I don't agree with tremors being inaras worst talent. The ability to have 2 walls is invaluable. It's her best talent and is most certainly a serious competitive option. Oppression is an excellent talent and very fun to play and it's effective.
@@fracturedsolace145 I'd say all of her 3 talents are viable, I personally like treacherous ground the least since I'm more one of those Inaras whose goal is just to survive on point forever so Mother's Grace is my go to option for maps like brightsmarch where the point is accessed via gates (already extra walls standing) and tremors for frog isle and similar maps where I have to build my house myself
corvus stun is the best talent imo. you can solo flanks instead of running away and you make everyone have to buy resilience. without it I feel too vulnerable
For any Furia players reading this now: Solar Blessing is Furia's new best medic Talent. Walking through the beam heals your target(s) for 2,250 over 1.5s. Standing still only refreshes that 1.5s duration. This allows you to offer massive heals to multiple targets and even through walls as long as you tap them with the beam. Plus you keep Kindle Soul to heal another target. Cherish only offers ~500 bonus healing and you can only heal 1 target per 3s.
Admittedly, same. Just watched some of the showcase stuff for Paladins, but it's really because of Andrew Chicken that I'm kinda wanting to get back. I think I'm more excited to play Paladins rn than I actually will be when the new update comes out for regular players...but that may be a bit of a stretch, since I am curious what Payload, the mode I have seen many ppl clamor for, has to offer.
I think it would have been beneficial as a viewer to have the talent text on screen. I am an avid paladins player, but if you are newer to the game it might be hard to keep up. Great content though! Love your videos.
Rereading Lian's talent "precision" I think the shots don't have to be consecutive. Meaning, you can miss your target, but if you hit them 5 times out of 10 you still get the full buff. I've tested with it and it might still be the lowest ranking talent, but it's actually pretty fun to play.
Talus' Faustain Bargain is actually one of my favorite talents and builds to play, if you run max speed on rune travel build. You get a base 40% speed increase, and you can zoom across the map with ease as well as have the crazy sustain Talus has with his other cards. It is not as bad a throw pick as everybody thinks, though inner strength is better in most situations.
6:45 i use that talent, i always use it, and no one has ever said "why are u using that", in fact, it really benefits my teams bc i cover 2 big flank spots which give us time to plan another strategy
Drogoz doesn't really have a bad talent, each one has a use in a niche scenario. But I'll probably say that Wyrm jets is the most niched between them. Usable against a team with projectiles or short-range attacks but gets hard bodied by anyone with hit scan, and there's no shortage of hit scan in the game with more to probably to come. Which is a shame, it's really fun flying around with a jetpack.
@@kickpaw Really? Maybe you haven't played with it enough then. It increases the vertical speed of his passive boost. It is a nice chunk of speed, but at the same time, a lot of his mobility is tied to his loadout cards, so Wyrm jets is not always needed to achieve functional mobility. Wyrm jets might also increase the distance you get from thrusting while using passive boost, but I'm not one hundred percent sure.
I know this is controversial, but I personally find WYRM jets to be Drogoz' worst talent because it doesn't increase his DPS, gets countered by Movement Speed and puts him in a vulnerable position. I personally am a Fusi player on open and a Combustible player on closed maps
@@sylvesterfyre4167 but the Drogoz'chance to catch you is the same- also I like the aggressive Thrust-Reset Fusi build for open maps and the annoying combustible spam build for ice mines and matchup dependant on jaguar falls as well
All 3 of bucks talent are great, different playstyles. I always went for the net talent, but im trying leap playstyle, cause its good to know different plays.
I really like the recent uploads, a nice change from just stream highlights. 💙 The worst talent for pip is probably Catalyst simply because it doesn't give you the massive healing potential the rest of his talents provide.
My fav champ is Andro and I think his worst talent is Defiant Fist right now. That talent actually was better with the fast shooting revolver because you could burst people down in close range really fast but ever since they made Cursed Revolver built in, that only hurt this talent
It can still be used IMO. For example: if you wanted to flank a seris or any other champ with an escape ability, which would save them, you can quickly hit them with your fist, that will finish them off instantly once you already hit them 2-3 times. but thats kinda it
@@sandiegochristian-l2t Level 90 means nothing these days. There are people with level 150 champs who have only ever played that champ in bot games. Hurl doesn't proc caut, and in matches with actual players you need caut, and you need mobility because you can't just sit back and lob softballs towards the point and stack kills while the bot support heals a whopping 10k in the whole game. Abyss Spike and Scuttle both allow for better zoning which is what Dredge is all about.
