That's my routine everyday. When I was still working, I wake up at 4am to read my Bible and pray. Take shower then leave for work 5:45 to beat the traffic. Now retired, I have more time to read my Bible and kneel down to pray 🙏 It feels good spending time with God before anything else.

And perhaps while she travels and exercises she is meditating on what she consumed. 😉 Most of social media is ME-centric and thereby worthy of scrutiny and criticism. I would like to point out, however, that her posting her routine, however lacking or less than, has been a benefit to me, since I struggle with routine and rhythms. It is really encouraging to see you start your day with reading His Word. I am doing what I can, reading on my 1.5 hour suway ride to work. I used to compare myself to what you are doing. Now I am relaxed because God examines our hearts and He knows who are and what we are able to do.
My life has been in active reset mode for about 4 months. I started with the little things, so if anyone can relate to a tired, completely over themselves, in a rut creature of habit, i can assure you that baby steps are still steps and progress really does happen even when you start so small andslow. First was TV, i have always had to have TV on to function no matter what, especially to sleep. Jan 1 i cut out Hulu and all of the others except for Disney, and I kept my RUclips premium and Spotify. I have been watching Kanoe's heart dive videos on my TV to go to sleep, I add like 8 to the que. And they're usually just getting to the end of the list when I wake up. I habitually have to have noise so my first step was replacing the noise with better and more productive and christian content. Even now i still struggle with getting distracted too long by more worldly things, but its definitely so much better in my mind and spirit since i made that small but big change. As for other content throughout the day i will listen to videos (like Ashley's!), podcasts, tutorials, bible studies and stuff; while im doing things. I havent completely replaced my secular music and i think i am okay with that, as a musician its somewhat important to me that I embrace the music i always have, but Ive recently been dabbling more into the Christian music department (which is honestly so good). Also on Christmas day night i set up focus mode on my phone that blocks me from using Facebook and Reddit and Tiktok from 6am-6pm (and that's made the biggest difference too i think). If it wasnt for my bestie going through trials and calling each other a lot, I would probably limit my phone time more, and I probably will in the future. I also have taken baby steps in altering my routine as a whole. I am disabled so my routine looks a lot different, lots and lots of fatigue and unintentional and reluctant lounging. But years ago instead of staying in bed all day i trained myself to sit at my desk from the moment i woke up til bedtime, regardless of what i did at the desk (nails, yt, crafts, studying ect). I have been in a depression hole for about 3 years so ive spent almost all of my days in bed and holed up in my bedroom, even when i was so frustrated with myself for it. So a few months back once i started making these smaller but impactful baby steps i also accommodated my desk area again and have been actively building the mental and physical endurance to sit there and do my bible studies. I had to start from completely scratch but now i have a lot of progress in that area too. My chronic illnesses play such a huge role in my every day life most days it feels like my goals and my inability to make progress quicker is so frustrating. But then i look back on where i was 6 months ago and realize how much i have changed. Just by replacing things that take little effort really make a difference. God is responsible for my progress and my growth. During this time ive been actively changing and trying, i have prayed so much. But i can tell you that when i say i was in the deepest hole, I mean it. God pulled my heart out of crisis and truly started working in me one little thing at a time almost like i didnt realize it was happening, he was posturing me for changes he already knew I needed. Like, when i decided that these were the things i needed to overcome and change, it was like God gave me the best blessing and started rewiring me in such a way where i felt strong enough to change. He also gave me new found and such graciously given wisdom and maturity in such a different way and time too. I started taking steps to become financially independent, learning about budgeting and planning in those areas because I know it is critical to my life to become my best person to present to God and to dedicate my life to him over all other things, and in order to do that will a full heart clean mind and undoubted actions, I had to start researching big girl things like how to open a checking account and how to save money and how to finance.. you wouldnt really count those as part of a spiritual transformation because they are worldly but when those things are critical to your development and how you can serve God without idolizing your worldly problems and worrying over them instead of trusting God, they become a chapter of the journey. And the same goes for setting boundaries with people and myself, and taking the time to learn about myself and share my testimony. My ultimate goal is to het up before the sun and do my jesus time; because of my illness mornings are so hard regardless of what time i wake up im always "defrosting" for about 2 hours before i can function or think properly, so the get up get dressed and read my bible within 30 minutes of waking up before sunrise, is not as easy for me. However i know that if by training myself to wake up a lot earlier than rhe rest of my world, using that same logic, i would still achieve my quiet time in said time. I pray a lot for the strength and motivation to even get up in the mornings and even more to be able to be productive and function and accomplish just the basic tasks and adulting type things and just regular things that most people don't think twice about; and i do have to say that God has provided me with so much comfort and grace and strength in its own regard because 12 months ago i would have never thought I could accomplish what i currently am. A lot of days go by that I rely on God to bring me some little boosts of energy to get the big things done so that I can have the ability time and focus to spend in his presence and in his word. Sometimes my quiet study time is listening to sermons and taking notes on a scratch pad while i am doing these regular human activities that deplete me more than I would like but because i feel like i am in spirit and in position and posture, I feek very much fulfilled and purposeful snd feel close to Him even when i am unable to sit down with Him. I just took myself back to my church on Sunday after having left the church for 10 years. It was a blessing from God and such an amazing and blessed experience because they immediately invited me to their bible studies and to sing during worship. I had been praying for a church to go to that would have that available and I admit i was anxious and a little ashamed to go back to the church i was so involved in and i ghosted them. But they all welcomed me back and the new ones introduced themselves to me with open arms and i felt closer to God and still do. I just wanted to share that here because i know there are more people that have struggled like me, especially when they dream and pray that they can have such a beautiful determined routine and their body's and healing sometimes steers the wheel instead. God has so much grace and understanding he knows when we are aching for his love and he is so encouraging no matter where you are in your journey or how holed up in your room you might be. I hope this finds who it is supposed to and i pray that anyone who is going through their seasons and those who have triumphed through them, find that grace and understanding no matter where they are.

