Do you own either? If so, you know The Threezero figures are good for the money but aren't even playing the same game as Flame. It's not even close. Being cheaper doesn't make something a better value.
@@AnthonysCustoms It does when they give you better engineering and great finish. And yes, I've owned both Flame Toys figures and Threezero figures and the former are getting WORSE while the latter are getting BETTER. Compare Flame Toys Drift to this lazy Jazz and tell me with a straight face it's on the same level. Look at the pictures of the Threezero MDLX Jazz compared to this. What is worth the extra cash? The little lights??
Love the design, but for $300 plus, it needs to be 12 inch at least - something like a Hot Toys. This is out of my league. Love the bright lights. I don’t mind if it can double as a lamp or flashlight 😂😂😂. It would be cool if it has Bluetooth too - Jazz… music…. As much as I like this, not paying more than $200.
Wish some of the car pieces were a bit bigger. Know it's a non transforming figure, but can't see this design transforming at all. Still looks amazing of course.
Gorgeous, and my fav G1 character, but had to talk myself out of it because of that price. Drooling at the screen right now doesn't make that decision feel any easier. 🤣
I’m glad figures in this price range exist, so we can see what this medium can do when pushed to extremes; but I personally don’t have this kind of money to spend, even if it’s the best figure of a character I love.
The Flame Toys stuff is so nice but so expensive... I have to be super picky. Optimus Primes and Megatrons are a big part of my collection, as are black repaints. Especially Nemesis Prime. I couldn't afford Flame Toys across the board but splurged on their Nemesis. Their Prime design in that color scheme looks AMAZING.
I have this one and Prime. I have them because they are two of my favorite characters. I would buy a Grimlock from them if they ever release it. I wouldn't collect them all as I don't care about Tarn or Drift enough to pay that much for them. But in general, they are the best designs and engineering for action figures.
Flame Toys Transformer are pretty close to perfect IMO. Yeah they can be a bit pricing but I'm glad to pay the extra cost for such a great piece of art in my collection.
I honestly think yes I am okay with a higher price point for the figure if the figure is done well. I am 100% happy with the Halo Noble team from 1000toys even though they’re smaller they are well done figures
I bought the Lewin Resources 28" (Yes as big as HasLab Unicorn) Transforming Optimus Prime and he was $380.00. And it was full of diecast and the Matrix wad a solid chunk of metal. I know this is a too shelf figure but I think its time is done. When Flame Toys started this line there was no MDLX or Yolopark which as you mention might not be at this level but at the end of the day its going to sit on a sheld and in doing so astetic design aside I can't see someone guessing that this figure would be 4 times the price of the Yolopark or MDLX or more than the larger DLX. Its still sweet though.
To be honest, I prefer the MDLX figures before even taking the price difference into consideration. I didn't even know these are so much more expensive, it's absolutely no contest.
If it's $300+ and it's a Transformer figure then we're entering actual transforming TF territory with Masterpiece quality engineering that can pull off both robot and alt modes.
This line is insanely cool but the price is pretty tough to swallow. I did pick up the Shattered Glass Megatron and I love it, but for now I think I'll stick to the MDLX figures. Also I'm 100% with you on the Flame Toys stands. Seems like a minor thing but it's one of my biggest gripes (because everything else on these figures is so well done). They're so big and while they are sturdy, which you want for such heavy, expensive figures, they don't allow for the most convenient posing/displaying.
I’m going to stick to the upcoming ThreeZero MDLX Jazz, which looks similar but it’s $79 bucks and it’s about 6 inches so it fits better in my collection.
If I'm a millionaire I wouldn't care about this price. But there's no reason for a middle class income person to pay $400 for a tiny figure when they have bills, kids, and food to pay for. It's just a hobby and pieces of plastic at the end of the day. Unless the particular piece heals your soul and completes your existence or something. That's completely subjective.
@@Atmixka Yes, you pay the price according to your economic circumstance. An average income family buying cars would usually choose Toyotas and not Ferraris through a simple cost-benefit process in their minds. That's the whole point of my post.
I think the MDLX line comes close enough at a 1/4 the price to be good enough for me. I can't say it isn't worth it but just like the Robinson Transforming robots I can't swing it. Also they make so few in the line that you never know how deep this collection will go.
Whenever TakaraTomy gets around to making a Masterpiece Jazz, it will probably cost like 2/3rds of this thing. I will admit the aesthetic is very cool, but the price is absolutely a non-starter.
It's cool, but is it 300 dollars cool? ...he'll naw!! I STRONGLY disagree on this one. It's a damn transformer that doesn't transform and articulates meh. I've seen bigger figures, almost as cool if not as much, or more, for cheaper. I don't get where the 300 dollars is going. Sik
@@AnthonysCustoms hey, if you like it and can afford it, do your thing! It's just way too expensive with too little payoff my peasant level budget. Lol! Sik
This toys for $300 are totally bullshit. As a transformers collector i prefer take MMC figs. with high articulation and aesthetic of IDW TF, than Flame Toy's overpriced crap. Or Fans-Hobby stuff.
399 bucks he needs to transforms or like way way bigger you should get a shogoken figure Mazinger Z to review or something else that pops up for you. But yeah na this guy looks great but form that price he must transform. Thanks for sharing
For that price, I'm glad I went with the MDLX Transformers line, smaller yes, affordable yes.
Yeah they knock it out the park
I have both Prime and Jazz. I live in my car, but I'm happy 😂
lol. i know the feeling
lollll
$300 is roughly how much I've spent on figures the entire year lol
Threezero is breaking ground on nontransforming TF for a third of the price. Flame Toys is overpriced and getting worse with each release.
Do you own either? If so, you know The Threezero figures are good for the money but aren't even playing the same game as Flame. It's not even close. Being cheaper doesn't make something a better value.

I prefer the model kits Flame Toys does. I enjoy models, and with some work, they can look just as good.

What an awesome looking robot!
That is a luxury item for sure.
I will never have a sports car, but maybe a $300 action figure.
Lol. Fair point

Definitely suggest checking out the G1 Optimus & Megatron from yolopark. Really quality 💯
He looked at the G1 Prime AMK model and gave it an 8 out of 10. Yolopark makes nice figures at a surprising price.
Not even closely comparable to Flame Toys though
If it's $300+ and it's a Transformer figure then we're entering actual transforming TF territory with Masterpiece quality engineering that can pull off both robot and alt modes.
you trade off the abiltiy to transform to be made out of much better materials with a much higher level of quality and finish.

@sigerliom8608 A millionaire would say it's too over priced for a hand sized toy.
If you are into these kinds of hobbies then you gotta pay the price

Only in America. Hell, I'm considered poor, and I'm getting.
I collect the MDLX line. Quite a but cheaper and still nice in my opinion! These are incredible but can't afford to collect a whole team lol
I agree with your critiques but im still smitten with this figure. I also got him for slightly lower price
These are amazing but I absolutely can not justify the price. I do like watching these reviews for them tho.
I was gonna say "that's a nice us100 figure that I'd buy. When you said us300+.....😮 Forget it.

i will spend it ! i did for power rangers dinomegazord.
I dont know if the scale scales jazz should be wayyy smaller then optimus it might scale with mp though
I don't think they're scaling them. They're all around the same height.
3 hun!?!?🤯
yeah honestly I like toys but I wouldn't spend that much on them
Those lights should've been led. The head lights look like stickers.
They are led...