Hello, funny dredge main here and I'd like to respectfully disagree with the talent choice here. Personally I'd say scuttle is his worst talent. Both abyss spike and hurl can do 1600 burst (and more with AS) by comboing the nades and harpoon, this means the one reason you'd pick scuttle can be done with the other talents anyway. Plus the reload projectile also doesnt apply caut and good dredge plays will be using both the nades and harpoon with hurl meaning you're still applying caut. Thank you for listening to my TedTalk
I'm gonna assume "Predatory Instincts" is Tib's worst talent, seeing as you completely overlooked this one, and the fact you've got nothing to add to his kit.
Nice video Andrew. I agree to almost everything but hurl. I play a lot od hurl dredge and i have to say that it is so helpful! I think the worst for dredge is scuttle.
Solar blessing idea: reduce the healing by 50% (this value should def be tested and adjusted as needed) and make it home/follow nearby allies but remove the stun
I love the video as always Andrew but you're wrong about Rei. Applying 100% antiheal to an enemy for 3 seconds is too strong in the early game to discount it as frivolous. Not to mention allies remain linked for a short duration after getting out of line of sight, or even remain linked from behind a barrier. Focus is way worse imo because Rei relies on the flexibility of linking to allies and enemies for survival and ult gen, which is effectively removed with Focus. Lower uptime on spirit link also means lower ult generation for the team as a whole too. And, although this is a technicality, Focus should provide 3x the 30% additional healing from chain heal to linked allies, but it doesn't.
On long range maps I would say the spear throwing talent on dredge can be quite helpfull against players who are really really difficult to hit with the main weapon, and snipers that get you far away.
@@rainersustinkins8377 yes as a drogoz main I experienced that quite often- the harpoon slow can be annoying too if the enemy team is coordinating well
I disagree with lians shield on Khan. Combined with 30% regeneration from cards plus the 120 from the talent itself, it helps you to be on point while tanking hard on KoH. You will not convince me otherwise. For TDM I would agree with rapid bullets . (Khan lv 50++++)
I think it's just as bad as void grip, one is countered by resi 3 and the other by wrecker + u never point tank khan unless playing casually or all other tanks r banned.
@@timurtheking still beg to differ. Wins that I have over Losing is huge specially if you know how to use him. But most people are brain dead and just put shield 24/7. The regeneration is insane and greater than fernando which I main him too. Plus the cards that use is for point tank which is very viable.
I love stunning visage for corvus. His tp can be a little faulty, but I can consistently pump out ~2200 damage in a short amount of time with it. If I notice a flank sneaking up on me fast enough I can stun, shoot, tp, and wipe out that flank before they can do more harm to me.
So, summerising, you did a decent job but missed couple of talents by a mile :) No problem. I'm still a HUGE fan of you and seing how you grow and learn the conundrums and curiosities of every champion is very interesting. No worries that you didn't get everything this time, you will learn more and more in time!
I'm surprised you didn't rip into Rei's Focus. Also my most played champion is Talus and with Inner Strength not being a full reset on his Overcharge, I never choose that talent anymore. Faustian Bargain is good with movement cards and nimble, making him extremely quick, and on the other hand with Nothing Personal, to me, it turns his ult into a potential execution considering you can see enemy health bars, so if you see someone is low enough but they're getting out of the battle, you can pop your ult and finish them off.
I DEVASTATE enemies with Slug Shot, it's my favourite Ash talent. People always bitch about it, than I say "wait and see ;)" and at the end of the match they say sorry to me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I'm killing everyone with this talent, especially air champions, people are so surprised when I do that... drogoz is nothing, willow is trash, even learned to get evie. I always have the most dmg, the most kill and be a good tank at the same time.
Honestly I still feel like Restraint is better than Extension for Rei. Extension is supposed to be her main “healing” talent but I barely feel the range increase, and it doesn’t increase healing at all. Restraint at least provides utility early game and makes rejuvenate do worse. (That means caut is a counter for healing, and reju counters that counter, and restraint is a counter to a counter for a counter)
As a Moji main, yes, I agree Snack attack is pretty weak against the other two talents (wich are not great at all, but you still need to choose between a weak option or a weaker one) Maybe if it was rework into a mini health pack that comes out the enemie with each magic mark detonated, and jump a bit into Moji's direction so it's easier to get them But instead of healing 900, they heal a 40% of the damage you do with the magic mark (so it's more viable to go for full marks instaed of 7 or 8 marks only)
I would say that Extension is Reis worst talent. Yes Restrained isnt good because it lost its value and you need to use a high CD defensive skill on an enemy to make use of it however Extension straight up nerfs your heal. it doesnt even have more initial range its just more bounce range which means your heals might need more time to reach someone. First of all Rei is a very offensive Support that shouldnt just sit in the backline and only use her healing skill and second, if u pick Restrained while not even using its effect you are at least not nerfing yourself.