I have a disability that can keep me in bed, almost all day long, sometimes for weeks or months, and unable to leave my house at times. And I have another one that even when I’m well, it makes me struggle with the daily things people can easily do without thinking about it, like cleaning, exercising, cooking/eating, shopping, or keeping a consistent routine in general. Like you said sometimes our bodies and minds take control of our plans. I feel like I’m not good enough when I compare myself to other Christians that are much more productive and put together than I am. That's awesome. My night when I fall asleep is listening to preaching or Christian music or scripture. I fall asleep with and wake up to it if It is still on. God is good. Keep living for Yeshua and being disciplined and faithful. Pray God puts things in my life in order .

My morning as a Christian is waking up and thanking God for waking me up. Having time with the Lord should be private because we are not to boast about how "holy" we are. The Bible says to go into your room, close the door because God sees the unseen. Everything else is just very materialistic
You don't have to be Christian to have alot of material things,put on makeup,get dressed,go to gym,do your hair,brush our teeth etc....just be a good person and be kind to those around you.

The Bible says those in positions like that will be judged more harshly. Therefore, she does need more correction and guidance as she has made herself an example of a what a Christ follower is to so so many. That’s a very lofty position to hold. I agree with this poster that she needs to be more careful with what she is wearing in her videos. The Bible also says to be careful not to make others stumble. The part where she films herself dressing could definitely make men watching stumble. It’s the truth. I'm a Christian too, but sis please be careful when posting about worldly things then passing it off as Christian. I don't want to be overly critical but I personally don't think it's wise/not godly to show you getting dressed in a video for youtube. I'm not saying it to be mean at all but understand that your audience could be anyone including men who just happen to get you video in their feed. Woman to woman we don't see anything but the back of your sports bra, but men see things differently and as Christians we shouldn't purposely leave a place for a man to lust. I struggle though with being able to pray un early morning cause I'm top sleepy and out of concentration But needing to be spiritually fed I usually start with some small sleepy prayer right after waking up which turns out in a bit sleeping over Time 😄 Then I wake up, make some energizing tea or coffee, do some stuff and try to read The Word of God /pray about certain things with A BIT clearer mind I don't understand how people wake up That early and feel energized already. *But I think may be it could be related also with my need of deliverance from that feeling of sleepiness ( I guess it may be Marine Spirit after researching)/it really may be also a spiritual attack 🤔😞 But still struggling to find out how to break from these cycles of getting closer to God and not feeling sleepy /drained . 🙏
Honestly, i used to feel bad if i didn't pray first thing but now I brush my teeth and wash my face and i feel alert to actually have devotion instead of mumbling through "good morning, Abba" prays. To each his own, i suppose. She's not neglecting her devotion, it's just in a different order.

I’ve often struggled to be able to fall asleep early unless I was sick or very, very sleep deprived. I used to fight it a lot, too, and I was exhausted and cranky in the morning, too tired to pray or focus on God for at least a couple hours after I woke up. Now I embrace the way I believe God created me. He has used me many times to help people, especially my friends, late at night when they’re struggling, lonely, anxious or depressed, and can’t sleep. They know I’m awake and will listen if they need someone to talk to. Just last night I was able to be a listening ear for my friend who was upset around midnight.

Idk if you'll see this comment but I recently discovered that you should wait at least 1 hour after you wake up before having coffee. It increases your cortisol levels and your body depends on the coffee instead of its own cortisol to wake up, look it up there's a lot about it!

