Bill Burr said it best when he said that if a comic is "undeniable" then they won't need to look for reasons why their comedy routine doesn't work. Joan Rivers was "undeniable" in a time when women were treated far less equally, and she never needed to use her gender as an excuse for why she didn't do well.
Or use her overt sexuallity to get easy laughs and overly sexualise herself for clicks and using unoriginal premises without depth or thought for obvious laughs...

She has had so much work done on her face when she is yelling, or making exaggerated facial expressions, her face literally doesn't change. It is horrifying.
As a woman, I have to say: Tim Dillon made a fantastic point that you can’t blame men when there’s tons of women who aren’t watching your podcast. You have to point a finger back at yourself. It’s an important point and criticism to bring up. I’m a woman who wouldn’t be caught dead listening to her podcast or anything similar. When shits pandered specifically to women- even/especially when it’s by women- it tends to put women in a box. They ALWAYS talk about the same couple topics: guys, sex, vaginas, toxic relationships, periods, etc. Even though some of that is relatable to me, not all of it is. And even if it was, I just don’t want to hear about that shit all the time. It’s rarely funny to me. It’s all of the most unpleasant experiences we have to go through being brought up constantly. it’s like bringing up work on the weekend. And the girl boss shit? So fucking unrelatable. Why does every podcast or show pandering to women have to be like “YASSSS BITCH” lmao I almost feel talked down to.
Even tired old subjects like sex, periods and shoes are funny when they're funny. One could easily play off the expectancy of staleness (oh no, another woman talking about her vag) and blow people away with something actually funny or at least well crafted. The element of surprise can work as a great catalyst. Whether she's pandering to female audiences or trying to win male audiences over, it's all bad. What is holding back female stand up comedians is that females generally respond badly to rejection. You can so often feel this desperate need to be loved while comedy is about giving at the expense of oneself, not about self validation. I want my comedians to not give a f about being liked.
Women are incapable of taking accountability so men will ALWAYS be the blame regardless of the subject. Same with wnba, all these women and none of them watch
Most females don't have the personality to talk about anything else. I asked a chick if she heard of the Phantom time hypothesis and she said she didn't play video games 😐😐😑😐😐
Lol. That's Joe's fault. He told them all, " fuckin do a podcast, I'm killin it". Just look at "thick boi" lmao.. btw, that has to be the shittiest name ever followed by his show!! But look at the personality it came from. A bit narcissistic I'd say. Now we have a podcast for every subject and 95% of them are mediocre at best. Thanks Joe! On the other hand, it's a platform that anyone can use and has given alot of people an income they didn't have.
I listen to most YMH studios stuff and a few others but I don't listen to any of their specials. Well except for Shaubs that was a special kind of train wreck.
I think she's lost it. I picked up on that also. Constantly contradicting herself. What a life, having everything given to you, never having to worry about making ends meet. And yet still here she is finding things to complain about. Truly insufferable.
If she was really twice as funny as every other guy shed be the top comedian but shes not. No guy is sexist enough to not appreciate a funny female. If youre funny youre funny. Laughter is involuntary
Whitney is her own downfall. She tells jokes for unintelligent men disguised as jokes for women, and we're just not falling for it anymore. And on top of that, forced vulgarity is one of the cringiest things ever.
Yeah same here. One of the only GOOD female.comedians I've seen in awhile to have a Netflix special (I think she has two now) is Taylor Tomlinson. She's ACTUALLY funny because she's got good joke structure but also she's not talking about herself and her pussy the whole time. She talks about funny shit that is sometimes a little shocking but it's mostly relatable. And she's likable lol. She comes on a little strong/try hard sometimes but I think Taylor is awesome. Whitney and Amy and a lot of the others are just gross and raunchy and idk why people like that shit. It's nasty. Like I don't wanna hear about their sexual escapades yeknow. Blegh lol.
Whitney Cummings is a type of person that enjoys learning about the human brain *on a science channel level.* But then she talks to you like she has a PhD in neuro biology.

I was at Gothem comedy club like 10 years ago and Whitney was trying out some new stuff with a bunch of other comics and at the end she had a Q&A and a woman in her 20’s stood up and said… your show Whitney… just why? And she freaked out and the audience booed but I was like… she’s right!
If a female is making sex jokes, then she's sexualizing herself. Which is vastly different from sexualizing a woman against their will. This is like the most obvious apples to oranges comparison.
I don't even like her comedy but women can joke about their own bodies if they want, doesn't mean you get to sexualize us lol. Weird connection there bro.
A lot of female comedians seem to emulate the Dane Cook style of just being loud and making faces, plus making gross sex and body fluids jokes. It's the kind of comedy that's funny when your in 3rd grade.
You nailed it. If she leaned into the whole single cat lady with a triple digit body count, incredibly offended by JD Vance. "Cum-dumpster fire comedy special" I might laugh my ass off.
When Tim said Hollywood is dying I completely agree. There is almost nothing original, nothing with truly edgey comedy that pushes the envelope and nothing creative coming out of Hollywood. It’s all reboots, remakes and water down political messaging. I watch RUclips, Twitch, listen to podcasts everyday and I haven’t been to the movies in years. I haven’t even seen a movie come out in the last few years that was good enough and made me interested in enough to go and seek it out. Hollywood used to laugh at RUclips creators and internet stars, now these platforms rival them in viewers. Great video, I will be subbing.