Good picks. My only disagreement would be with Buck, since Buck is mostly a counterflank, thus Bulk Up is the best at that. The DR and extra health is so impactful that sometimes you just win by that. I'd say the least impactful is the net one, since it suffers a similar problem as Over the Moon with Evie. With Haven you'll end up needing 3+ shots or at lest a headshot, which is also true without the talent. Still, same as Evie, his 3 talents are worth it and an argument can be made for any of them. Good video EDIT: I don't agree at all with Hurl being Dredge worst talent, that was a horrible take hahaha. It's realistically his only viable talent in high elo. You're not going spam against GM, much less the harpoon sticking talent which is his real worse, since it's only helpful if you're not paying attention.
I’ve been using crackshot (strix) so much. Yes the headshot removal is annoying but crackshot allows to know exactly where the person is and where they’re heading. I use this to predict the shots and to hit them early before they change cover
Some talent fixes: Ripened Gourd: Now also doubles gourd damage (it‘s intended to help on point fights and doubling the damage actually lets it do that) Tib talent i can’t even name: replaces your F with Ult left click Ash Slug shot: add back the 10% damage increase it used to have (it still isn’t bad by any means, but that would help) Nessa: Just give us the headshot talent back ffs, oppression will never be balanced, either it sucks or it’s broken Atlas Unstable fissure: Right click now has 2 charges Could definitely work on some details but this took literally 2 minutes so cut me some slack lol
i dont think the headshot talent is healthy at all, like 1 shot and it almost deplete all the hp of 1 champion, and nessa can connect a uncharge shot quickly
Man, I used to play casually in this game all the time, but I moved to overwatch 2 while it’s popular now. However, I really miss the card system, characters / design and the aesthetic of paladins. I’m sure I’ll return soon. I just wish Hi Rez wasn’t so ass. Thanks for the content Andrew, I still watch your videos even though I don’t play.
As a Drogoz main I would argue that the worst talent for him is actually fusilade as it's only worth picking when the map isn't that big and there are two or more tanks in the enemy team. In close cuarters, combustible reings supreme as it allows you not only to do progresive dmg, but to repell and confuse enemies. This really serves you well when remembering that Drogoz is fat and isn't that fast, allowing for great escapes on tight situations. It also helps with revealing enemies and with point fights, deployables also suffer from this talent. With a great build, combustible really shines and allows you to spam 1800 dmg in an instant, combined with a single rocket hit to detonate the spit before it reaches the enemy, you have a hughe burst. In open spaces WYRM Jets rule and I think no one would argue otherwise, the hability to play as a flank with such powerful character really is something else (Lord Helvian will forgive me one day).
I was a Drogoz main for the longest(abt lvl 150). Fusillade and Combustible are tied. Wyrm jets is super fun, but bad. You're drawing attention to urself and with the right builds, ull get to places u would get to with Fusi and Comb anyways. the only difference being, it's a lil harder but can always be done and the latter 2 give damage boost. Comb is good in tighter maps with a lotta breaking points. Fusi is better in maps with a lotta tight sight maps (so u can just keep spamming little openings and make hundreds of kills (Also u can oneshot some champions with Fusi+firespit combo, just sayin)
I actually main Hurl like sure it doesnt caut but i main use it to deal snipers and long range target that are pretty much also far from their healers. Plus missing with the harpoon it too crippling for me if i miss and it goes into cooldown.
Actually Prep Skye is much better than youd think. The 3 second window of DR Stealth allows for tanking initial burst, such as Makoa hook combo or Sha arrow. Even thought Skye in PC is still hot garbo, and Stealth is often janky to use, Prep Skye still has a much better use than S&D, and can replace Debilitate depending on enemy comp
I'm pretty sure that the duration on invis card still works with the talent. I think it's kinda bad at base (not as bad as healer Skye tho), but with an exploitive build it can still become horrible to play into on controller.
