Awesome Anna! I loved the arrangement, and that washboard percussion was a great idea, particularly using the paintbrush. It sounded great! I loved the combination of the uke, bass and washboard, and particularly your lovely voice. Great job!
Nice job on the song. I love Buddy. He would've been bigger than Elvis had he lived. I've been to the crash site in Iowa where he died. Weird thing was as soon as we got in the car after hiking the field to the small memorial that is there, I turned on the radio and "The day the music died" was playing.....
@ccochrc I'm struggling to remember, but I think the original is in G. I am in C, using C G C G7 C for the verses and Am C D7 G7 for the choruses. You can find lots of chord sheets if you Google it. Good luck :)
@garymichaelshannon Thank you for the nice comment. I agree, John Keonepax's channel is just brilliant. The man is a genius. Head on over to Ukulele Underground if you haven't already - there's lots of uke help on there :)
What a superb arrangement and wonderfully relaxed vocals.

There isn't one really, I do it by ear.
I think it's triplets of down-up-down, down-up-down, down-up-down etc.
Hope this helps :)
Thank you very much, yes it's me playing everything :)
Excellent! :-) X
Thank you very much :)
Thank you Deach :)
My top tip is to sacrifice a brand new paintbrush. I used an old manky one and got paint flakes all over the floor...
Thanks for the kind comment :)
