My Skin’s The Unknown - a song by Keyoríe Eliaña

Hi loves! Here is my first “public” song!
I feel like a lot of the time when black girls went to date people outside of our race. The first thing we question is “ will they like me because of my skin tone/because I’m black?” And the song is not in any way shape or form talking about how we need to change ourselves to fit their ideal standard. It is to show that we are so much more than just our skin tone and they don’t really pay attention to our heart, but yet what we look like. I feel like it is very important to be a voice to so many young or older black females because this is something that we struggle with on a daily basis. Remember that you’re worth so much more than what’s on the outside.
I’ve been working on this song for about 3 months and I finished it on December 23, 2024. Let me know what you guys think and I cannot wait to get this professionally recorded.
