Fire Drill at the Brigham Young University (BYU) Ernest L. Wilkinson Center (WSC) (the WILK)

The strobes in half the building don’t work. It’s been an issue for a long time but apparently they haven’t bothered fixing it. 🤷🏻‍♂️
This building is required to have quarterly fire drills, but as the largest and busiest building on campus, they always get scheduled for Sunday afternoons when all the businesses are closed and only a handful of people are using the building for church meetings. In other words, I knew this was a fire drill and would not have spent four minutes walking out of the building otherwise.

Awesome seeing those digital LED Dual Lite Excalibur exit signs still in use! Although they do look relatively dim (no surprise as they’re 25+ years old). Lack of properly lit exit signs and no strobes will definitely not sit right with a fire marshal. Surprised no inspection has been done.

The strobe problem is due to a failed NAC but at least all the speakers work thanks to the audio not being on a NAC and instead on a control module

Looks like a NAC failed and that's why half of the strobes don't work and did you report this issue to someone?
