Hi Ramsey, I want to express my sincere appreciation for your incredible inspiration and the invaluable resource you provide. Your work is always amazing, and I am incredibly grateful for all you do. The dedication and effort you put into your videos are truly admirable. You are, for me, like the "PBS of Perfume". BTW Your contributions have had a significant impact on me. Your creative insights and expertise have been instrumental in shaping my own fragrance journey. You have ignited some spark of passion and motivation within me, urging me to explore and discover more. Sending warm greetings from Istanbul,
Very fair words, my friend. This guy is making one of the most complete catalog of very accurate descriptions of hundreds of scents at any audiovisual internet platform. He's now an obligatory reference if you want to educate yourself about fragrances features and history. There are many great reviewers in fragrantica, basenotes, parfumo and here in youtube too who are absolutely valuable and I happily enjoy. But nobody has hundreds of hours of reviews so well explained and organized in comprehensive themes. Thanks again, Ramsey. And go on, please!
What a great year! It was the year I started working in a London department store’s fragrance department! I loved Basala and miss it to this day. Miller Harris’s “Powdered Veil” reminds me of it quite a lot, though it’s been a very long time since I smelled Basala!
Going backwards through your "Year in Perfume videos" 1994 proves to be the extent of my progress in my fragrance journey as in your 1993 video I haven't tried anything in it besides Escada Pour Homme. It's fun and exciting to think about all the great fragrances out there yet to be discovered. I'm looking forward to going deeper in the past through these videos and get a glimpse of what is in store for me. Excellent series!
Wonderful fragrance exploration with relatable impressions. You have quite an impressive collection! When I first got seriously into fragrances (around 2008) Shiseido Basala was often talked about in the fragrance communities. I was lucky to obtain the aftershave first at like $50 for a 5oz bottle. Immediately I was taken by it, enough that I eventually tracked down the EDT... and it is very much stronger than the aftershave. I'm floored by recent auction prices, but it's not enough to make me part with it. Enjoy every drop of yours, Ramsey!
There's no point in smoking joint, but you can check how it goes from your neck. Thank you Ramsey. Both Czech and Slovakia are beautiful countries, with so many beautiful people. As a tourist I will visit again Prague and Bratislava. And about the house of L' artisan Parfumeur, I'll prepare a decant of Mure at Musc extrême (the vintage) for you. Scent Of The Night : Amouage - Dia Man (snap cap bottle). Cheers my friend...
Love Escada my favorite outta that dna plus the bottle is so elegant speaking of bottles just got a 1996 limited flacon of eau d Hermes and what a scent could easily be a signature what clean filth I love it
I love Cristalle EdT, it's one of my favorites fragrances of all time. I can't stand the EdP, for some reason I find it cloying and unpleasant, even though it's similar to the original creation, it lacks the sparkly, romantic quality of the EdT.
@@RamseytheRam I'm not sure you'll like wearing it, but I think you will appreciate it. The opening is stunning and addictive. The drydown is not my favourite, but overall it's a lovely and unique scent.
Hey man I keep commenting but seriously i love your content and i want to share this find i just made. I picked up a bottle of Brooks Brothers 1818 cologne for 5 dollars, a half-full 6 oz bottle. This is some powerful juice and i got it for pennies on the dollar.
You have made some amazing finds lately! Please keep commenting I love seeing the comments you guys leave for me... I have never smelled that Brooks Brothers 1818 but it is on the never ending to sniff list 🐽
I just purchased Ungaro Pour Homme 3 for 20eu, it would be a blind buy! someone just mentioned is like aventus but than with rose, let's see and sniff! cheers
Great video 👏 Guy Laroche Horizon, Aramis New West, Versace Green Jeans... GREEN AQUATICS! Don't you get similarities between Ungaro III and Halston Catalyst?

From the weird vodka note?🤔
I could see that!
Thanks for watching Keith 🍻

Quick question, do the people you work with know about your extensive collection or no?
Some of them do... some are even curious about the daily sent of the day routine 😅
❤ this !
No one wants to watch a perfume review/ranking for more than an hour except perfume nerds. If that is ur target audience then I respect that.

Sometimes vintage
