I made this today and it was superb. It was light and delicious, and did indeed roll without any cracks. It had no eggy smell, as someone else had claimed. This is definitely a keeper!
I'm so, so happy when I find recipes that don't need baking soda! Because, I don't know why, but no matter what, whenever I use baking soda in a baking dish it always gives it a really salty/chemical flavour.

Great recipe. I make it half the recipe ingredient provided on web page. The cake came out spongy and slightly colored but flat like 1-2 cm. It is because I used all purpose flour instead of cake flour? When it comes to roll the cake upon itself, no breaking, just perfect! Best sponge cake recipe! Thank you fpr sharing.

I've been using a 33cm x 24cm pan, I think it's actually designed for swiss rolls. Anyway KT's swiss roll recipes always makes the exact amount (no more no less)...it's almost scary how precise it is.

I love how the eggs are measured in grams rather than in the number of eggs used especially since eggs come in different sizes!
