RIP to the homie Weezjer Time, wish you could have heard all of Rivers' black room demos. It's an honest reminder to take care of yourself before it's too late to anyone out there, you never know what can happen just months down the line.
I'm guessing this was one of the early demos for Green just by the tone. It has a dreariness to it, but the feeling of getting out that dreariness too.
I honestly think when Rivers was writing Weekend Woman, Rivers came back to this demo and said “How about we use this old B-Side we made in 2000-1 and add onto it”
Best song during green album era. Is this a river's only demo, a pre production band demo or is this a full finsihed band track from the actual green album sessions that never got mastered or whatever and should have been an official b side but rivers chose not to?? When he originally leaked the clip he knew to stop it before the second verse because that was when it got weak But man that intro ,first verse and chorus really is the perfect combination of green album and pinkerton Big mistake trying to rewrite it I actually don't listen to anything after the red album If anybody's hasn't heard the song smokin crack check it out. It is classic Weezer great song just maybe needed a couple lyric changes instead of smokin crack
@@theccarbiter No. Currently listening to all the rivers demos. Disappointed with the small amount of summer 2000 and green demos. Nice to hear the "move it on" bridge, but the complete song is a must

The title Burning Sun is like naming a song "Wet Ocean" but otherwise good song
Rivers recycled this for Weekend Woman
oh shit are you serious
Trevor Sherwood yeah Ric Ocasek suggested he should reuse this melody when they recorded EWBAITE

Yeah dude like why did he have to go and make it more than just chords and vocals. big mistake little man
Little did we know, he's been doing stuff like this since Raditude.

Way better than weekend woman, they downgraded this so much
Nnnnnnnawwwwwt
Weekend woman is a much more fully featured song, but they overproduced it way too much
