hve any luck overclocking and or undervolting the cpu fr performance gains. is it unlocked in bios or u still need throttle stop or both? thanks for the upload !
allows overclocking via BIOS and tools like ThrottleStop. Undervolting depends on BIOS restrictions; combining both methods optimizes performance, but the temperature have to be monitored
I have the M18 r1 with i9 13980hx and 4090 (basically the same laptop). The fans are 4 in total. I had to repaste it due to bad manufacturing job. After doing this, my CPU and GPU stays always under 85 deg giving all they have to perform (and it is not low level). I know they have enhanced a bit the cooling system in r2. Anyway, if no problem with original paste job, no problem at all with very high performance. This problem happens. You can see also video on youtube about some Scar 18 bad original paste. Regards

that "advanced cooling technology" not so good when cpu and gpu share the same heat pipe and only two small fans
yes, it impacts sustained performance especially for heavy workload or gaming. Not the best compared to other performance laptops in this range
@@alpharatings6849 give us suome examples of other laptops in the range please
