i peaked at rank 33 in 1v1 ranked mode for this game back when it was close to it's peak population. overall a very good list but i have some minor disagreements. *waveforce artillery* is a *B,* they're certainly the best land-based artillery unit. but they're just so risky, as you pointed out, like all the land-based artillery. ultimately the biggest issue is that they have to compete with the *shogun battleship,* (should've gone with your gut, these bad-boys are absolutely *A* tier). the shogun is well-armored and quite fast _for an artillery unit._ and it has the second-best range to boot. all this combined with their special ability lets them pretty easily handle the occasional counter-unit, especially if your micro is better than your opponent's (you can charge over terror drones & tanya's, for example). additionally, i'd much rather spend the time upgrading a production structure to tier 3 at the docks, it means i can spend more war-factory time building tengus. finally, it's the empire's trump-card, they've got the punch that all artillery units offer, in a package that can be reasonably relied upon to not get "sniped" by your opponent (that is to say, they're fairly forgiving for the empire player). if you can't figure how to break a stalemate, build a shogun. if you're behind and _need_ to start trading _insanely_ cost-effectively, build a shogun. if you're ahead and need to end the game before your opponent can recuperate, build a shogun. Next up, i'd say *yuriko* is *C* tier _at best._ she's powerful, but like all commandos is pretty risky. her problem lies in the empire's tech-up system, which makes her riskier than either tanya or natahsa. you need to dedicate a barracks to getting upgraded to tier 3, despite the fact that it's an pitifully fragile structure, and furthermore, the only other infantry units you'll ever want to build are tier-1. all so you can field 1 yuriko at a time. it's just not worth it. *sudden transport* belongs in *D* tier alongside the near-equally useless shinobi. sudden transports are for multiplayer matches, which i'm not really evaluating here. *sea/sky-wings* are grossly underrated and belong in *B* tier for sure, maybe A. they're WAY faster & better armored than VXs, they _SHRED_ the usual anti-air people will have built to counter tengus+VXs. they might not be able to destroy high-armor structures like con-yards or refineries, but they can get in and out so much faster and safer that they'll reliably be able to put your opponent on low-power in situations where VXs would still be waiting for an opening. alternatively, they can quickly perform strikes on soft-targets like artillery, commandos, or engineers that put vindicators to shame. and finally, if you go for a tier 2 docks, then you can leave your war factory at tier 1 for dedicated tengu production and still have access to tsunami tanks. i see alot of empire players build a second war factory to alleviate this issue, but war-factories cost twice as much as docks do. not to mention, having a tier-2 docks sitting around means it's that much faster/easier to access shoguns in the late-game. a quick note on *king oni's,* i think *C* tier is correct, but i just wanted to say that they are _not_ countered by artillery. apocs are countered by artillery, they're slow and have a large hitbox. oni's are fast and have a much smaller hitbox. but beyond that, they do require more support than apocs or even mirage tanks to work as effectively. and i want to bump the *naginata* to C tier, but i think *D* is probably correct, i'm just really accustomed to having a tier 2 docks lying around, so the occasional naginata usually shows up in my game when the situation calls for it and they tend to perform well enough.

