    Put cotton in a ziplock bag, pour acetone remover in the bag, get a bowl of hot water ( hot as you can take it) put your hand in the bag with the acetone, close the bag as much as possible , lay a towel over that hand. take the bag and lay it in the hot water. nails should fall off in 10 minutes . Move fingers around in the ziplock bag rubbing against the cotton to help agitate the acrylic, or dip powder. This is better , and more healthy than picking it off. Thanks for sharing .

    I’m really not used to having my nails like this haha but this is a great option is your nails are thin/weak, break easy, and you just want them to look better. It was a lot faster than a full set too lol

    Thank you for this! I have had terrible luck with nail technicians, and have begun the journey of doing my own nails. I am curious, if you do acrylic over a short, natural nail like this, can you just keep filling it like a regular acrylic set, and it will allow the nails to grown long? Thanks!

    • @starquatesquates6643
      @starquatesquates6643 Год назад +3

      Yes. This is exactly how I grew my natural nails long. Just don't forget to apply antifungal liquid. It's like protective styling for nails 😊

    • @marielanders4806

      Acrylic doesn't need a base coat. Polygel, hard gel, jelly gel, soak off gel, etc uses a base coat.

    • @marielanders4806

      What dries sticky and matt? The acrylic? It doesn't need a light to dry. It air dries/cures.

      Every single shop I have went since I was in high school I have never seen them grab a new file unless it was dull, I’ve seen multiple people not switch out their bit between clients and all except 2 that I have been to have not really did a “prep” before other than a fast file of the nails. Lol
