- I took a quick trip to Brooklyn, New York and decided to do a social experiment in the Jewish community and asked them their opinions on what's happening in Palestine. I had a lot of people that ignored me but there was some Jews that gave me hope that humanity still exists. My intention was not to bother anyone, but just to get their opinions. As a muslim judging from the video, i feel like the people who are avoiding the question either felt extremely embarassed being on camera, doesnt have full knowledge about the conflict, or simply just have no opinion, it should be a good idea to just be respectful and leave them alone instead of pursuing them if they sincerely do not wanna answer the question my brother. Also these are jewish community that doesnt have access to internet social medias and just use old phones and still reading newspapers, not israelis

It's not right to ask random Jews on the street what they think about Israel and Palestine. It has nothing to do with them. It just feels like you're singling them out for being Jewish.
Jews should not have to answer for Israel's actions, just like how Muslims should not have to answer for ISIS, Taliban, etc. That's why most people ignored you, they do not owe you an answer. I also think these types of actions are harmful to the Palestinian cause since it portrays us in a bad light.

You can't isolate yourself inside the country in which you live - you can't let the world go on without your influence. I have meditated on it and came up with the answer, it may not be our way, but we live here - I'm reminded of the pollution of the river Ganges in India. It's toxic, they wash in it ritually and nobody has done anything about it. That's what to expect. I used to think otherwise, but too much of that is dangerous to the community.

Bro these Jews are not living in Israel so they are not Israeli's. Israeli and Jew is the not the same. I have been to Israel and have met alot of Arab Israelis and even Muslim Arab Israeli's living in peace. Reality is not how it looks in the media. Well, in past demonstrations, there were a group of orthodoxy’s who stood along side and demonstrated against the occupation, by standing side by side with the flags and everything. The creator of this video thought this community was a part of that and thus thought he would’ve gotten that kind of response. But in fact, what he got in return was avoidant behavior almost like a child. I mean, the guy sitting on the bench was completely ignoring. Like, be an adult and just turn to him say, “I wish not to speak about this matter with you while filming me.” That’s pretty shameful bevhior. How would you feel about random Muslims being approached and asked to explain or justify what is happening in Yemen or Saudi Arabia? Are American Muslims responsible for what is happening with Al qaeda, in Pakistan or any other conflict in the world involving Muslims? Random Jews (including women and kids) are being punched on the street for things happening in Israel. The people in the neighborhood are looking out for themselves because the cops can't be counted on to avoid that kind of violence.

So if Israel says: We have now conquered Palastine and the international community (Let's say G20) by consensus recognizes the whole land as Israel, then it is Israel. Today, it's about 50/50, no consensus at all that everything is Israel. A big part of the land is considered Israel and a smaller part Palastine. That's just the facts regardless what you want believe or what I recognize as Palastine.

I worked with a orthodox hasidic business in Midwood Brooklyn well over 10 years ago and the boss had a Palestinian and Israeli flag both hanging in his office. The staff was very diverse(orthodox, latino, black, asian) and different religions. I was surprised but he was a very open minded well traveled individual.

Ask groups of Arabs, Muslims or pro Palestinian supporters what they think about Israel or the topic and they'd be very radical and extreme in their beliefs. Not a single Jew here was actually disrespectful or saying death to Palestine or any of that sort. Almost all of these Jews are disconnected with the outside world. They do not know much what's happening in Israel neither do they care. They didn't even know what's happening in Ukraine which has one of the biggest Jewish communities in Europe and some of the most important Jewish traditions came from Ukraine. Also, these are ultra religious Jews whom most do not believe moving to Israel until the Messiah comes and so most of them probably do not support Jews being in Israel neither do care what's happening. Bro, just asking people questions & trying to communicate with them is not harassment.
