favorite Star Wars character, but I cant agree that he’s the most powerful.
First there’s a misconception of the force in this. The Dark Side and “Light side” can’t necessarily be used in tandem. The Light side is just The Force and the Dark Side is a perversion of that power. It’s kind of a one or the other thing. Revan used several philosophical outlooks on the Force through his life.
Revan is exceptionally strong and very capable of feats most could never achieve, but I wouldn’t peg him in the top 5.
HOWEVER, Revan’s understanding of the Force is second ONLY to Grandmaster Luke Skywalker. He was literally thousands of years ahead of his time.

I don't know if Revan was the strongest force user, but he was the most complete force user in all the SW cosmos! Maybe Anakin was stronger in the force, but only theoretically, since he didn't reach his full potential. On the other hand, Revan walked both sides of the force, and he took full advantage of his powers, maybe even more !

Completely agree with you on the Anakin point. He might have been the most disappointing force user of all time due to the fact that he never got to his full potential

Once Revan was attuned to the balance of Light and Dark, maybe second to the current Anakin…Current Anakin is potentially the Last Celestial.

Luke Skywalker is the most powerfull force user in Star Wars in canon it is debateble, in legends it is 100% true, and George Lucas confirmit it as well.

There is a series of comics that has Palpatine traveling to Koriband and ordering the long dead Sith Lords to commune with him. Palpatine had discovered some kind of power that he used on these former Sith Lords, and he forced them to give up all of their powers and knowledge to him. This made Palpatine the most powerful Sith Lord ever to be born. He had every power of every Sith Lord ever born. From Vitiate to Bane to Reven.

He is super inconsistent in his feats he is suppose to be above peak exar kun ,but always fumbles vitiates bag, they should revisit the idea of putting him in clone wars which is technically(legends) and have him dawg the son or something.

I wouldn't think so, the Sith Emperor kicked his butt not once, but twice. He then kept Revan prisoner for hundreds of years. The Emperor was always at least one step ahead of Revan.

  • @Kylesherrod369

I can't believe what I'm reading. Revan was an awesome Force user... but among the Jedi and Sith, he was not more powerful than Nihilus, or other Sith Masters. He was great... but I would have him on a par with Darth Bane. He had some greater abilities than Bane... but if Bane were contemporaneous with Revan, I think they would be near equals.

  • @Fenris77

Revan's power in the Force was and still is unmatched!
So for me it will allways be REVAN!

  • @TheFireHawk7
    @TheFireHawk7 27 дней назад +1

The plain fact is that Vitiate overpowered him, twice. Now, Scourge's visions suggested that Revan COULD have beaten Vitiate, but the odds were against him. To be fair, Vitiate has an unfair advantage, in his planet eating. A pre-Nathema Vitiate wouldn't stand a chance.
As for others... full potential Anakin definitely exceeds Revan, but we don't see that very often. Meetra Surik's raw power was probably not far behind. Nomi Sunrider would at least have rivalled him. Yoda and Sidious might have been in the same ballpark, but I genuinely think that Revan would have crushed Sidious. Astonishingly enough, Sidious isn't actually a world-class fighter.
He's a very good one, he cut through three Jedi Masters, but for pure swordsmanship, he's behind Obi-Wan (compare their respective fights with Maul and Savage - Sidious is constantly trying to separate the two, and takes the trouble to stun Maul before toying with and finishing Savage, and when Maul comes at him with two sabres and full rage, he's actually briefly being overpowered by the younger Sith, before he manages to break the blade-lock and do what he always does when in trouble - resort to bullying people with the Force. Obi-Wan, by contrast, held them both off at close quarters, lopped off Savage's arm, and sent them both running for their lives). There's a REASON he was always trying to escape Yoda whenever he wasn't drunk on the Dark Side, because his rationality reasserted itself and realised three things:
    1) He couldn't overpower Yoda with the Force. In the filmed version, it was always a dead heat, with Yoda having perhaps a slight advantage, and the Force Lightning blowing up in his face. Hell, in a deleted scene, Yoda actually managed to reflect the Force lightning off a camera droid and hit Sidious in the back with his own power.
    2) He certainly couldn't beat him with a sabre, which is why he resorted to the Force.
    3) There was no mileage in fighting Yoda, because at this point, the only one with anything to gain from it was Yoda himself.
Otherwise? Maybe Vaylin is stronger. She's insanely powerful, enough that she scared Vitiate, and guess who the only other person to do that was? That's right: Revan.
Then there's the Hero of Tython, who killed Vitiate.
So, Revan is up there, as far as mortals go.