Great vid, again! love forgefire Barik in the right circumstance. If you are playing Nando into forgefire, just get bulldozer; so I usually don't play it into Nando or other area dmg. Throwing ults more often has advantages, though; kind of like snowglobe Evie. Thanks
if you play around it well, mega potion can be good imo. i don't really like shooting my teammates instead of fighting, and i don't mean that i don't like characters that are like mercy or the medic where you have to kind of focus on them a bit, but imo mega potion strikes a better balance between damage pip and medic pip than combat medic.
I'm a Willo main and I mainly use scorn, what's bad about it? Having an overall increase of 1750 damage on 1 attack along with builds that allow you to reset its cooldown the more hits you get with it really helps with tank busting, even on more mobile tanks due to its decreased explosion time
As someone who enjoys Caspian I think its got some heft is his worst talent, I NEVER use the gun without playing MC but I tried IGSH and I didn't like it, I find EaO way more fun because the sword has good dmg anyways and adding stacks to his movement ability actually makes using it for dmg useful. I do agree with all other champions tho, great video.
Agreed with every entry except for Dredge's. Hurl actually provides the safest playstyle out of his three talents. The removal of its slow is a fair tradeoff because it is spammable and offers Dredge a long range option for dealing damage. The argument that it doesn't apply caut doesn't really make sense here because it's not meant to replace his normal weapon fire. Good Dredge players will cycle through using the Harpoon and the normal weapon fire depending on the distance of the enemy. You can still do good with Hurl even if you select it at situations where his other talents would be ideally better. Can't say the same for Scuttle, which is useless in long-range fights, and Abyss Spike, which is rather comp/map dependent.
I feel like Its got some Heft is Caspian worse talent. You can make everywhere at once work in most scenarios bc you have a way to engage and build stacks. This is especially better with the buff his movement ability got. While the talent does boost your damage the drawback out weighs the benefit since the biggest struggle is maintaining stacks to do reliable burst damage. Five stacks feels like you're playing with 3.5 stacks and the range buff doesn't do much for him either. It's more so used when you need a squishy REALLT dead but the other talents get that done fine enough.
surely deep roots is great for proc-ing the cards that use on hit for his right click, since it hits multiple enemies? i've found it's great for refreshing his heal burst if you fire it into a group of enemies
I am kinda disagree with smolder being zhin worst talent, that talent provide so much survivability with the right build and timing. while I love using Yomi because it can dished out so much damage with the third strike but it really doesn't feel much different than his regular strikes, but after I switch to smolder zhin become more deadly as a flanker that can escape easily but also heal you enough to find a place to hide and make a comeback.
As a Jenos/Maeve main, the only use for Binary Star is when the enemy team has multiple Champions that can immediately counter Power Cos (ie: BK, Evie, etc) And if you are not the only healer. And even then, not the best As I said, I'm a Maeve/Jenos main, and I 100% agree with the Maeve take, if I had to rank Maeve's talents I'd say 1:Cat Burglar, 2: Rouges Gambit, 3: Street Justice (although, I did get my most Kills in a single game with Street Justice, it was against 4 tanks) When I play Zhin I have always used, and will always use Smolder because I feel as if Guillotine takes too long to use and it isn't good until Morale Boost kicks in and I see how people say Yomi is better but I just don't think so, sure the extra damage is nice, however how often will you get a kill with that before you need to billow away? In my experience, not often Ripend Gourd is the best Mal'Damba Healing Talent for solo healing, just look at the numbers. Skye's Preparation is SO MUCH WORSE than S&D because at least S&D has a use unlike Preparation. A buddy of mine would kill you for what you said about his favorite talent in the game being the worst for Barik (although he also loves Flux on Ruckus) What does Impulse do with Cassie agian? FLANKNANDO BEST NANDO I'm sure you get a lot of people saying negative things about the Viktor take, frankly, I'd take Cardio over Shrapnel any day of the week Ying is a tough one to say solely because of the fact that Focusing Lense is harder to use I know this was a long comment, but had to post my takes on this
nah, the damba best healing talent, even solo heal, still spirit chosen, in a normal match, most of the time, people wont stick in 1 place for gourd except point tank, and rippen gourd make his RMB healing is completely trash
Andrew im not mad or upset but your wrong about bomb king and his talent... thats literally the best one. Even with resilience it's still amazing. The extra explosion radius is the one that's terrible. Promise
