    I love how the eggs are measured in grams rather than in the number of eggs used especially since eggs come in different sizes!

    I made this today and it was superb. It was light and delicious, and did indeed roll without any cracks. It had no eggy smell, as someone else had claimed. This is definitely a keeper!

    I'm so, so happy when I find recipes that don't need baking soda! Because, I don't know why, but no matter what, whenever I use baking soda in a baking dish it always gives it a really salty/chemical flavour.

    Great recipe. I make it half the recipe ingredient provided on web page. The cake came out spongy and slightly colored but flat like 1-2 cm. It is because I used all purpose flour instead of cake flour? When it comes to roll the cake upon itself, no breaking, just perfect! Best sponge cake recipe! Thank you fpr sharing.

    Which should I do I've heard two ways of rolling the cake. 1. let it cool completely or 2. cool for a little bit then roll, cool completely still rolled, and then unroll to fill (this is my first time making a roll cake and i'd like it to come out good)

    Hi, can you please advise how to scale receipt according to pan size? is it the % of the square area of the pan? I want to make the smaller size as per your video but the recipe is for the bigger 13" hence not sure what is the correct weight.

      yes you can, for every 1 cup of cake flour, you can use 3/4 cup all purpose flour and 2 Tablespoons of cornstarch. as a substitute

      I've been using a 33cm x 24cm pan, I think it's actually designed for swiss rolls. Anyway KT's swiss roll recipes always makes the exact amount (no more no less)...it's almost scary how precise it is.
