My biggest pet peeve with Animated was Prowl’s death. I wish the team was given more time together, so it’s established they’ve gotten closer since meeting (especially some kind of maturing arc where Bee and Prowl admit they don’t hate each other. All the bickering was fun but the fact it went nowhere really hurt this part), before it happened because it feels like we’re the only ones who felt genuinely upset when he sacrificed himself. His death feels shoehorned in to gain sad points. Edit: 37:13 the shade at Prime
Here's my biggest pet peeve, remember in the episode where there was a flashback to where Optimus Prime and Sentinel were both face to face with Ultra Magnus wondering what happened with Elita-1? Well Ultra Magnus wrongly suspended Optimus from the academy and blamed him and asked him to leave. To be honest it was mostly Sentinel's fault and that was when the big scuffle between them started.

Fun fact: Japan did a Anime OP and another song for Transformers Animated. The opening is called “Transformers Evo” and the other song is “Praised be to Decepticon” (though the Praised be to Decepticon song never played in the show). Both songs were sung by Jam Project, the same band that did both One Punch Man Openings
damn i never realized HOW MANY GODDAMN PLOT HOLES he endgame episode is. now realizing that Prowl's death was quite literally useless. im gonna FUCKIN-- *sigh* whelp. great video though! I always had some criticisms towards some choices and aspects of TFA episodes, (more personal towards favorites--) but you explained it in a way better more organized way.
A video on the Botcon stories would be cool Especially the one with road rage and metalhawk, it had interesting moments of “lore” and a pretty sentimental (imo at least) at the end
Endgame part 2 does seem kinda messy, but the lack of fanfare isn’t an issue imo. Season 3 seemed to be the point where everything changed and consistently got more grim. Reach Endgame and we begin the big final battle where war doesn’t stop for anything. Starscream dies? Can’t stop now! Prowl dies? Nah Megatron is still coming.
What I personally would find interesting is if like Prime Starscream did took over but there's noise in the background since many Decepticons don't respect Starscream with parts of the faction reluctant to follow him either have an assassination attempt or are looking for Megatron. Hence why it's even more urgent for him to find the All spark and said search does attract the attention of the Autobot Elites.
In defense of the finale, im fairly certain starscreme isnt controlling the supreme clones. Since like you said lugnut had them. Im fairly certain he just had a basic ai tell them to walk into the middle of the city and explode. As for the explosion itself, maybe it was all three bombs combined, not individually, that would have done the damage?
When Mr. Normal Person had a comment question in his video about the autobot sub-factions, and what our sub-faction would be, I basically just included all of the substitute auto bots from this episode in that faction.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one that was put off by Meltdown. There were quite a bit of issues when it comes to breaking into the building with the defenses up as well that ugh it bothers me. Idk if it would've been the worst for me but dang is it one I haven't went back to for years. Maybe I will give it a shot again though now that I'm older. Even skipped it on my rewatch earlier this year
My five favorite episodes will always be: 5. Garbage in, Garbage Out 4. This is Why I Hate Machines 3. Autoboot Camp 2. Five Servos of Doom 1. The Thrill of the Hunt I love every episode. Some are better than others, but none are bad. It's still my favorite show of all time.
@@omarsalem1219 Yeah. He really brought out the best of the show and it's characters. He even brought out plot saying that the protoforms he stole were used by Starscream, and that the access codes Arcee had were for Omega Supreme.
Say what you want about Autoboot Camp, but for 12 year old me who got the Complete Series on DVD, that episode was GAS. Also, Tarn would be in pure ecstasy with those transform-ups,
