- I'm a huge fan of the AT (All Terrain) style of Eskate, and they're usually over $1k. JKING has been heavy with Facebook ads, and this one caught my eye at under $700...with belt drive, airless rubber AT wheels, and even built-in LED lights. I had to know more...and now you will too!
If you're interested in this AT board from JKING, check the link here: bit.ly/tonybjking
If you're in the market for killer lights for your bike, or other activities (estate, helmet, backpack...anything!), check out ShredLights here (Use my code for 10% off: TONYB10):

Hey my guy! Great Review. I bought two of the JKing Jupiter 1 back in March. I just saw this review today. I see that you like using gear 3.. My son and I use Gear 3 or 4 all the time and what i love about the board is that 4th gear is sooooo tourkie. Just lean a bit forward when in 4th and enjoy the acceleration! This thing accelerates quick man! Neways, nice to see your wearing your gear and be safe out there. btw, Great scenery!!
I was pleasantly surprised! Yup, I always wear my gear. After my first crash I immediately got the rest of my gear that I didn’t already have 😜 Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
I love these! You are killing me I want to get into this hobby!
Happy birthday!
So much fun! Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻 and good luck
thanks for the info on the bright light since in denmark you need to have lights at all times that can be seen @ 300 meters (328 yards)
Yea, they’re amazing! Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
Great video, sounds like a hell of a deal for $700
If ya know, ya know 😜 Thanks Laszlo. When you coming to the OBX!
Just ordered a few days ago. Gonna be a long four plus weeks to deliver lol. I’ve own two Onewheels and a 40 mph scooter. This is my first longboard. My goal is to try all PEVs😊
Great goal! My advice is go slow at first. Each board has its own torque and braking characteristics and you need to get used to them before you crank on that throttle. This one the brakes are kinda tight. At least mine was. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
@VaporTrailChannel Very thankful for this advice because I was sure to immediately put it on the highest setting and just go for it lol I'm a speed demon🤣
@VaporTrailChannel Just got my board and man I thank you for your advice. I see what you mean about the jerks. I was on gear 1 and it almost flew from underneath me lol 😆
@@InternetGangster420 😂 now ya see what I was sayin. Enjoy man!
@@VaporTrailChannel Thanks 😊 🤣💕
I have this board but another brand it’s a faboard and it’s a beast that will go through most anything lol
Cool! Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
this thing looks dope lol was considering a one wheel but night have to get one of these instead
My wife says I can't have the OneWheel...but we'll see :-p Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
I have this board, my first esk8 board. If you stop accelerating with the thumb wheel, then you feel a jerk forward. If you want to go uphill from a stop, then you jerk backwards. Still getting the hang of cruising offroad at all. It's definite not ALL terrain. It has tremendous trouble with the deep mushy grass around my neighborhood. It's good for going over fallen leaves, seeds, twigs on a sidewalk. Really hard to turn at sidewalk corners, but nice to carve at around 15 mph on calm neighborhood roads. I ride it for 3 miles sometimes when the weather is nice, not perfectly comfortable but fine. Mostly car culture of my area causes some headaches more than the board.
Cool! Welcome to esk8 man. Yes, all eskates are like that, and some are worse than others. With a belt drive board, as soon as you let off the throttle, the belts will create drag and that's where the jerk comes from. When braking (or decelerating at all), always lean back, and when accelerating, always lean forward. If you're looking for a "true AT" board, you'll need to really step up to something like a Propel mountain board. Very expensive. But these boards with larger wheels will definitely take you through a lot. Check out my videos on the Hurricane and the Atlas for example. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻 And stay safe out there!
I have this exact board as well, I fixed this problem by just loosening my belts a little bit. Just look up how to loosen belts and it’ll make a huge difference
Thanks! I love the review. I just got mine. What do you think of the range? I feel like my battery might be a little weak? But this is my first all terrain board
This board won’t have a huge range. The battery pack area isn’t large enough to have a big battery. And the wheels being larger do cut it down a bit. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
Did you find ways to improve your battery?
