Dendritic Cells: The Regulators

With macrophages covered, let's move on to another innate immune cell type, dendritic cells. These are able to capture and present antigens to the T cells of the adaptive immune system, prompting a variety of outcomes. Let's take a look at the types of dendritic cells and what they do!

You forgot to go over cDC1 and cDC2 subsets and the function of moDCs you also can add FDCs (follicular dendritic cells) as they are slightly related

I believe the + and - are pronounced "positive" and "Negative" instead of "plus" and "minus".
So CD4+ is prnounced "CD4 Positive" etc...

To my knowledge, Langerhans Cells are no longer considered to be of the Dendritic cell line.

cDCs can also come from the lymphoid lineage too along with the myeloid lineage DCs

Why is macrophages introduced as one cell from a monocyte? Arent there other cells in different tissues in the body that are also macrophages like langerhans cell, mast cell and so forth?
