Also, the word "less" implies a better alternative since "less" literally means "a smaller amount of" or "not as much as". Still enjoying and still having fun with something that is less than perfect is also called the ability to compromise... and that's a pretty positive trait in a human being. Makes life a heck of a lot easier to handle without having constant breakdowns every time something doesn't go exactly your way 😉 Now, should I feel bad for still being able to have fun with a game that is less than perfect? There is absolutely no intellectual incongruence or integrity lost in recognizing the faults yet still being able to enjoy what is there. Not everything in life is black and white you know. I wasn't talking trash about Plarium in my post. I simply stated my hope that the awesome team behind Fateless would pick up some valuable lessons from the mistakes that Plarium has made over the years. Zero "mental gymnastics" needed. The only thing that surprises me is that long term players can still be surprised when Plarium does again the same kinds of things that they've always done.

Completely agree, unlimited packs to buy is very unhealthy, it just creates such a huge disparity between the people playing and spending huge amounts and all the rest - if you could buy 3-5 packs max then that would have been much better
Non spenders cant really compete in pvp at the moment anyway man, dont act like this will completely change everything lol. I like to look at it like a nice bonus and ignore anything that involves spending
that's how gotcha games work. whales that can spend money win over people who don't spend. putting a limit on it is not a good corporate advice tbh. they make more money this way and believe it or not
Theres no point in putting a cap on the packs because even if each option is a 1/1 deal, the person that grabs one of each pack spending 200$ per rotation is still going to be MILES beyond any f2p anyways

Got burnt the only time I spent on prism crystals. Learned my lesson. Jewels are a hard pass for me. It's like you said system could be cool, but it isn't. they plariumed it up. If you can save over time that's better hopefully they dint force you to pull because this pool isn't even slightly interesting

There is no mercy system for prism stuff afaik so its really not what you want to whale on
If we could earn these and the prism shards, it would be great. I would definitely try to earn them in game during events, if that was the case. I got a 6* Inquisitor Shamael this morning. I don't have him, but I'll hang onto this.
But you can earn the prism shards? I'm pretty sure that I got 30 from the Sand Devil tournament and 30 from the Fire Knight tournament...

Heya HH, the reason they chose level 42 is that is the level the Altar of Souls opens initially. I can see the gulf between Whales and krakens widening, nevermind the gap between whales and normal players. F2P players are screwed, as per usual! Cheers buddy, Celestar!

In another video you were talking about adding extra rewards for iron twins. I think that it would be cool if they added a chance to earn some of these at the end of iron twins. It goes along with what the dungeon already drops, and would definitely be motivating me to use more keys every day.

I spent $50. While I did get mostly upgrades for all the souls I ended up getting, which is a good thing, I also got 9 epics + 1 rare. Zero legendaries, aside from the 1 freebie pull they gave me, which was a 3-star salad, which I already had. So I like what I got, but I could have done without.

If it follows prism shards you can generally "earn" 1-2 pulls per event.
I like Saph's breakdown. Its net positive for every account as they are essentially improved immortal soulstones. Will the gulf between Kraken and normal player widen, maybe, but no f2p is competing against Krakens anyways. Watching Drocks live arena videos taught me thay much.

I pulled the free one and got a 6* Geo. Don't know if I should upgrade my 5* Geo or my 3* Geo...but what I do know is, IM SURELY NOT FEEDING INTO PLARIUM'S POCKETS NO MORE! This is really getting out of hand and like you said, they just keep widening the gap within the playerbase! It's gotten so bad that I've literally gone back to playing Destiny 2 more often because I'm starting to get sick of Plarium's greedy! This is a Free To Try game not Free To Play! And I say that because if you stay F2P, you miss out on a lot of things because they don't truly give the resources for players to do everything. Plus, the constant shoving of FOMO in our faces is despicable! I used to love Raid and now it's just a game I play to pass time and all I do is my dailies and Minotaur farming because I'm done running myself ragged or contemplating if I'm going to spend! I'M SO DONE WITH PLARIUM! Just going to build my roster and if I get good things, without spending (haha like that'll happen), then that's my luck. Otherwise, honestly......I'm about to join Chosen and so many before him, and quit Raid!
You can earn prism shards in some tournaments so they probably will add it at some point.

I got a 5-star awakening for my Georgid. Hope this helps me with Tag Arena bc I'm struggling in GOLD I. I'm not buying these prisms but thanks for the freebie, Plarium. Not a fan of Plarium auto-pulling so I can try saving and hoarding my prisms.

It should as claiming fragment champs and past prism shard events counted for CVC. Souls should be the same way.
The rares being a 5-6 and not a 3-6 i thought was a nice touch. I got a 6 star Dilgol out of it. A 5 or 6 star rare with phantom tough can actually be pretty valuable
I wonder if the wish list counts for this event. I have Nekmo on my wish list, is he then 8x on the prism soulstones?
I got a 5 star for 1 of my Shamaels. Also there IS a way to hoard your prism shards. So I assume these will work the same. If you win some prism shards DO NOT claim them. After the event ends they'll go to your inbox. You can keep them in your inbox for up to 3 months. So hopefully these will be the same.
Are you sure, they will stay in inbox for 99 days? Because when I do this with Personal CVC stuff, it is in inbox for 6 days only.
@@pavelmlynar20926 days is longer than any prism event we've ever had so the method would still work for skipping whatever prism event is active at that time only. Idk if it's 6 days or 99 though as I've never done it.
I pulled Krixia last primal shard 2x and I was thinking about waiting but realized it pulls automatically so i went for it bagged me a 5* cold heart not too shabby

