The onboard art auctions are also a huge waste of time. They offer free art for attending and it ends up a silly print of something you would never buy or like.
Our first ever cruise was a "free" one.
Which cost us about $500.
It wasn't a complete scam -- we did actually travel to The Bahamas on a ship -- but it was a terrible, tiny ship with no amenities.
Our next trip was booked with Carnival, with an actual agent, and it was cheaper than the "free" cruise.

Yup the bracelet scam so true. I had it happen to me I was just walking through and they literally grabbed my wrist and put it on and ask for a donation. They showed me a pic of their family as well. I said 1 I never asked for a bracelet and 2 if you touch me again you aren’t going to like what happens and 3 here is your bracelet back. 😂

Hey Griff and Alyssa and baby G one scam is if someone text you saying things like My brother in law gave me a bottle of wine would you like to come over for dinner. Ever time you say Yes or sure they can run with that yes and scan you with that word. A girlfriend of mine it happened to her they got money from her account be very careful thank you for the heads up on this. Good to see you again hi Alyssa and baby G
