24 cars make the show and about 96 don’t make the show… I was happy the car had speed at times and Joseph got some good laps in. Opportunity to gain experience and the car didn’t get totalled. Keep at it!
I am not sure if anyone else has noticed this but back when the channel was small you guys would pray before the race and it was part of the video. Well you guys would almost always be top 3 if not win whenever it was part of the video. I am aware it was mostly the local track back then but it wouldn’t hurt to make it part of the video again. Thank you guys for the amazing videos. Love the channel
On a steep bank Speedway runing the top line reduces friction and tire wear plus you are never going up hill but you are coming down hill. The 88 car was a good example of this, when he went to the bottom your car pulled away and when he went to the top he ran down hill past you to 2nd.
Well I got FloRacing to watch this race... I thought for being a brand new car with zero time on it? I think you did pretty well... Would have been nice to have a race or 2 on it but hey, you did great
He ran better without the new equipment. It was never the car, it's Joseph and his lack of an actual crew chief who knows how to set the car up. Joseph doesn't drive the style needed to win these races. He drives very safe. He's not aggressive enough and doesn't like his car to get sideways. And he makes adjustments that are detrimental instead of hiring on someone who knows what they're doing. If he changes the way he drives to be just a bit more aggressive, which he's going to HAVE to do running with the super late models. And he gets himself a veteran crew chief that knows how to set the cars up for the power and track. He'll be alright. But he's got to make those changes. I want to see HTF succeed as much as anyone else, but they're never going to make progress unless they make progress. Both as a driver and with the team. He's been running these super late models way too long to still be racing as "soft" as he does in them. And to not have a crew chief yet is a big mistake. I hope they win in the future and will continue to support. But it don't matter how good your car is if you don't have the knowledge or driving style to drive it right.
I did the same. Debated it until 12pm the day of the race and pulled the trigger on it. I already purchased a year subscription to MavTV + and monthly purchase to XR+ as well as a $30 patreon membership monthly so it was a toss up lol. Had to see the new car/ motor debut though. Honestly it was a cheaper purchase for Flo than four days at the track though.

A couple of dudes giving it their all every day, inspired by nothing but passion for dirt and determination to succeed. Solid showing out there, especially with a brand new car.
Something a lot of folks don’t understand about Eldora. I have been following the World 100 since the first one, and have helped on crews at a few of them. This track is unlike any track in the nation, in that it can be different at the end of a 10 lap heat than it was at the start. I know of 2 racers that dominated locally and never made the show at the World 100 in 20 plus tries. Trying to compete on a track this tough and against 120 of the best late models out there, I think HTF did very respectable in this event. It takes time and experience to consistently finish in top 10 to 15 here. Keep digging HTF, you are close. These big events they have now are a product of the competition that the World 100 created.

Water dose drain down. Wild finish!
You guys should do some sick “track only” merch that you guys sell just at the track.
The only thing I can say is I would like to just make it to Eldora great job you got to get the bugs out of that new car and motor then hopefully you guys will be fine thanks for sharing
One tough good driver to make that pass from the top, dang.
New Capital chassis, new Jay Dickens engine. Now just get the set up for all the new equipment and I think you guys will make the show. Hoping for at least a top 10. Keep grinding!!!!
they are good, very good ... but not nearly that good!
Good run guys and my home boy from SC the Little Head Knocker came from no where to steal your spot in the main. Better luck in the Million. Go HTF #10!
I was on the roof in the infield when Ivey got around Joseph and everyone sounded a sigh
I got my subscription to Flo-Racing. I saw Joseph hot lapping with Chase Briscoe. You guys were good enough to get into the race, but did not due a set of unusual circumstances. I thought you had it in the bag. That 88 car was driving out of his mind on that last lap. It will all come together. For having 0 laps on the car, I thought that you guys did well. Looking forward to better results in the Dream. Keep up the great work!
Hey boys great job 👏 HTF for life
Hope the rest the weekend goes better for you.
I remember my dad took a new modified to a race in Texas, everything brand new. The think I remember they did was Assemble everything but loosen everything, they took a few tractors from a farm and shook the car for a hour, they said now the car is broke in and ready to go. They finished 5th.
Strangest story I have ever heard.
it seems like entering the corner jab and punch it! start high squaring off like having a slide job done but not
Joseph, you drove like a winner in the last heat but damn, what a hella smooth move by the 88 car.
I know right? That one blew me away because I saw him coming. Great job to both guys.
Good job htf you guys did an awesome job
randalljames is right on target about the racing. Off the throttle a fraction of a second too soon and on the throttle a fraction too late. I have been around racing and have been hooked ever since I saw my first race in 1952 when I was 8. I have been to every NASCAR track, Indy 500 a bunch of times the Detroit Grand Prix so l have seen and heard a lot of racing and did drag racing as well.
Get. On it and stay on it and don't race "not to wreck" but to win. I like HTF, bought MARC and. Want them to win.
Ivey did a good job of not showing he was up top. It was a nice move.
next year run the classic! extra track time is unbeaten
Here's the thing yes it sucks but hey its more experience also a big Congratulations to davenport on wining
I have a request. Can we get a great big HTF sticker for the top of the car? Everybody else has cool stuff on the top. Rock and Roll!! Thanks for the video!
Love this channel and all you guy's!! Even y'all in the comments!! Great community!! Miss dirt track racing!! Just did the Amsoil champion off road racing. You and everyone else should go check that out please. Hope everyone is having a great weekend and stay blessed
Neighbor probably thought i was about to have a heart attack yelling at my TV watching that heat LOL