Nanocore is op as it can crush soldiers. If u let it move in front of enemy's dojo, it can crush a lot of units. U can try dojo core rush, it is very fun.( I only talk about casual playing)
Let’s be honest, the entire faction is S tier. Every single unit is extremely broken. There’s a good reason people only pick Japan in Uprising challenges. The reason Imperial players may sometimes lose matches is solely because they start getting very cocky.
Do you even play online? People use Empire in Uprising commander's challenge because the goal isn't to simply win - Going multiple Dojos or high-structure damage VXs are the best ways to beat an AI opponent under par time.
I have been playing not so long and I don't understand how to counter Allies who starts with airfield....If I make a lot of tangus, they make 4-5(or even more) appolos and it looks impossible, 'cause I cannot control air and build new refs etc. I'm closed at my base because of that and that is the end. What shall I(Empire) do?
If you scout early airfield, build a turret near one of your refineries and deploy mecha bay there as well. This lets you react to a potential cryo rush and prevents Apollo camping. You will catch up on Tengus numbers while stalling them with dojo’s sent into their base. If they went for 4-5 Apollos, just land the Tengus and start tier 2 upgrade. Get lots of warriors and maybe move MCV for another ref at the same time. If they invested that much into Apollos, they’d be pretty passive on the ground. Once you have 3-5 VX’s, go back to producing Tengus and combo the two to harass their base. You could even camp their airfield with VX’s while Tengus shoot down their harvesters.
Actually, it is most likely the case for Both languages having it developed seperately: "Yuri" in the Russian languages appears to be a borrowing from the ancient greek language, approximately from "grigoris" or sth. Which sound similar with the meaning of "peasant". After some morphologigal changes of consonants and vocals it became "Yuri" - a Russian first name. The Japanese "Yuri" ,according to my extent of the Japanese language, is a *native* Term which usually means "Lily", preferrably in Japanese female names, the character for "Ko" means "child" and is often used for females. Note that Japanese is a language with a quite little amount of syllables compared to other ones such as Russian, German or even Chinese. Therefore a two-syllable word such as "YU-RI" would almost unavoidably form. This is why there are quite many homonyms as well in Japanese and thus "yuri" means errr. also Something different. 02:43 Is Yuriko capable of attacking Shogun Executioner? Yes it's percentage damage but I don't think Yuriko attacks even if you ctrl it to.
She cannot in Uprising but she can in the core game
Rocket angels are really fun for comstomping though
This one easily has the best theme.
well for sea wing is really bad, but they can be usefull abaot defending battleships or oder ships.
@@xyhc-cnc thank man, I'll try
Also, get Tsunami tanks as well. They do pretty well as long as you have VX’s protecting them
@@xyhc-cnc That's what I usually try to do)
wheres shogun executioner
Campaign exclusive units not included
what song did you use
I think the WFA actually do some penetration splash damage......tho that rarely even happens lol
yeah mentioned that they strike through buildings. Could be pretty useful.
do you use f1 f2 etc for hotkeys or do u rebind them?
I use them on a gaming mouse
Why no DLC units? I was really interested in how the melee robots would fair.
I really hate those bastards, both empire and allies have a viable tank while the soviets didnt even tho theyre the land army faction
@@tacotony3274 soviets got insane early rush units tho
When the term "Yuri" literaily means lesbian in japanese
Yuriko?
Hmmm...
@@Logicon1138 lily means 百合in kanji, but 百合 can be translated to yuri, and yuri, um you get it
@@Logicon1138 also note that lily also means 蓮, although i don't know much about it's inner meaning
@@Logicon1138 yea, we aren't here to judge

Where is the archer ?
Is "Yuri" A Japanese or Russian name.
(The most recent question in my head)
*If Yuri is Yuriko's Father*
Good RA2 Reference, Mate.
2 Psionic monsters.
Soviet Union yeah I made a theory video on Yuriko being Yuri’s daughter.
Therefore a two-syllable word such as "YU-RI"
would almost unavoidably form.
This is why there are quite many homonyms as well in Japanese and thus "yuri" means errr. also Something different.
Я думаю, что это помощь для тебя.
@@Beleidigen-ist-Pflicht yes, i know for the Russian one but thanks for the Japanese version. and, Yuri (The one you don't wanna talk about) is Girl on Girl
Oh yeah just remembered. The tattoo Yuri has on his forehead is “Yuri” in Hebrew. Except the makeup artist & character designer spelled it backwards. (Hebrew should go from right to left) I knew that because I learned Hebrew many years ago.
yuri is pure russian and yuriko is pure japanese so HOW
Is it possible to make the same video, but about units from Uprising?
It is done
Tsunami tank has less damage then other main battle tank but they has higher attack speed.

It’s funny that almost none of the t3 units are viable lmao
Engineer should be S! Why? If you mass engineer and attack enemy base, they won’t be able to kill all of them and their base will be captured for you to sell it!
What kind of idiots do you play against that doesn't counter this with 2 bears/dogs?

rocket angles are really really weak
But not en masse. Try using a DOZEN of them v's basically anything except reapers bullfrogs or hydrofoils. And you WILL WIN.
@@MarkSmith-tv6cp but most of the time they will die
PS - Are you ready for me?!!
@@MarkSmith-tv6cp lets say enemy has apollo which one would win 4 apollo vs 10 rocket angels
@@Smirving Not if you micro-manage them properly. Use 2 or 3 to whip down the enemy and avoid turrets etc. They take down both units and structures amazingly quickly. You can win v's Brutal when off line Skirmish with just these alone. The only thing I don't like is they DO have to be looked after (Once fully promoted they heal of course.) and there quite expensive. But can be way more effective then Yuriko imo.
