1987年にジャレコよりアーケードでリリースされた『サイキック5』をリメイク。本作は、広大な迷路を探索しながら捕まった仲間を救出し、魔王を倒すことが目的のアクションゲームです。浮遊感のあるジャンプアクションが特徴で、操作キャラクターには、女の子からお爺さんまで5人のサイキックが登場します。今作では、原作で馴染み深い縦画面のアーケードモードにくわえて、16：9のワイド画面モードや分割画面での2人同時プレイモードも実装。また、グラフィックはリファインしたバージョンとクラシックスタイルを切り替えが可能です。さらに、原作のサウンドを手掛けた作曲者・坂本慎一氏による新アレンジ音源が楽しめます。
This is a remake of Psychic 5, a game released in 1987 on arcades. This game is an action game and your goal is to save your friends in a vast maze kept by the Demon King. Your jumps are floaty and you can play 5 different characters, from a little girl to an old gramp. It features an arcade mode with the old vertical screen, but also a brand new 16:9 screen ratio and a 2 player mode - in which 2 players share the screen. And that's not all: you can switch between the old graphics and new ones made for this new title. As for the soundtrack, new arrangements were done by Shinichi Sakamoto, the original composer of the arcade version.

I truly hope there's a chance to get a reworked version of Esper Bouken Tai [エスパ冒険隊] even as a DLC. On Famicom it was too hard, but the "Psychic5-vania" mechanics were super cool:)

After taking the time to watch this trailer I'm actually excited for this release. I was initially worried about how they would handle the conversion from a tate orientation to widescreen but now we can see that the new aspect ratio expands the field of view rather than reduces it. I'll definitely get it even if it remains Switch exclusive, but I'd definitely prefer a PS4 release.

まさかジャレコのあの怪作がリメイクされるとは。
自機はボンジャックに似たジャンプをしますが、開発にテーカン出身のスタッフが関わっていたようですね。
このゲームをリメイクしたいという人がいたということが現在でもいたというのが驚きです(笑)。

1987년에 나온 오락실 게임으로 그 당시 상당한 인기가 있었죠. 처음에는 모자를 쓴 꼬마 한 명으로 시작해서 스테이지를 진행하면서 기본캐릭터 남자아이/여자아이 외 뚱땡이, 키다리, 할아버지까지 5명의 초능력자를 골라서 사탄과 싸우는 게임이지.