"This was the tomb of Tulak Hord, known as the greatest lightsaber duelist of the Sith Lords. His skill was considered remarkable even in his time, when many true lightsaber masters lived. If you were to face an ancient Sith Lord in combat, you would learn that we are as children playing with toys compared to the prowess of the old Masters."
If that quote is taken at face value Exar Kun faced like a dozen people total? He won mostly on giving into his irritation and hubris. He was the most powerful dark sider for sure but arguably his power lay with his lightsaber prowess more than his use of the force. The amulet also only amplifies dark side powers to my knowledge and we know that Revan could easily absorb any dark side attack that Exar could push his way, "I am Revan Reborn and before me, you are nothing." (Queue Niriss dying... charredly...) and the Light has abandoned him as well so he could not fall back on the lightside as Revan can. Though you are wrong about Exar being the most powerful force user, you would be correct in saying he is the most powerful Darkside user surpassing Vitiate imo.

if we are talking most powerful non celestial force user based on feats it's the 1st sith emperor darth valkorian, as a small child he effortlessly and permanently stripped a fully fledged sith lord of his connection to the force with a thought and as a adult he has the single greatest force feat out of any mortal character which is when he effortlessly used mind domination on over 8,000 other sith lords and later the jedi that came to investigate why the sith were gathering then forced them all to genocide all life on a planet then end themselves just so he could absorb all the negative force energy generated by the ritual he was performing which terrified the other remaining sith lords and the jedi so much for the 1st time in history they teamed up and had to jump him in order to finally defeat him and 1 of the force users that was part of the sith/jedi army sent to slay valkorian was revan himself and even then it took everything revan and every one else had to finally put him down for good, if you add in celestial beings theres the 3 mortis gods, the 5 ghost sisters yoda met (granted we don't really get any feats for them but we know they are/were absurdly powerful) and currently we have force ghost anakin who has fully realized his powers and based on what we have seen could very likely be the strongest force user ever (still not enough data to accurately gauge him though), then we have abaloth who currently has the single greatest force feat ever shown that we can accurately scale which is when she wiped out a bunch of jedi, sith and more importantly the entire world of corosant with a single scream which is pretty much the same thing valkorian did to another planet only abaloth destroyed the world instantly and effortlessly where as valkorian had to force a army of sith and jedi to attack the world and he destroyed it overtime with said army compared to abaloth that basically pulled a death star and destroyed a world with single scream/laser blast instantly which is far above any other force users whos strength we can accurately gauge, this also lead to the jedi, sith teaming up for the 2nd time and final time in history and on top of that the new republic as well in order to defeat her.

You sound like you have a deep knowledge of thus stuff already... maybe you just have a different perspective than me. I see the Dark Jedi conquerors as the 1st rulers of the New iteration of the Sith Empire. @@Kylesherrod369 in canon darth valkorian is the 1st sith emperor of the sith ORDER, ajunta pall was a sith emperor of the sith race/species and was the blue print valkorian would use when he decided to crown himself emperor of the sith order since he based the sith orders structure on the sith races/species structure but when ajunta pall was the emperor of the sith species/race the sith order itself didn't exist yet (the building blocks were there but at the time of ajunta pall they were still just dark jedi but the dark jedi and sith race intermingled and interbred which later led to the birth of the sith order which was named after the sith species/race to honor them) but in canon the sith order is it's own thing (esp later down the line after the sith order leaves the sith homeworld).
