Griff! I think you did an AWESOME job on this video! You and Alyssa were easy to understand...entertaining, appropriately animated, clear & concise! And Noah melts my heart!
We love RC, but I don’t cruise to “party” and would rather not deal with people over consuming alcohol. We enjoy the food, entertainment and activities on and off the ship. By the way, my wife and I enjoy sitting down in the evening and catching up with your travels.
They shouldn’t give you crap. You have a young toddler there shouldn’t be any dirt on the balcony. That should be all cleaned off before you enter the first day on your cruise. I’m not saying that to clean it every day but at least on your first day it should be cleaned completely. Thank you for sharing Griff and Alyssa. Super cute Noa with the faces.❤
Bummer about your group cruise! We booked our first Presidents Cruise on the Utopia thru our personal TA!!! Will deff look for you all on board!!! Love watching little Noah and you two also!!! 🥰
Love your vlogs. This one reinforces that I am too old for these large party ships but I love watching you folks enjoy it and of course Noa is worth the watch for sure.
No Utopia for me. When I go on a cruise, it's normally to get away and have a nice, calm cruise. Yes, I know there are places on board to "get away" from everything but the overall vibe of the ship is one that I'm not interested in.
Your video was excellant - well shot, edited and presented. You perfecty conveyed the spirit of the cruise - That said .... I had thought about doing a big ship, but not being the party time the video really convinced me to stay with the small ships my wife and I much prefer. I'm sure it's a perfect cruise for the party folks - we just would rather quietly relax and hit a few shore tours to places we haven't been before. Keep up the good work -
I was on the same cruise as you guys. The sail away was not my vibe. We were on deck 5 aft and watched sail away from there. Very relaxing. The windjammer was so packed and we were going to eat there on the last night, but the food looked awful. We ended up in the main dining room.3 of the shows we went to were all packed. Luckily we had reservations for them. Highly suggest reservations, especially for the aqua show.
The sail away was WILD. Ricky the CD is the perfect fit for this "Party Vibe". We really enjoyed it. The entire experience was awesome. Just got off on Sep 6th - - - - we are going back on the 30th for another 4-night party.
I love the sail or fail series. It is so helpful. We usually cruise NCL . I hope you do some sail or fails with that cruise line. Y’all are an amazing family. The perfect balance of family and information. Keep doing what y’all do. Safe travels.
We just got off this ship. We never had a problem we loved it. We are looking forward to going back again. We were with our grandchildren, and we never felt uncomfortable.
Aw man, wish we would have seen this video before our cruise on Icon this past week, we would have booked the President cruise for next year but we booked Icon again for next year in Sept
Hey guys. Ooooo. The Utopia. Quick embarkation but figuring you guys are up there in status with expedited boarding? A peanut butter pina colada is different. The cabin and balcony looks spacious. Nice bathroom. Sailaway looks wild 😂. Peanut butter rice crispy treat is different. Noa’s enjoying the music before the show. Thanks for sharing 🤗
Personally, I think that price is pretty reasonable but it’s a subjective thing. After all, there are people who pay at least ten times that for the huge suites on RC
We just got off on Friday and even the weekday was a little risque. As my wife said... I felt like I just walked through a C#$%val cruise pool deck. But loved some of the changes they did on this ship. Staff is absolutely amazing, food ehhhh, Had a central park cabin, loved the mornings, afternoon and evenings were a little loud from the pools above. BTW be careful of deck 12 under kid zone, it is loud! Mason Jar a cool vide!
Haven't been on one of the super mega ships yet, and side note (I do think that's pricey for a short cruise) but understand there's a lot to on board. I just don't know if I want to deal with all the people😒. The ONLY reason I want to try this ship is to see my favorite Cruise ship blogger, Jordan Bauth, (and we live in Florida so it's more doable) and see the ice show while she's on it! 2nd reason would be to try one of the mega ships to form my own opinion of how it really is and if we'd like.. and try the food/entertainment.. 3rd is it's s not Carnival, the only brand we've sailed with so far and I'm kinda over them! But those prices though 😩🤷🏼