I love Joe, been listening to his podcast almost since the beginning, but I have noticed he has a bad case of not seeing people he cares about the way that they are, he sees them the way he wants. It’s a flaw that a huge percentage of us have.
He sees them as they really are - just like him. Rogan, and his roster of sycophant/hacks, have never matured out of fart jokes, boobies, pranks, UFO’s are real, heavy drinking hijinks - the stuff that was funny when we were 14 yrs old. There’s a huge target market of grown men who still think and act like that.
No, Joe likes them so he's not crapping on their reputation because he knows that's all a comedian has. He doesn't have to crap on everyone or be brutally honest. If joe crapped on all his friends nobody would like him and he'd have no friends at all.

Many people don't listen to Whitney because she isn't funny, NOT because she is a W. She gets MUCH more publicity because she is an attractive comedian, NOT because she is a funny comedian. Consider Joan Rivers, who I believe is the funniest female comedian of all-time. She was famous because she was funny, and she didn't need to shame people into believing otherwise.
Dude Joe Rogan stating that Whitney is the smartest funniest person he knows, is the equivalent to asking a golfer what his favorite classical music is and he says Slipknot 😂

"If you are on a show, you can blame other people" Wow she is only comfortable and feels successful when she can blame other people for failures. What a great person.
She really did convict herself in that moment. Successful people don't concern themselves with "blame", because no one blames you for shit that works. She basically said that she's been a consistent failure in Hollywood with no repercussions, or a team to set the blame on.
Her comedy is much closer to “ouch, my balls” from Idiocracy than it is to the actual comedic greats. Once this country makes its final descent into full blown idiocracy, she will do very well.

Women are masters of being condescending. Couldn’t imagine being an audience to that sort of shit
Thank sis💙for bringing in a bit of #CommonSense into this mess!👏She´s like the #female BrandonSchwaub💩
Most females don't have the personality to talk about anything else. I asked a chick if she heard of the Phantom time hypothesis and she said she didn't play video games 😐😐😑😐😐
I like long form convos, but podcasts have opened the door for comedians to stroke each other’s egos. And every single one of them has a podcast
Lol. That's Joe's fault. He told them all, " fuckin do a podcast, I'm killin it". Just look at "thick boi" lmao.. btw, that has to be the shittiest name ever followed by his show!! I honestly thought YOU pasted those clip’s together in the beginning! That was the actual trailer?!! No way!!! Joe owes the world an apology for all the “comics” he’s unleashed on us over the years.
Bobby Lee is the ONLY podcast comedian who doesn’t have a single special, doesn’t even consider himself a “great comedian” which is crazy cause he’s by FAR the funniest of them all. Both in podcasting and in stand up.
The only podcast comedian in the "it" group
Bobby Lee doesn't call himself a great comedian. Because he knows he isn't one.. the guy isn't funny. Brandon Schaub is funnier then Bobby. And he sucks
Bill Burr has a podcast, he’s funnier than Bobby
@@verycoolguy5947 Very true. Bill Burr is a legend!!
@@verycoolguy5947 What's his podcast called?
She’s got that Michael Jackson nose, and taking comedy advise from Joe Rogan is literally a joke in itself.
Her special was way funnier than putting my dog down when i was 11 tbh
Doesnt sound like it is
Now that's funny
Her agent / manager is making miracles happen for her lol.
Was that seriously her Netflix special?? Oh my lord that is terrible. It literally felt like it was satire, like it was a sketch making fun of cringey female standup trailers. So craxy
She straight stole Dee Reynold's bits. It's Always Sunny strikes again!
She messed up when she went Hollywood woke. It rips right out of her. I think the world has been battered enough with that shit so most of us tune out when we are bombarded with it again and again.
This woke criticism rings hollow for most of these podcasts comedians.. most of them are pretty tight wing.. e.g. Rogan, Schaub, Delia
The actual problem with these people is they just aren't that talented but have good PR.
I mean look at most British comedians.. they are pretty woke as per American standards but they are still funny af e.g. Sarah Milican, Dara O'Braian, Jimmy karr
@@pm6127 major cap (except Jimmy Carr).
women PHISICALLY CANNOT BE FUNNY.
Thank you for some honesty. Sometimes you play safe/objective but this video shows the real comedy enforcement.
Agree. Don’t pander. Speak your mind.
Thats what people are looking for.
Tim and the hard “OK” when she said she has to work twice as hard because she’s a woman was classic me. I would have said it exactly the same way. Love that dude
Bro I heard her say that and I’m pretty sure 90% of us rolled our eyes and said “ok”
Omg bro that's so you. Talk more about how things you see on the screen are so you
The truth is she has to work twice as hard because women aren't funny
@@Chadhogan111he is lying bro! That's actually something I would say. But He has been stalking me forever and copies everything I do and say!
Honestly I'm surprised he didn't shit all over that statement when clearly she did nothing and still got jobs as writer etc
Just came here from one of Louis C.K.'s monologues from SNL. The difference between C.K. and these clowns is mind-boggling. It's insane to me that you americans call these people like Whitney Cummings, Tom Segura and Bert Kreis...whatever comedians and Netflix gives them specials, while not giving Bobby Lee any, which is also way funnier than these people.
Every comedy podcasts rags on the comedians you listed. Bobby had repeatedly publicly stated that he does not want to do a special. You sound kind of retarded.
Louis is a real comedian. These are podcasters doing terrible stand up comedy.
When Covid started, I watched a few of her podcasts...it was literally watching someone sink into insanity.
She started dying her hair different colors and living with that guy guy and going crazy and crazier.
It's clear she can't take even the mildest criticism
Called being a talentless COMMIE C#NT
Yeah and she told her current boyfriend that he'll never be as important as her Ex.
How do you think that made her boyfriend feel?
I'd probably break up with a woman if she felt the need to say BS like that.
She is a Modern Woman, that’s what they do 🤷🏻♂️
I domt think you've ever seen somebody go crazy if you think its dying their hair and moving in with somebody.
The one with amanda knox was insane, just an unhinged narcissist
