Such a blast from the past! Laughing hard at 18:37 xD Yes indeed, it is a power button (just push it), but a rarely used one because the keyboard has the user facing button on the top right meant for daily use. I do remember using the back side power button when certain lock-ups occurred to force a power cycle, as the keyboard power button could not turn off the system when locked-up IIRC (it was 1994). My family has a similar unit (8100/80AV), sadly in the same condition, if not worse by now.
Yeah I forgot there was a power button on the keyboard haha. But how can I expect that the one button in the front is the power button? Oh sorry, Apple haha
Open up the mouse, probably one of the optic sensors is dirty. It was a common issue with all ball mouses. Once as a joke I openen some of the ports on that axle, the pointer was scipping irregular over the screen of my colleague. Very nice about ps/2, they only work if it's booted with it he had a hard time powering down his computer...

Actually I took a look at the mouse and it seems like the "wheel"-sensor for the x-axis isn't doing anything when you rotate it.
Some of those needs a batery to display video
Really? Like a battery inside the computer or what? This DB15 really is some mysterious stuff
I mean inside the Mac, there are some models
That won't display video
If battery is dead
