Anyone else watching this video listen to me on this. Buy a Redhead steering gear. They are $400 and they are hands down the best. Change it once and done. I’ve heard nothing but bad things and have had 50/50 luck with any other box. The factory ones are $800 (someone was trying to screw you on that $1100 price) for a reason. Redheads are a rebuild but they rebuild them to a company spec that is better in my opinion than any non-factory new box, at least with 6.0 powerstrokes and Duramax’s, which is where my experience ends.
Thoroughbred Diesel out of Kentucky. Great guys, great prices. $356 for the box, $50 for shipping which includes the prepaid label to ship your core back, and $225 for the core charge. www.thoroughbreddiesel.com/2003-gmc-sierra-2500/redhead-2872/?HideOptionsEditButton=True
@Tstan 28 everything has good and bad reviews. And a lot of people that have no business even changing oil try to do a job they can’t handle and mess things up. I personally have a redhead on my GMC LB7 that’s lifted and I love it. Had one on my Ford 6.0 as well. Zero issues.
Your Video was great as far as info, and lighting showing parts and what to do,,, BUT your video MADE ME SO DIZZY, ,,,,,,,,ahhhhhhhh ,,,, next time, put your cell down, in one spot and leave it, OR , if you have to show something, then MOVE THE cell on a stand or something still. I wanted to watch yours ,,,, but could not ,, i was sea sick from all the moving around, constantly. sorry
Do you live somewhere they dont salt the roads because of ice and snow? Thats really common and all surface rust where i live the only non rusty vehicles are brand new. Everything thats been through a couple winters has surface rust underneath.
You need to retitle this video "selfie video of me talking" Not a viable how to video.
I don't know, but Me thinks persistence works. But I don't know, I forget.
