Thank you Japan for hosting the Olympic games during a worldwide pandemic. True to the Tokyo Olympic motto "United by emotion",💞 The fact that the challenges both organisers and attending athletes/support staff have to overcome to make this Olympic happen makes this is by far one of the most heartwarming and special Olympics in recent years. 👍👏😃Image if fans were allowed there to cheer on their country, the atmosphere at some of the events would have been electrifying.🎉 This Olympics brought the world together and gave us numerous memorable and touching moments. Congratulations to all the medalist, especially the young Olympians and small countries winning gold medals for the first time in different events. 👏👑👍Every athlete should feel proud to have represented their country under these strict circumstances! 👍👏✌

Sorta. He´s an amazing player, that is for certain, and if he should quit his career now, I know he would be satisfied, but he has only beaten Kento Momota twice (I think) and Lin Dan is THE GOAT. No doubt in my mind about that. So while Viktor is a great, great player, who will go down in the history books as one of the greatest, he needs to earn more titles and medals before he will truly be the greatest badminton player.

The Olympics and Paralympics are still officially called Tokyo2020... Don't really understand the reason though.

Contracts have to be rewritten, advertising needs to be redone, tickets and programs need to be reprinted and merchandise needs to be changed.
In the most challenging Olympics ever and with the budget severely overshot, the last thing the organizers (and the world) need is to spend even more money and generate huge amounts of waste just because a few people are upset over a number.
