@@dragonlord498”…peace weakened jedi…” is the best adjective I’ve seen written about the Jedi Order, ever. You wrote the words I’ve always wanted to use, but just couldn’t articulate. I get so frustrated with that order for absolutely refusing to tap into The Dark Side. With patient, deliberate, and methodical reasoning, training, and experience, there is no reason for them to not harness the power of The Dark Side while not succumbing to it. A few reasons to justify doing so: One needs to know what drives the enemy in order to counter them; Using both Sides is as balanced as each side evening out the other; Exposure to and proficiency in The Dark Side will safeguard a Jedi from an assault of Dark power - or at least provide a level of mastery so as not to become immediately overwhelmed. Being Light-side limited and peace weakened has led directly to internal conflict and corruption, wars, and the deaths of trillions. It seems some Jedi always try to look into learning a little of The Dark Side, but because it’s so forbidden they have to do so in secret. And because of that secrecy, they lack the experience to not be taken over by it, leading right into the internal corruption and conflict that begins the repeat of the cycle of galactic war. Then, after The Light Side triumphs and resets the Balance, the Jedi Order and the particular republic forgets everything after years, decades, centuries, of peace and the same story begins anew. Instead of relying on a good side and a bad side to maintain the balance in The Force, I should think a new order could be created that keeps the balance WITHIN itself. Do it right out in the open such that the order polices itself, in case a master goes too far into The Dark and starts getting lost. It certainly couldn’t be worse than what they’re trying now. And the opera story wouldn’t get anywhere close to being done - the storylines and backstories would be every bit as infinite as they are now. As a matter of opinion, this would be SO momentous and dramatic of a change, it would completely alter THE underlying, unifying ebb and flow that weaves through and determines the entire macro plot. It could literally re-kickstart the entire franchise.

Problem: The dark side *is* the imbalance. As far as I remember the dark side is inherently about everything negative and destructive and it's mere existence causes imbalance. Maintaining the "balance" means destroying the dark side wherever it rears. You also have to remember that the force is somewhat alive and sentient, meaning the dark side is inherently malicious and actively corrupting. You may think of the dark side as the warp from 40k.
@@gehtdichnixan9005 Numbers in Jedi also count. There were 10000 Jedi for the entire galaxy who used only Light Side during Clone Wars. With Dark Side training for the best training ever without any slip-up from situation clearly you had no control of (risking a rise of another galactic conqueror) their numbers would be far lesser. Likes of Revan are most powerful, but even he must fall to unlimited swarm of battle droids. With less numbers all Jedi would be crushed far quickly. Also people count, not training, but people and how they function. Likes of Exar Kun had fallen because he was a racist jerk from the start in front of other Jedi who were trained like him yet they did not end up like him. Saying yes to him would result in increasing his already arrogant ego, saying no to him ot kicking him out for his misbehaviour would result in his arrogant ego get hurt, both of them resulting in bad situation, because he wouldn't listen to reason. Also despite already being the best, Dark Side already tempted him, not out of genuine reason, but simply he wanted more than what he got.
A fine addition to my collection!!
Thanks mate! Stay tuned for the next part!
I don't think most casual fans realize just how dangerous the Mandalorian people are. Their droid was declared a warcrime.

I am interested in starting a Collection
This series makes the story we see on the big screen make so much more sense. Thank you.