With over 300 hours of experience and over 200 levels on Bomb King, I'm sorry but that's just wrong. Royal Subjects provides many benefits, with the most obvious being that it makes it easier to hit your bombs. Even if your aim is good, this still provides immense utility when up against mobile champions like Evie, and it also provides more damage when hitting an enemy without a direct stick. However, the greater benefit for experienced players such as myself is the cover denial this talent provides. With proper timing, you can hit people behind corners, and you can hit Khan, Fernando, Ash, etc. behind their shield by detonating directly above and behind it. This cannot be countered as easily as Accelerant; in fact against a good Bomb King the enemies can't really do anything about it besides just kill Bomb King or utilize careful positioning and long range. The cover denial and more reliable damage of this talent outweighs an easily countered stun when fighting squishy champions and some tanks. Chain Reaction also provides more use than Accelerant. Accelerant provides 800 damage and a stun much more reliably, but resilience makes the stun moot and the bomb can also only be used once every 12s (or faster with the right cards). Chain Reaction can be used all the time and provides much more damage, provided you can aim. In some niche circumstances, it can take a three-shot on a squishy champion down to a two-shot, but this is admittedly rare. Where this talent really shines is in tank-busting, because it's one of the best tank melting talents in the game. You'll find far better results at taking on tanks with this talent than with Accelerant. In summary, both talents are far more difficult for the enemies to counter than Accelerant, while also providing more benefits. Accelerant can still work as a functioning playstyle, but it is far less effective than the other two options and is even less effective against skilled opponents.
Haven't watched the video yet, I'm guessing for Talus it'll be Faustian bargain. I've come around on it and I think it's not that bad. Having permanent speed on someone with little movement is really nice and it removes the problem of being shackled to your initial rune placement. Plus being able to always have rune in case you don't need to use it means you can get the bonus without wasting it. The biggest problem with the talent is that you need the speed card at least a 3, but it's a card I'm already going to be using anyway.
I do agree EaO is probably Caspian's worst talent, but is ONLY marginally worse than IGSH. Even then, I can see argument for either. Seriously, the movement ability is not even a problem anymore.
I agree with almost everything you said, I disagreed with Rei and restraint being her worst, and I forgot the other lmao but for Rei I unironically think her chain heal talent is her worst, it just makes the heal take longer to go on cooldown and makes her do less healing overall, with restraint you can more easily win 1v1s to keep yourself alive and I’m an avid focus main heal user, so lemme know your thoughts about that if you’d like 😊
Grohk is my go to anytime i decide to play paladins. On siege style maps I'll use the healing staff with extra ammo perks, cp I'll use the third healing totem with totem buff perks, tdm I'll use the extra dmg with ammo perks. Grohk is amazingly well rounded.
I use unerring and i see it allow me to hit a shot even when nimble is in play. I noticed it against a ground maeve being helpful. You can wiff a shot only to get it strike. The 5 unit explosion provides little use but has netted me kills when they group up. Vatus cooldowns are really low either way. Plus if i need them faster chronos is right there.
I wouldn't say SB is the worst, but rather Exterminate. SB gets the huge benefit of being able to manually stop it. SB has: really big heals in a short duration, base damage of beam is kind of high, deny an area and/or entrance since you can manually stop it, even if the enemy gets resi your beam can still heal. Exterminate has: really high beam damage, stays on enemy automatically, becomes useless when they buy resilience SB is the hybrid talent since it can do both roles in a effective way without having to really sacrifice healing or damage
this talent was better before when it was stop when it hit allies cuz rn u need abetter vision when using it behind a wall to help ur team i wish they can add both options for this talent manually stop it and auto stop when hit allies
Skye’s Preparation talent is disgusting, it turns her ONLY approach tool into an escape option which doesn’t make sense for a flank who’s kit is mainly about persisting- especially with cards like “Healing vapors” that give INSANE amounts of self-healing, and on a cooldown that’s can be reset with poison bolts, which would synergies greatly with debilitate, which is why that’s her ONLY viable talent, I think preparation should be nerfed to 30% DR and made into base kit
She isn't even my most played champ, but both times I've stopped playing Paladins was when Skye got talent nerfs. First when they removed/consolidated talents and she lost her dmg bombs, then again after heal bombs saw a significant nerf. I haven't come back, but it's good to know she still isn't interesting 😬.
I was surprised by Koga, Mal'Damba, Maeve, and maybe a few others. I had been thinking that those were in contention for the best talents, but maybe that is more when you are facing newbies. Or maybe I used newbie logic.
