I may never be able to afford Pat McGrath's makeup from her Lab line, but it is a tremendous feeling for me to know that her mother Jean, who Pat credits with having trained her and started her on her career path, was both Jamaican and one of Jehovah's Witnesses [at the same time]. Pat herself has no doubt been inspirational to many MUAs.
Lorbeth Donhar I splurged once on a MatteTrance lipstick for my MUA kit and it is honestly perfect. I have never in my life seen a matte lipstick with so much pigment that it only took one application to have full coverage. Splurge on at least one to add to your collection. It is money well spent and you’ll be supporting sister Pat! :)
WOW! I agree with all the comments below me. This "reporter" was rude and disrespectful. Mrs. McGrath has earn her place as a make-up artist, and she called her a regular backstage?? Horrible! This video definitely should be take down.

so let me get this straight...the clumpy gross looking eyelashes that every single mascara brand tries to advertise themselves for NOT having..is now in fashion?...I thought the whole point of mascara was to make you look like you have naturally long thick eyelashes...since when did makeup application that looks like a 12 yr old did it become "genius" and beautiful?
