If you didn’t say you were in the US of A, the whole jollibee vibe where you are, could’ve been mistaken as a jollibee branch in the PH! the same vibe here in the PH! 😂
I get why the chicken sandwiches are better in the US than in the Philippines. It's a bigger thing over there, so it's taken seriously... but in the Philippines, people prefer rice meals over sandwiches.
i dunno if i already told this story before but an Indonesian friend was staying in a hotel for a conference and when i brought him to Jollibee and he had the Chickenjoy meal, he said "Finally, proper rice!" he didn't like the hotel rice because the grains were separate and didn't stick together!
@@AngkatanNamwaran well not me, I like dry plain rice, but I always miss a pandan flavor rice, because my mom will always cook rice in "kaldero" (before the rice cooker era) with pandan, that's why I don't like the rice of Jollibee.
As a Filipino citizen living in the U.S., I missed the Jollibee in the Philippines because the flavor to me is quite different plus there is a chicken wing option in PH!! 💖💖
Nice interesting vlog where I am now motivated to check out my local Jollibee in London, as well as seeing exclusives just for the UK. With this vlog, the price difference was really shocking. BTW, but not having fries in a fast food outlet is pretty bad. I just can't imagine going to Burger King or McDonalds and them being sold out. But then again, I saw a vlog from someone ages ago wanting coffee at Starbucks somewhere in the Philippines and there was no coffee available but the place was still open for business...
I miss Jollibee so much. It's been so long I haven't eaten Chicken Joy. The last time when I was in my hometown Cagayan de Oro. Watching from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
When you returned to the US, did you try converting the prices from dollars to pesos and feel that living in the US is much more expensive compared to the Philippines? By the way, nice comparison between Jollibee in the US and Jollibee in the Philippines.
If I am not mistaken, Jollibee stores outside malls in pinas are franchise ones and they tend to be worse than the ones in malls, which I think are Jollibee owned. For instance, the one in Megamall is really good, especially the spicy chicken, which is spiced all inside the meat, rather than just powdered on the skin. And yeah, the portions are bigger in North America.
Your opinion doesn't represent everyone. It's fine; of course not everyone will like anything, no matter how good it is. Not everyone will hate it either, even if it's that bad.
The prices are insane, bui the serving portions are way bigger in the US.
8:41 Bacon & Cheese Chicken sandwich looks amazing! 😱
It's not just the food but the experience Biscuit Bois!
It's also about the size of the Bee's junk in its trunk.
I am an American retired in Cebu and a big fan of Jollibee. For breakfast, try the pancake sandwich with bacon egg and cheese. It is so delicious.

Yeah, it's a matter of preference... Asians tend to prefer sticky moist rice.