Very interesting! I wonder if Jking is the parent company of Dreskar? Dreskar has the same model name for their FT001 - the Jupiter-01 - except the deck isn't lowered and it doesn't have AT wheels.
I should add that everything else down to the LED lighting seems identical to the FT001
There are several that use that under the board configuration you’ll find on Amazon actually. It must be some sort of OEM part they can buy and use for their products? Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
Hey buddy, what one u prefer? This one or the backfireranger x3 ? Thanks man ✌️
Definitely the Backfire, but for value, this is a good buy. Backfire is a more well known company, and easier to deal with for service. However, the specific board you mentioned is a hub drive. This has belt drive and gives you more options for wheels and hubs. Hope that helps!
Here's my take... Yes, torque. Wheels; the desert I live in has many pokey things.... necessary.
It's range is acceptable. It gets me back home from work about 11 miles when the busses aren't around.
My lights haven't worked on mine...not sure if I got one they just weren't hooked together on assembly...
Lost my remote... Found a different remote (from Amazon) at a bus stop and it worked, so that's a decent plus for realistic longevity.
Charging time is pretty decent. It doesn't really take more than about an hour to get 5-8 more miles from about 1/2 charge.
With some finesse, the board doesn't have to 'leap' from take off. That's all in the thumb, but is learned as a matter through practice. I still get a few more jolts that buck me a bit, but I've been able to taper then and they fell less intense.
Also, I've been riding in mode 4 since I got a remote again, so for what it's honestly worth of my opinion, I'd still consider myself wreckless.
Good stuff!
Thank you so much for watching! Yea, it's one of those things that I kept seeing on FB, so I guess that was effective advertising :-p
*Not a bad deal if someone is on a budget and wants to try an AT board*
⚡⚡
Not sure how reliable it is and how much "oomph" it has.
Once you get onto 3rd gear / mode, it’s kickin. But the 1 and 2 are “cruising modes” for sure. Thanks man!
@@VaporTrailChannel they would benefit from switchin to a Hobbywing based ESC. They likely use an older Ling-Yi ESC
@@eBoard3R Yea, for sure. Thanks man!
is the battery going to explode inside my house?
All devices with a lithium Ion battery carry the risk of failure, causing fire. Your phone, headphones (like AirPods, etc), ebikes, eskates, power banks…the list goes on and on. With proper care and charging regimen, it greatly reduces that risk. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
I know it's out of topic but I have a question about your pulse v2. Is it waterproof? Will it survive if I put it in a glass of water? Some say that you can wash it but I am skeptical in doing that because the charging port is exposed and I'm afraid I might damage my mod by doing that..
The Pulse v2 has a waterproof board, so yup! Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
Just make sure that you dry out the USB port before you plug that in, if you ever do at all. Like anything you want to make sure that you dry the mod off after you wash it or get it wet, before you try to use it
@@VaporTrailChannel Your reply made me really happy.. I really appreciate it.. I am happy to get the answer from the creator himself.. Thank you so much! 🙏
@@paulandrewguerrero0603 just make sure it’s a Pulse 2 and says “waterproof PCBA” on the inside of the mod.
@@VaporTrailChannel Yes sir I have that on my v2. 🙂
awesome review but cactises?
Yea, we have tiny little cactuses 🌵 here that like to pop pneumatic tires. Have you watched my more recent review of JKING? It’s the updated version, and it costs the same. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
yw! but i was just confused... isn't it supposed to be "cacti"? and good luck with the channel love the review!:)
@@CJurmom lol 😂 ok, I got you now. While grammar is important, sometimes I do miss a word or two.
its fine and sorry if that was rude my brain was just a bit slow and didn't know if you were talking about ownership, or ya know lol have a nice day bye! :)@@VaporTrailChannel
@@CJurmom not a problem! It’s funny because when I edited this I thought “don’t you mean cacti?” 😂 Once you’re done filming, sometimes ya just let it go
This company is DEAD PERIOD!!! Never respond to their customers! DO NOT BUY!!! Customer service do not exist! Terrible experience!!!
At the time of this review, they were fine. That’s the problem with a lot of eskate companies, it seems that a lot of them end up failing. Hope you can get fixed up!
