Tim Hardaway is a Heat Legend. I met him on Ocean Drive during his playing days and he's a REAL ONE on, and off the court.
I met Keith Askins during Meet the Heat prior to the season. It was packed, and I had my 7yr old with me, and people where getting out of hand being pushy. Keith had seen my situation telling people to chill, and he stopped singing autographs, stood up, and came over by me and asked if I, and my 7yr old were OK. He then announced to everyone that he didn't want to see pushing especially where kids are involved or he and the other players would stop signing. Everything from that moment was on point. For those who don't know Keith Askins, he was the Udonis Haslem of the Heat before there was a UD.

I grew up in El Paso and watched Hardaway play at UTEP. Fan of his from his college days.

I'm from the Chi and remember the early 90's when time played in my neighborhood Pro Ams in Leclaire Park. Omg them was the days with Brian Leech, Randy Brown, Pete Myers, Kevin Duckworth, Kelvin Upshaw, Mitchell JJ Anderson, Ken Norman, Juwann Howard, Michael Finley, Chris Webber, Tom Kleinsmith, Kenny Battle, etc....
Legendary runs. My uncle would play in them with Mitchell Anderson, they went to Bradley together.

Im laughing because I went to Carver High School during the Terry Cummings era. I remember lunch was a big deal. You had to eat at school,because no way you could walk all the way through the Gardens and make it back to school on time. Love seeing Tim always.

As a die hard Knicks fan and in my prime in the 90's, I knew there was still animosity between the players,lol. Those series literally from TIPOFF of game 1 they were playing like it was a game 7. Best series every year, always went to a deciding game. Great times

I always picked Miami Heat on NBA Live 2000 on psx. I even put no.41 on my created player because of Glen Rice who was a Heat player in their early years that for some reason a lot of people forget.
This is the best basketball podcast out there. It’s as good as the old stories. Mike and Udonis are well spoken. Don’t act like fools.

My uncle lived around the corner from Tim in the late 90s. I remember how excited I was when we went by his house and saw the security shutters up because that meant he was home. He used to ride Tim Jrs bike with Tim Jr on his shoulders.