As a Sha main, i need to say, i disagree with you calling The silence his worst talent. I mean, i see how you got there, but sha lin is about burst, and not dps. Even tho silence is really situational, it is really good against his hardest counters, like really aggressive tanks, for example ash, ruckus, azaan or khan. It does force you to run a specific card tho, so you can get at least 3 planted shots, even in resil 3
for corvus it depends if you can use it well or not as im a corvus main ive gained the ability to use stunning visage in some of the best ways like stunning 3/5 people and my team kilking them
I dont think Lilith's Cursed Accord is a bad talent and not because its literally the best of the 3. It reduced all the costs of your abilities by a hefty chunk and makes it where you can use them more often without worrying if you're gonna be on life support really soon. its extremely helpful in making sure you have enough health left to make an escape if you're getting jumped in the backlines. I think this is just your lilith hater side showing andrew. But yes her dps talent is a dps loss rather than in increase.
didnt really understand wich was the worst talent for Fernando (but personally i dont like the new formidable bc i used the old one to play when there was no healer on the team wich saved me soo many matches)
resonance can be a flat=out murder machine, but the skill cap required to use it well will forever keep it in the low-tier category. talent is top shelf for min/maxxers.
I always play direct current with Torvald, it's not just what I'm used to it's the most useful for myself and my team. Flying targets? Got it, they're outta the air. Someone Trying to escape after a failed flank? No problem, they aren't escaping.

Same for ash, slug shot isn’t bad at all
Dunno why but I cant feel the impact of playing with WYRM. It's just the same as non-WYRM
@@thegreatdraco3923 I didn't feel any boost, maybe it's because I expected more horizontal mobility
Yess, more of this video types please andrew. They’re very useful especially for a player who just came back from like a 2yr break from this game.
I know this is controversial, but I personally find WYRM jets to be Drogoz' worst talent because it doesn't increase his DPS, gets countered by Movement Speed and puts him in a vulnerable position. I personally am a Fusi player on open and a Combustible player on closed maps
wyrm is good if you know how to abuse maps thats why lol
@@timurtheking IK I got an infinite flight build:^) the thing is that his other 2 talents are even stronger IMO
As a a drogoz main since 2019 i agree.
It's super good against projectiles, if I play Evie I know the chance of me hitting a Drogoz is close to 0
@@sylvesterfyre4167 but the Drogoz'chance to catch you is the same- also I like the aggressive Thrust-Reset Fusi build for open maps and the annoying combustible spam build for ice mines and matchup dependant on jaguar falls as well
I’m a buck player I honestly think bulk up is the most reliable survivability he has access to i personally hate the leap talent
same
All 3 of bucks talent are great, different playstyles. I always went for the net talent, but im trying leap playstyle, cause its good to know different plays.
I really like the recent uploads, a nice change from just stream highlights. 💙
The worst talent for pip is probably Catalyst simply because it doesn't give you the massive healing potential the rest of his talents provide.
As someone with terrible aim with his potion launcher, I agree.
My fav champ is Andro and I think his worst talent is Defiant Fist right now. That talent actually was better with the fast shooting revolver because you could burst people down in close range really fast but ever since they made Cursed Revolver built in, that only hurt this talent
It can still be used IMO. For example: if you wanted to flank a seris or any other champ with an escape ability, which would save them, you can quickly hit them with your fist, that will finish them off instantly once you already hit them 2-3 times. but thats kinda it
Hurl is actually the best talent for dredge
exactly
Hurl on paper maybe "crutch", but with the healing and ammo on hit, it becomes a must have
@@sandiegochristian-l2t Level 90 means nothing these days.
I'm gonna assume "Predatory Instincts" is Tib's worst talent, seeing as you completely overlooked this one, and the fact you've got nothing to add to his kit.
i use cumbustible as a main drogoz talen LMAO.Nice Vid. :)
Nice video Andrew.
I agree to almost everything but hurl. I play a lot od hurl dredge and i have to say that it is so helpful! I think the worst for dredge is scuttle.
I remember back in the old days when smolder zhin used to heal like 50% max hp, and u could just chain kills bc u had infinite health😂. Good times
Solar blessing idea: reduce the healing by 50% (this value should def be tested and adjusted as needed) and make it home/follow nearby allies but remove the stun
The problem would be it following a full hp ally rather than a hurt ally. Good idea though
@@SethKolbePrefect I would say home on the ally with the lowest HP by percentage but god knows the team wouldn't code that in
@@Randomness662 yeah they easily could but we know they’d probably if anything make it run away from teammates 🤣
Amazing video like always !! here early again, thanks for making so many informative videos, Love watching them a ton keep it up!
