Thanks for watching and kind words. Great choice and such an underrated tank. IMO DD need to promote better as this tank is a step Up from a Red Sea tank
Got to agree. If I was buying another off the shelf reef aquarium i would go for the DD 900 or 1200 or thr Cade Frag, but the price difference is probably not worth it. DD, incredible value tanks for a premium setup. 🙌 Great video 👍
Thanks jay. I agree the Cade tanks look good but a 3 foot tank is almost double the DD 900. Would like to see one to see if double the money is worth it 👍🏻
Agree with you it’s a quality set up. DD cabinets get a lot of praise but the tank and sump are well made as well. Love my DD1200 which I purchased second hand from my LFS as it was originally their display. I’d certainly purchase another when the time comes.
Thanks for watching. I agree it is well built from top to bottom and has some nice touches to it like the independent adjustable feet, lip at front of sump to stop water spills onto floor and the way you can thread cables through a hole in back of display so no wires hanging down 👌🏻
Great video my dd reef pro 900 coming this week so nice to see the good review just hope my plugs will be OK in the sump area as got no where else to run them
I have seen many reefers have sockets above their sump without issue. I just would not do it as I know I am going to splash water or drop a plug into the sump 😡
Looks a great tank, my cabinet does not have a dry area. I dont have room at the side for another cabinet. Where is your heater am i being blind? I am still trying to work out the best place for mine, currently i have both the thermostat and the heater beside my return pump
Thanks for watching. The heater is horizontal to the right of the clarisea. I would move the heater as if the atu runs dry then the heater could be exposed to air and cause a problem. I think my temp probe is in the display
Ecotech s2. The smallest of the vectra pumps. If I go too low then the clarisea does not work properly and bleeps after 8 hours of not turning and if I go too high with flow then it pushes through the sides of the clarisea. It is a fine balance but once dialed in works a treat
Great video Paul, the 900 is definetly my next tank

How much space do you have between the tank and the wall?
I would say about 4 inches or 10 cm’s. Thanks for watching
What size return pump are you using .