I was on the Utopia about a month ago. Loved it. I am not a party person exactly but I like the idea that I can go to the loud party areas or I can go to another part of the ship where it is quiet! I happened to be by the pool when they were doing the "sexiest man" contest, watched for a few minutes, had a few laughs and moved on. The crowd was having a blast. I found the "All In" show to be confusing. I still can't decide if I liked it or not. The performers were fabulous, the special effects were fabulous (including the drones) but it didn't all come together. The H2O show was spectacular and the Ice Show was also very good. But again, the folks that put together some of the shows seemed to be trying too hard to be innovative, and in my mind it didn't exactly work. Nevertheless, I had a fabulous time and am hoping to go on Utopia again, maybe on your group cruise!! I was on the five day as opposed to the weekend cruise and I heard the weekends were more "party" oriented, which makes sense. I am a recent subscriber and am enjoying your channel. And it can't be said enough how gorgeous and precious your daughter is!
I love yalls videos! I need all the tips on traveling with a toddler! We’re going to have a 3YO and 22 Month old on the Carnival Vista in Dec 2025 and I want to be prepared! ❤
I have a question does Baby Noah get her own card or is she on both of your cards. I was told my three year old would have their own door card as a way to have a count of who is on or off the ship.
We wanted a short cruise for our 21st anniversary. We won’t stay away from the kids for longer than 5 days. Utopia was 3 hours closer to us than Allure and they both depart on November 4th. We opted to drive to Miami and sail on the older Allure. Too many people are saying there is too much wild partying on Utopia. I’m not paying a premium price to feel like I’m at a frat house!
Based on what you showcased regarding the shows I would likely not be too excited. The performers on Carnival's main center stage shows are trained in Miami for multiple months and then have a week onboard to get fully adapted to ship - all stories are included. You can actually follow Carnival's shows and plots.
Hi guys, I love your videos. I have a question. I'm a newer subscriber, so I apologize in advance if you've already gone over this in a previous video! Here are my (related) questions: What has been your process regarding sailing with Noah (sp)? (i.e., Did you, or even are there, passports for little ones)? If not, will you have to get her one by a certain age? If she has one, how was the process like while they were taking her photo, etc. (since I think adults have to take such straight-faced passport pics, and I'm thinking it would be hard for a child to sit through). Did they have to do her fingerprints, etc.? Was it a quick process to receive her docs? I'm asking because I've never sailed but will be sailing soon. I know the process for myself. However, I have several grandchildren, and some are very young, but I would like to surprise my family with a cruise in a couple of years, but some will be under 5 yrs old by then (and I've only seen info for school-aged kids) so I may not be able to surprise them like i want if passports are needed vs birth certificates. Any tips about traveling with kids under school-aged would be very helpful. She's such a sweetie!! Continue to cherish her, and safe travels!!😊😊
In Miami in Feb there is usually a marathon race near the cruise port, so you have to account for things like that also, the price of hotels are usually higher at that time.
I'm a nervous nelly. Please don't let Noa lean on ANYTHING. When she was on that balcony & went over to that glass- oh weee!! I also remember when that grandfather thought there was glass on the ship & let that baby lean on it & she fell overboard. Just be careful
@@diane5454 Accidents happen. And I'm not saying they would let anything happen to the baby. Just like the grandfather on RC. I doubt he wanted anything to happen to his grandchild but accidents to happen. Geesh!!
We’re thinking about trying a RC cruise in the near future and I’m wondering if boarding is always that easy? Do you guys have priority boarding? What is the earliest time you can board? Just a note: not sure if there’s supposed to be link when you refer to your other videos but they are not there.
@@GriffandAlyssa enjoy that time with your precious little one. It goes by so quick my son will be 25 and my daughters a junior in college and it seems like just yesterday. We were doing Disney cruises.

Just love watching not only your cruise vlogs but especially your love and devotion to your sweet daughter. You do a great job of balancing.
I actually had a pretty good time on the ship. I'm not 20 anymore but I had a great time. I missed all in but overall for me, It was great.

While I appreciate the hard work and eloquence of you two, I have to be brutally honest and tell you that the cute little girl stole the show.

How do you even enjoy yourselves with a child that young in tow?
Some people actually enjoy spending time with their family and their kids. This is a pretty crappy comment.
@@christyler578 No I’m just concerned for the child. Maybe if the child is about 8 or so would be fine on a crowded party cruise.
