Hi all, correction on Den Royal Chip at the end. It does not have a fragrant, I got confused with C. Summer Spot X B nodosa which is right next to Royal Chip by the window outside. Sorry about that confusion.
Hi Kim, I can’t believe that it’s almost a year since you rescued the orchids from William’s collection. How time flies! Also, I love seeing everything about your vegetables and how you utilise the backyard so well. We used to live on acreage and were able to grow a lot of food, but have downsized to a retirement village and I really miss all that. Thanks for showing us your chicks and sharing an interesting video.
So many interesting things shared in this video. I like the creative and effective way you grow your vegetables and your orchids. The tomato cages are wonderful, so useful in many ways. We don't have them here, unfortunately. We usually grow our tomatoes upwards a long stick or canes which we have plenty. Amazing having peaches already. Mine won't be ripe before August. Going to Singapore, what wonderful news !!! Lovely blooms. Loddigesii is just wonderful. Mine is still a very young plant but it has one bud. Their way of growing is just like that, they are not exactly keikis although all the aerial roots they get are not easy to maintain. Your turtles are huge, they are adorable ❤❤❤
Thank you Fernanda! My second peach tree which is a different variety has just started to bloom. I guess this one will not have fruit til August. I am new to all this so I am so glad that it’s just a coincidence that I will have offset fruits to enjoy later.
Just found your video by accident. You are a great gardener and orchid grower. I'm really impressed by your orchids. Your plants are great. I live in BC canada so while we can grow outside for a few weeks in summer, we have to bring all orchids inside for several months. Anyway, I loved your video and look forward to more.
I feel like I have finally been more productive in the garden this year than last because of the gain in understanding hand pollination. I also have more healthy plants because I am using more giant containers as sort of raised beds. Thanks for stopping by.
Congratulations on your 1k subscribers! Great update on your plans and pets! Love the those little chickens and the turtles are adorable! I like your collection, those lovely specimens of cattleyas! Love the Royal micro chip that you said is scented! What is the smell like?
Hi Mary, thank you for all the compliments. When I saw your question about the scent for Royal Chip, I realized that I made a mistake, it does not have a scent and I was confused having C. Summer Spot x B nosoda next to it. So no scent, sorry about that. Let me fix that on a comment and thank you for catching that.