My main question is... what do you do with higher level soul coins... is the only use to get a higher level soul stone? or is it worth more than regular coins, and can be used at the merchant?
If you're asking about "Eternal Soul Essence" it's used in the Soul Merchant to purchase 5-6* souls
The cost is stupidly high for legendaries, so you typically want to save them for very strong Epics like Seer/Whisper, etc
Or endgame rares among the likes of Coldheart
@@Draven316 Thank you! Yeah, i've been playing for over two years... never got any souls more than 3 stars sold at the merchant for me! It just felt like a total waste, for an item I couldn't use! But i've been up-ing my hydra game, so maybe I will get to use these eventually!
@@BaeAmore Souls are pretty game changing, even for epics/some rares.
I'd personally keep all the good ones, as you will likely pull them eventually (as you never want to feed epics, unless they're dupes)
As in endgame dungeons, awakening levels reduce damage taken via bosses passive
But if you don't mind me asking, if you've been playing over 2+ years and likely not doing high level twins

The summon pool is also too wide, if you already have summoned a lot of perfect soul there is a good chance to obtain one you already have. But i guess that they did it this way because if the first is too narrow it wouldn't attract as much people.
Got a 4-Star Dark Kael...pretty happy with that as I had no soul for him.
Worth noting it also doesn't look like the wishlist is working on this pool either, so getting what you want is still next to nil.
it's such a massive pool, maybe 10 meta champs for pvp

Pretty sure the 20% for a lego and this limited pool is a way higher chance than a wish list and sadly I think these are even a better price point for the odds than normal shards if we're talking purely for spending.
This is of course assuming what you want is in the pool.
I don't think it matters all that much that the divide between krakens and non-krakens increases. I understand why it will bother whales who are keen on competing for top placements in the arena, but for the vast majority of players it won't have any negative impact. There may even be positive effects whenever Plarium increases their revenue.
Anyway, pulled my free prism jewel and got a 6* Tormin, so perhaps that's why I'm so positive about it.

Well this most likely is a case of ABC customers. A customers make the smallest amount but are usually responsible for more than 80% of the profit (in general companies, not even necessarily gotcha games or games at all). You learn in business school that you need to treat them in a special way. And part of that is beeing in contact with them. I am curiouse if this was even the idea of plarium themselves or if A customers forced them to do it
Why does nobody talk about the fact you can save your prism shard pulls. If you can handle not clicking on the red dot until a soul chase/ champ chase you can then click on the summon pool tab and it will auto summon at that point and get you some points. Welcome to wait shadow legends.

A friend told me that I could buy higher quality games for $60 that would take me months to complete meanwhile that much money in Raid will give you a few minutes. Never spent on Raid for a year and a half now 😊

The resource is a good idea. Now they need to put them in as rewards sometimes. There's often filler rewards in events like silver or level 4 or below glyphs. No one needs 5 level 3 attack glyphs. People want silver, but 100-200K isn't it...

Pulled an 6* soul for Warmaiden, it's not much, but will help in Secret Rooms
I'm now making spending decisions based on guaranteed vs gambling. The times I've spent and immediately regretted it are when I am gambling. Whereas, with guaranteed I at least know what I am getting. I'm also not spending on souls (even guaranteed). As overheard on an MTGJedi stream...you're now paying twice for the same champion.
It's most likely gonna be 50 you can get from events in total. So 1 free from shop and 1 from events.

Maybe it's just me but HH seems like he is really just fed up overall with Raid/Plarium. He feels very ready to just fully move on and enjoy doing this again. I'm excited for that for him and the team.
I've been playing for almost as long and have put a lot of time and money into this game and I'm fed up with them too. They could make a Raid II, electric boogaloo sequal and I wouldn't touch it. Never playing anything this company makes again

If us players give Plarium the numbers, then the experiment (see similar experiment, 20 sacreds for Elva...) will be successful, hence the story will go on.

there is no need for mythical souls to be in the pool, they have higher chances to come out from normal stones anyway.
at least that's what i assume from the fact that i have 34 souls for legendaries i don't have (i have a total of 19 leggos) out of hundreds there are in the game, and 6 souls for mythicals (i don't have any mythical) out of 16 currently in the game.
Has the same problem, younger to be able to earn 3-4summons through events . Fine with letting the krakens spend thousands on souls , but there should be a way for a normal player to attain these .
at this point they could just as well sell Champs and Blessings directly for cash!
They actually would by the way, its certainly not "morals" or "business ethics" that hold them back, its just that directly selling is LESS PROFITABLE!

They need 2 seperate ftp & krakens. They already target u if u spend any money so the separation is there already.
Just consider the gap growth you mentioned between a heavy spender like yourself vs a kraken, increase that gap by an order of magnitude for a player like me. Makes me wonder why I would even bother investing any more time into the game, really.

The issue is the unlimited packs. They've stopped pretending they care anymore, so now anybody who wants to drop 5K, 10K, whatever... can gain more power in a single day than most of us gain in a year. It's not healthy for the game at all.

"High-end players using 3 mythicals" was funny hearing, the past few days every time I refresh Tag Team Arena they offer the same opponent to me, guy with Wight King and Queen and TEN MYTHICALS, three of them +1 empowerment. FIVE 6-star souls, THREE 5-star souls. King and Queen have 1-star and 3-star respectively, 2 Mythicals non-souled.
Insanity. Their player level isn't even 100

its half of your calculated chances... for the second seperate roll you need to do 100%/2...the consecutivity in the rolls lowers the chance by their ammount
