    When I was obese my stool broke in Art class. I took a page from Rosemary and said "It's happened before it'll happen again." everyone laughed. lmao it was better to get myself first then let them get me. lmao

      As a fellow fat person it's disgusting how NO ONE defends us, not even the teachers, when that happens!
      The other children can be laughing, verbally bullying, PHYSICALLY BULLYING, body slamming, jumping, beating us and teachers act like "well, you DESERVE IT FOR...BEING FAT!"
      Like pdf-philes DON'T GET THIS LEVEL OF HATE universally FROM EVERYONE LIKE FAT PEOPLE DO!

      I really hate the way they make it look like ugly equals good and beautiful equals shallow and dumb. That's a terrible message. I watch reviews of this from different creators to understand why people can't see the problem with this horrifying movie.

    please don't tell your viewers to grab a snack and drink
    snacks are extremely unhealthy unless it is something organic
    and drinks too unless it is water
    but I doubt these options are associated with a snack or a drink
    so you telling them to have a snack or a drink only leads to obesity

    You really missed the point.The movie is literally trying to show the opposite of what you're saying

    • @stutter_box
      @stutter_box  9 месяцев назад +22

      I think the movie’s intentions might have been good, but the way it goes about showing that true beauty is on the inside or beauty is in the eye of the beholder, is not the best and actually reinforces all the negative stereotypes that people who don’t fit the accepted beauty standards face daily.

    • @samanthajayewardene4523
      @samanthajayewardene4523 9 месяцев назад +16

      I think this movie has done the opposite of what they were trying to do. Hal hasn't really learned a lesson in the end and it reinforces the stereotype that women will settle for any jerk who gives them even a little attention. All the women in this movie deserve better than Hal and his awful friend.

    • @stutter_box
      @stutter_box  9 месяцев назад +13

      Exactly! A quick read through some of the reviews and they highlight exactly that. In trying to “expose” the stereotypes, they end up reinforcing every single one of them, with a really disappointing ending that offers no real character development or justification for this bizarre story

      Models..singers..actors..are still looking like they just exited Auschwitz. It's even worse with plastic surgery the standards become unreachable ! People are taking that thing "ozampic" ( sorry forgotten the word ) killing themselves to stay thin ! Nothing changed it's just a little more hypocritical now. I went through anorexia being a teen i totally get it .

      @J_Mock92 2 месяца назад

      It's a bit ironic that you'd even say that, because this video has a very evident overtone of humor... I've always liked this movie and still think it's funny, but it definitely has some problematic elements that didn't age well with the times, and there's nothing wrong with pointing those out or poking fun at it... Ya know, with a sense of humor... 🙄