Against drogoz as well
@@rainersustinkins8377 yes as a drogoz main I experienced that quite often- the harpoon slow can be annoying too if the enemy team is coordinating well
I disagree with lians shield on Khan.
I use falstion bargain with talus combined with the speed boost when his teleporter is out to just constantly be running around like I'm on crack
Great Idea on the new videos im not even playing paladins at the moment but ill watch this!
Damn this video made me realize that I've been using most of the champions' worst talents :(
Honestly I still feel like Restraint is better than Extension for Rei.
I thought I was the only one noticing that the cat only has 2 talents hahaahahaha.
I can almost hear Helvian Reeee-ing and foaming at the mouth for saying Wyrm Jets is good
As a Moji main, yes, I agree
Snack attack is pretty weak against the other two talents (wich are not great at all, but you still need to choose between a weak option or a weaker one)
Maybe if it was rework into a mini health pack that comes out the enemie with each magic mark detonated, and jump a bit into Moji's direction so it's easier to get them
But instead of healing 900, they heal a 40% of the damage you do with the magic mark (so it's more viable to go for full marks instaed of 7 or 8 marks only)
10:17 that pounce tho
Can you please do a guide on the items you buy with credits, sometimes I don't know what will actually help me more than others.
"Comfirming kills is what really matters"
Yep. Perfectly describing the stupidity of this player base.
You care more about KDA than the objective.
Good video
EDIT: I don't agree at all with Hurl being Dredge worst talent, that was a horrible take hahaha. It's realistically his only viable talent in high elo. You're not going spam against GM, much less the harpoon sticking talent which is his real worse, since it's only helpful if you're not paying attention.
1:11 I think slugshot is the worst but the reason people play it is for it's consistency. It's either 400 or 0 no inbetween
I’ve been using crackshot (strix) so much. Yes the headshot removal is annoying but crackshot allows to know exactly where the person is and where they’re heading. I use this to predict the shots and to hit them early before they change cover
Some talent fixes:
Ripened Gourd: Now also doubles gourd damage (it‘s intended to help on point fights and doubling the damage actually lets it do that)
Tib talent i can’t even name: replaces your F with Ult left click
Ash Slug shot: add back the 10% damage increase it used to have (it still isn’t bad by any means, but that would help)
Nessa: Just give us the headshot talent back ffs, oppression will never be balanced, either it sucks or it’s broken
Atlas Unstable fissure: Right click now has 2 charges
Could definitely work on some details but this took literally 2 minutes so cut me some slack lol
i dont think the headshot talent is healthy at all, like 1 shot and it almost deplete all the hp of 1 champion, and nessa can connect a uncharge shot quickly
@@assassinshadow2800 Considering the vet rework and all the unnecessary nerfs nessa got since it should be fine ngl
Honestly I don't think hurl is the worst talent at all. I think it's the best tbh as I see every Dredge GM onetrick playing hurl only
As a Drogoz main I would argue that the worst talent for him is actually fusilade as it's only worth picking when the map isn't that big and there are two or more tanks in the enemy team.
After saying that Cardio is the worst Viktor's talent the moment when I couldn't secure kill as Andro against this running soldier came to my mind
You gotta forgive Andrew, he just can't get good with the champ.
As a Lilith main I agree so much . I believe that they should at least add one talent that doesn't nerf any part of her kit
i will never stop playing ripened gourd
Solar blessing used to be a very reliable talent really, Which is why it was very disappointing when it got nerfed...
Love these tips and guides even tho I played for 3 years xD
I feel like Its got some Heft is Caspian worse talent. You can make everywhere at once work in most scenarios bc you have a way to engage and build stacks. This is especially better with the buff his movement ability got. While the talent does boost your damage the drawback out weighs the benefit since the biggest struggle is maintaining stacks to do reliable burst damage. Five stacks feels like you're playing with 3.5 stacks and the range buff doesn't do much for him either. It's more so used when you need a squishy REALLT dead but the other talents get that done fine enough.
Kinessa mine spam however is really good at killing flanks since it adds essentiallly a guarenteed 400dps to whatever you are hitting as well
surely deep roots is great for proc-ing the cards that use on hit for his right click, since it hits multiple enemies? i've found it's great for refreshing his heal burst if you fire it into a group of enemies
I love how I agree with everything.
