- I HOPE to hear how Eric reacted to Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
- A lot of cameos of the original cast.
- A mention of passing of the actress who played the first Laurie and Midge.
- Mention of MASH, Red was in the Korean war, so I would think he would watch it, and I hope he liked it.
Overall, do I think That 90s Show will be better than That 70s Show, nope..but I will get a try i enjoy watching these reboots, as well as references to the original show

And I also don't know how r they going to manage 90's jokes and world views under today's very controlled "appropriate" I really hope they can manage something good, funny, kinda wholesome and not so politically correct .
That's what I was thinking as I was watching the video. I personally don't like to throw the word around much, because it is so grossly overused, but I'm very skeptical about this being too woke for its own good. Being someone who was 18 in 1995, I KNOW exactly how teens of that era acted, and I don't expect this show to pull that off. Like at all.

Yeah that's a perfect description...GenZ's in 90's clothes. I wasn't a teen in 1995 but I was 11 and even younger kids like me were talking all sorts of shit in the 90's that wouldn't fly today. If this show tries to tone that down or otherwise sanitize it so it's more amenable to the Twitter crowd, it's going to be lame as hell. I really hope they don't make the kids all milquetoast to appeal to today's demos, while lazily trotting out Red to be the one person who isn't PC. But I fear that's exactly what they're going to do.

i think the issue is they knew fans hated season 8 and strongly dislike jackie and fez alot of fans say how she can't suddenly go from constantly being racist to him to being with him,

I thought I had watched every episode. Apparently I didn't cause this is the first I heard about her going with Fez. It doesn't make sense as the fez Characters main storyline was failure to connect on that level with the opposite sex, but I never did see how that occurred!

They wanted her to get back with hyde.

Absolutely one of my favorite shows ever! I'm bummed that *Hyde won't be back, but I totally get it. SO happy to see most of the original characters. It will be interesting because I was born in 1970 so this is my generation :)
Even though it's obvious he won't be back, I still wonder if they'll address his absence. I recall that around the end of the previous show, Hyde inherited his father's record store. Maybe he eventually got sent to prison again soon after he took it over.

Me and my grandmother used to watch the show all the time and my grandmother passed away last December so I cannot wait to watch this I remember the episode where Kitty about the Judas Priest album that was my favorite episode because my grandmother used to say Judas Priest all the time and she didn't know it was she didn't know that was a band until that episode

Yeah, that's what I'm worried about as well. Why can't more shows be brave to eschew these modern trends and be proudly anti-woke like Cobra Kai? Of course we have no direct evidence that "90's show" will walk on eggshells, but the fact that we're even talking about it is evidence enough that it's pervasiveness has gone too far. From what I remember of the 90's: Multiculturalism = big yes. But also BIG making fun of everything. Fat jokes, calling people retards, telling people to suck it up. That would have been the perfect chance to bring Hyde and Jackie back together like almost all the original viewers of the show wanted... he was a great character and their dynamic was perfect. It's really terrible what happened so I totally understand that they can't bring back the actor. Still, it's so sad, this show was one of my favorite childhood and teen memories and now it has a weird feeling to it, I couldn't watch it again since I found out about Danny Masterson...

I think it will probably make more sense to you if you did. It sounds like they are mostly going to focus on the new kids so may not be necessary. I really liked it except season 8. If you watch a few episodes and don't like it then you probably won't.

I was hoping more of the new cast would be kids of former cast. Like Kelso's daughter with Brooke and maybe Hyde's kid who similarly to their dad, has no parental figure and lives with one of the other cast.

It’s ironic to me that That 70’s show signed off on a Netflix spin off… yet, Netflix won’t post the original series for people to catch up on. We have to go to peacock. And don’t think you’ll stream it free. I tried that. I paid 1.99 for a streaming service I’m ONLY gonna stream that 70’s show on. (Bc between Hulu Netflix and Amazon prime, everything and I do mean EVERYTHING peacock has to offer (besides it’s originals, which aren’t very good) is streaming elsewhere.)
On a side note, I streamed the chucky series on there, it is really good imo.

I rewatched the whole season recently and i think they could go the prison route with Hyde whoever at the end of the series Hyde owns a record store that his father gave him so they could say that he ended up rich and moved out of point place that maybe wishful thinking but I think them saying he’s in prison would be to easy and a cop out especially since Hyde’s character had so much growth through out the series but will see what happens it sucks that Danny Masterson ruined his career because he was one of my favorite characters 😢