I started taking steps to become financially independent, learning about budgeting and planning in those areas because I know it is critical to my life to become my best person to present to God and to dedicate my life to him over all other things, and in order to do that will a full heart clean mind and undoubted actions, I had to start researching big girl things like how to open a checking account and how to save money and how to finance.. you wouldnt really count those as part of a spiritual transformation because they are worldly but when those things are critical to your development and how you can serve God without idolizing your worldly problems and worrying over them instead of trusting God, they become a chapter of the journey. And the same goes for setting boundaries with people and myself, and taking the time to learn about myself and share my testimony. My ultimate goal is to het up before the sun and do my jesus time; because of my illness mornings are so hard regardless of what time i wake up im always "defrosting" for about 2 hours before i can function or think properly, so the get up get dressed and read my bible within 30 minutes of waking up before sunrise, is not as easy for me. However i know that if by training myself to wake up a lot earlier than rhe rest of my world, using that same logic, i would still achieve my quiet time in said time. I pray a lot for the strength and motivation to even get up in the mornings and even more to be able to be productive and function and accomplish just the basic tasks and adulting type things and just regular things that most people don't think twice about; and i do have to say that God has provided me with so much comfort and grace and strength in its own regard because 12 months ago i would have never thought I could accomplish what i currently am. A lot of days go by that I rely on God to bring me some little boosts of energy to get the big things done so that I can have the ability time and focus to spend in his presence and in his word. Sometimes my quiet study time is listening to sermons and taking notes on a scratch pad while i am doing these regular human activities that deplete me more than I would like but because i feel like i am in spirit and in position and posture, I feek very much fulfilled and purposeful snd feel close to Him even when i am unable to sit down with Him. I just took myself back to my church on Sunday after having left the church for 10 years. It was a blessing from God and such an amazing and blessed experience because they immediately invited me to their bible studies and to sing during worship. I had been praying for a church to go to that would have that available and I admit i was anxious and a little ashamed to go back to the church i was so involved in and i ghosted them. But they all welcomed me back and the new ones introduced themselves to me with open arms and i felt closer to God and still do. I just wanted to share that here because i know there are more people that have struggled like me, especially when they dream and pray that they can have such a beautiful determined routine and their body's and healing sometimes steers the wheel instead. God has so much grace and understanding he knows when we are aching for his love and he is so encouraging no matter where you are in your journey or how holed up in your room you might be. I hope this finds who it is supposed to and i pray that anyone who is going through their seasons and those who have triumphed through them, find that grace and understanding no matter where they are.

I have a disability that can keep me in bed, almost all day long, sometimes for weeks or months, and unable to leave my house at times. And I have another one that even when I’m well, it makes me struggle with the daily things people can easily do without thinking about it, like cleaning, exercising, cooking/eating, shopping, or keeping a consistent routine in general. Like you said sometimes our bodies and minds take control of our plans. I feel like I’m not good enough when I compare myself to other Christians that are much more productive and put together than I am. Thank you for showing me I’m not alone in my struggles and that God understands our hearts and gives us grace. I hope you’re doing well. God bless you.

My morning as a Christian is waking up and thanking God for waking me up. Having time with the Lord should be private because we are not to boast about how "holy" we are. The Bible says to go into your room, close the door because God sees the unseen. Everything else is just very materialistic

It is ok to get correction from other believers. Especially since this Christian girl has chosen to be a RUclipsr and make herself an example of Christianity for the entire world to see. The Bible says those in positions like that will be judged more harshly. Therefore, she does need more correction and guidance as she has made herself an example of a what a Christ follower is to so so many. That’s a very lofty position to hold. I agree with this poster that she needs to be more careful with what she is wearing in her videos. The Bible also says to be careful not to make others stumble. The part where she films herself dressing could definitely make men watching stumble. It’s the truth. I’m 38, been married for 14 years, I have 7 brothers, my husband and I have worked with youth and young adults for years together. This is not to be taken lightly.

I'm a Christian too, but sis please be careful when posting about worldly things then passing it off as Christian. I don't want to be overly critical but I personally don't think it's wise/not godly to show you getting dressed in a video for youtube. I'm not saying it to be mean at all but understand that your audience could be anyone including men who just happen to get you video in their feed. Woman to woman we don't see anything but the back of your sports bra, but men see things differently and as Christians we shouldn't purposely leave a place for a man to lust. It's not legalism but holy living. Again I'm not saying these things to be hurtful nor tear you down. Just sister correction because we sometimes don't realize. Honestly, i used to feel bad if i didn't pray first thing but now I brush my teeth and wash my face and i feel alert to actually have devotion instead of mumbling through "good morning, Abba" prays. To each his own, i suppose. She's not neglecting her devotion, it's just in a different order.

I’ve often struggled to be able to fall asleep early unless I was sick or very, very sleep deprived. I used to fight it a lot, too, and I was exhausted and cranky in the morning, too tired to pray or focus on God for at least a couple hours after I woke up. Now I embrace the way I believe God created me. He has used me many times to help people, especially my friends, late at night when they’re struggling, lonely, anxious or depressed, and can’t sleep. They know I’m awake and will listen if they need someone to talk to. Just last night I was able to be a listening ear for my friend who was upset around midnight.

Currently, they should focus on their studies and academic life, and when that is in shape, then it is best to think of a job. A part time may be useful slightly earlier. Idk if you'll see this comment but I recently discovered that you should wait at least 1 hour after you wake up before having coffee. It increases your cortisol levels and your body depends on the coffee instead of its own cortisol to wake up, look it up there's a lot about it!
