NICE!! I had a DR650 but sold it. Once I get my dirt bike riding skills up there, I'll rebuy the DR650! This video is really informative for DR650 riders (with upgrades) wanting to learn how to ride in soft sand.....lots of trails have soft sand or soft dirt here in the U.S....falling off the bike, picking it up, and riding in soft sand in general, really drains my stamina.

At a minimum, change the suspension so it works properly then run the tyre pressure at 12 in the front and 10 in the rear them sit back in the bike and ride it like you just stole it . Never slow down with out high revs and don’t use the front brake. When you get a bit more comfortable with that riding style it’s like riding in a boat. . Just get use to the bike swimming around under you
🇦🇺😎👍It’s very important to keep the revs high and the front of the bike up with plentiful momentum. Don’t fight the steering just point it and let the bike work under you. The bike knows where it is going. I’ve ridden through that soft sand in full band full throttle top gear no probs , it’s just a battle in your mind at that stage. What if ?
If I wanted my ass kicked I would just go in the other room and my wife she was looking heavy today!! lol fuck all that sand ....Thanks for the reminder though sometimes I forget that takes the enjoyment out of what should be one of the great things in life....don't stop posting you are obviously a competent and committed rider