I hate tremors inara as my teammate
As a Jenos/Maeve main, the only use for Binary Star is when the enemy team has multiple Champions that can immediately counter Power Cos (ie: BK, Evie, etc) And if you are not the only healer. And even then, not the best
As I said, I'm a Maeve/Jenos main, and I 100% agree with the Maeve take, if I had to rank Maeve's talents I'd say 1:Cat Burglar, 2: Rouges Gambit, 3: Street Justice (although, I did get my most Kills in a single game with Street Justice, it was against 4 tanks)
When I play Zhin I have always used, and will always use Smolder because I feel as if Guillotine takes too long to use and it isn't good until Morale Boost kicks in and I see how people say Yomi is better but I just don't think so, sure the extra damage is nice, however how often will you get a kill with that before you need to billow away? In my experience, not often
Ripend Gourd is the best Mal'Damba Healing Talent for solo healing, just look at the numbers.
Skye's Preparation is SO MUCH WORSE than S&D because at least S&D has a use unlike Preparation.
A buddy of mine would kill you for what you said about his favorite talent in the game being the worst for Barik (although he also loves Flux on Ruckus)
What does Impulse do with Cassie agian?
FLANKNANDO BEST NANDO
I'm sure you get a lot of people saying negative things about the Viktor take, frankly, I'd take Cardio over Shrapnel any day of the week
Ying is a tough one to say solely because of the fact that Focusing Lense is harder to use
I know this was a long comment, but had to post my takes on this
nah, the damba best healing talent, even solo heal, still spirit chosen, in a normal match, most of the time, people wont stick in 1 place for gourd except point tank, and rippen gourd make his RMB healing is completely trash
Accelerant can still work as a functioning playstyle, but it is far less effective than the other two options and is even less effective against skilled opponents.
convinced he made this video purely to talk about binary star
I reckon guillotine is zhins worst talent because his ult leaves him vulnerable and all it takes is dr to counter it at max hp
I Love How Andrew Was Sweating The Most With Evie. ^_^
I've been playing this game completely wrong. Thanks for the vid
It’s funny that Lillith is the only champion who needs a damage reduction to use her healing talent, that shows how scary she could be.
I do agree EaO is probably Caspian's worst talent, but is ONLY marginally worse than IGSH. Even then, I can see argument for either. Seriously, the movement ability is not even a problem anymore.
I think that display of force for Octavia is the funniest talent to play
Exterminate has: really high beam damage, stays on enemy automatically, becomes useless when they buy resilience
SB is the hybrid talent since it can do both roles in a effective way without having to really sacrifice healing or damage
Yea but the skill ceiling is at least tripled for SB to be somewhat effective as her other talents
this talent was better before when it was stop when it hit allies cuz rn u need abetter vision when using it behind a wall to help ur team
i wish they can add both options for this talent manually stop it and auto stop when hit allies
Skye’s Preparation talent is disgusting, it turns her ONLY approach tool into an escape option which doesn’t make sense for a flank who’s kit is mainly about persisting- especially with cards like “Healing vapors” that give INSANE amounts of self-healing, and on a cooldown that’s can be reset with poison bolts, which would synergies greatly with debilitate, which is why that’s her ONLY viable talent, I think preparation should be nerfed to 30% DR and made into base kit
you knew what you were doing with that thumbnail lol.
I learned something new and also a different outlook on things
Imo Barik's tinkerin talent is worse than Forgefire. It's much better for point fight phase, and you have your off tank for push phase.
No.
She isn't even my most played champ, but both times I've stopped playing Paladins was when Skye got talent nerfs. First when they removed/consolidated talents and she lost her dmg bombs, then again after heal bombs saw a significant nerf. I haven't come back, but it's good to know she still isn't interesting 😬.
old news but she is now
preparation got reworked to be good and she now has 2 smoke bombs base kit
Quality video!!!
Nice thumbnail Andrew 😂
didnt really understand wich was the worst talent for Fernando (but personally i dont like the new formidable bc i used the old one to play when there was no healer on the team wich saved me soo many matches)
so we just gonna ignore that amazing cut when he was talking about maeve ?
resonance can be a flat=out murder machine, but the skill cap required to use it well will forever keep it in the low-tier category. talent is top shelf for min/maxxers.
I always play direct current with Torvald, it's not just what I'm used to it's the most useful for myself and my team. Flying targets? Got it, they're outta the air. Someone Trying to escape after a failed flank? No problem, they aren't escaping.
