I get it Devon - it took me a long back and forth to be done with it but once you are done God will acknowledge it and give you tools to work through it. Don’t give up, His mercies are new every day, He is so gracious to us that our mind cannot even grasp, it should move us to give it all up for Him and guess what ? He is going to replace it with something better! ❤

I have evaluated many women in your position, let me say I have never seen anyone as authentic, deep, and real as you.(And I'm sure you have never heard this before but but you look like Kate Winslet LOL) Your transparency is truly remarkable and I commend you for it. I myself am in recovery, and I have lost both my mother and brother to it. One thing I realized is there is no such outreach on RUclips regarding such a topic from a christ-centered female point of view. Maybe you might consider making more such videos on the topic. I am very proud of your progress and I hope it continues for you. All of the female ministries but I have evaluated are all from the south. Everyone says y'all. Therefore what a pleasure it was to see a fellow New Englander, I could sense your accent right away. You're a New Yorker like me!! What are pleasure it has been listening to your testimony, there is a strength in you that I have rarely seen. My drinking is changing who I am, used to be...and I don't want to go down that lonely road again. So today I saw your video. and I was very inspired and was very encouraged. Sometimes I get so ashamed, because I have been down this road of destruction in my younger years, and now I am in my 50's and for the last 6 years, I have slowly jumped back into the lifestyle I left. I quit going to church, I have become so ashamed of what I been doing. anyways, I don't want to go thru that rabbit hole again. So I ordered the book via Kindle. Please, will you keep me in your prayers. I'm glad I found you.

Pray, read, draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. That is His word and He will not let you down. ive been sober from pot for about 20 years. I dont ever want to go back to it. like it scares me to ever be that person and also its bad for your health like you said. But sometimes i try to remember what it felt like because i used to find it like magically incredible. I cant even really remember at all anymore. I just remember that it was "magical" thats it. Oh well im happy i experienced it and was able to stop it without staying addicted to it for the rest of my life. I hope you never go back to yours either and have a happy healthy life.

When I went back to drinking after God was helping me get sober early 2023 I remember it felt so gross and depressing, nothing like the magical laughter and fun I used to experience. How you do with your husband? I'm divorced from the 2nd marriage, before turned into a Believer, 2018, and I love to be alone. I'm alone since 2019, and for one hand I would love to get married again, but I started asking the Lord, if is His will! I never had a drinking problem, I have a food problem, and the Lord just took me away the pleasure of drinking, wine in particularly. I rarely drink. But food is the issue...
I pray that you rely on Jesus for the strength to overcome that, anything can become a craving I get it. I do well with my husband lol, I have to post that story because I prayed for him in advance and would have been fine alone I am very independent but God sent me a man that was very compatible and I praise God daily for it. A little update testimony , Roomie has applied to go to a christian rehab called Transformations for 12 months which I feel is totally of God. The other day we were shopping and she was going to shove makeup down her top, i said no, we will pay for it, if you want the blessings of God. She also has to come up with $700 to enroll into rehab and she said she would be a stripper for a week to raise the money.😂 i said no , God will provide ( she could have been joking but would probably do that ). All I am doing is keep loving where she is at, showing her that you can enjoy life naturally , ie Beach or going Rollerskating. The other night I was trying to show her Responsible Christian Fruit tingles Cocktails, but by the 3rd one , the vodka was all gone lol. Shes a lovely girl, shes been through a lot but Gods hand is on her life. I will try and find that book so she can read it in Rehab. Love ya Sarah, perhaps one day we can be roomies 😂❤

people never figure out where willingness comes from. and it is a shame. maybe this will spark some interest in at least one person. we are a useless blob without willingness. so how do we get the willingness to make a change?
