- Went out with my buddy Alex on a 1.5hr shallow dive at La Jolla cove in San Diego, California. The conditions were very good and 10-15 foot visibility. Light surge made the dive relaxing. Lots of sea life to be seen in the cove. Hope you enjoy.
Crazy to think one of the most violent White Shark attacks happened right there off of Alligator Head in 1959. I always thought about that while exploring the cove between 17-18. Socal is White Shark country, you accept that every time in those waters and in 2017 it was booming. Nice video.
I am just savoring the bejeezus out of it D.D. ! It's probably been near 40 years since I dived the caves of the coves to film Humboldt squid spawning . Fun but messy business. Buddy had contracted to evaluate light bars and cams for Nikon ;>) Thanks so much for this !;>)

What up!! Dude life is busy busy right now and the video making takes a lot of time. 5 and 7 year olds draining the life out of me 😂. I wish I did have my camera with me most times. Seems like every time I go out I’m finding something good. Hopefully soon though. It is a fun process.

Charles Wilder thanks👍🏻 yes the fish are garibaldi. I went driving and detecting there 2 days ago and found a nice dive light for a go pro. I wish I would have filmed it because it was a good time. The garibaldi love me there detecting because I stir up the sand and the get lunch 😂

Dude, WTH you went diving without your CTX? Great vid but no CTX.... Do you plan on taking it down one day. I wish I could dive. Soooo many places to try with my CTX past all the folks detecting on the shore and waist deep... HH Gold Fever Pete
HAHAHAHA. totally. once i got down there i was bumped i didn't take it. I do have a fisher CZ21 but its getting repaired and i should be getting my new hand held detector this monday. Im gonna record the next dives when I'm actually detecting and searching this area. Thanks for commenting Gold Fever Pete 👍🏻

Ed The Beach Hunter what up! dude my fisher cz21 shorted out! It's in for repair. One of the screws unscrewed itself and was dancing all over the circuit board 😡. It's gonna be a good spot though! Lots of area to search. It's gonna take a lot of dives to cover it all. I should be getting it back soon and gonna give it another shot

Ed The Beach Hunter will do. I'm under the weather right now so I have time to watch RUclips all day long 🤧. Catalina is incredible, the visibility is insane. Love it there. Next year for sure 👍🏻
