My ranking from best to worst: AM Favourite Worst Nightmare Suck it and See Whatever people say The Car Humbug TBHC I’ve bumped The Car up a few places as I’ve been listening to it more and more recently. I think it’s a grower!
1. Humbug S-tier album, not a single bad song. 2. Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino Another amazing album with a very deep and interesting story. 3. Suck it and see At first I didn't like it but I've come to realize how good of an album it is. 4. Favorite worst nightmare Brings back very good memories I love this one. 5. Whatever people say I am, That's what I'm not Amazing debut with some sick riffs. Also very memorable. 6. The Car It's a bit weird listening to it the first time but it grows on you. 7. AM I've come to hate this album because of how annoying people can get about it. I genuinely love some of the songs but some of it was kinda weak in my opinion.

My ranking from best to worst: 1- WPSIATWIN (I know all the song lyrics and I have it on vinyl my favorite from that album would have to be Mardy Bum or a certain romance) 2- AM (The first album I listened to, all of the songs I also know the lyrics to (except for mad sounds and fireside). do I wanna know is so good) 3- Humbug (not rly my favorite songs in the album but it has my top two songs- crying lightning and cornerstone. The Jeweler's hand is also rly good) 4- The Car (Body paint is an amazing song and crafted so well (the solo!!!) and hello you, I ain't quite where I think I am and there better be a mirror ball is amazing. If you don't like the car I strongly believe you will if you listen to it a good amount of times. 5- Favorite Worst Nightmare (Really good, I don't really like the second half of the album as much, only 505, but I have it on vinyl) 6- Suck it and See (definitely like piledriver and suck it and see, but the rest I don't really listen to) 7- Tranquility Base (only appreciate Star Treatment, I think I just haven't listened to it enough, I hope I will like it more in the future!) PS: sorry for this long list!

I think the same about TBHC so keep giving it more listens - Star Treatment is great but there are some other gems on there. My favs are 4/5, Ultracheese and OPP

Great list and very well explained and a very challenging task to create this list, your child comparison was quite accurate. Maybe i would swap FWN with Humbug, but i agree nearly completly with you. A tier list with their B-sides could also be interesting, because there is no other band in with such an interesting and high quality b-side catalogue in my opinion

The only thing i would change about this list is swap tranquility base with the car. I just don’t really like the sound of tranquility base and i think the car did it much better, also it has Sculptures of anything goes which is one of my favorite Arctic Monkeys songs ever.

Your review of The Car helped me summarize my views of their two latest albums. TBH+C isn't really a rock album, but it's still a band's album. The sound of The Car doesn't feel capture the live chemistry the band has.
I've heard some Arctic Monkeys songs but I haven't heard their discography yet. should i start chronologically or should i start by listening a specific album?
Each album is so different that I would listen chronologically tbh - that way you can also hear their evolution and how their sound changed over time which is pretty incredible sound wise!

It’s such a tough task to rank there albums IMO, they are such a unique band and Alex is one of the best all time singers/ lyricists but it’s nice that they have so many sounds that they can cater to many different peoples tastes. Anyway my list is: 1. Whatever People Say… - Raw, powerful, energetic and iconic 2. AM - superb, complete and perfect production 3. Humbug - atmospheric, incredible vocals, just love the whole vibe 4. TBH&C - massively underrated, musically the most accomplished of all the albums 5. FWN - fantastic sound and energy, imo some weaker tracks in the second half though 505 is probably there best song overall 6. SI&S - love the live sound and nostalgia of this album just slightly weaker than the above albums 7. The Car - wonderful album but as mentioned in the video just lacks the edge and hooks in a lot of the songs, feels more like TLSP

FWN probably an unpopular opinion my number 3, but the car it just makes perfect sense for me, in my head it brings my love for music the cinematography that i also love, and i see the whole story love the way you analyze everything sanjay, thank you for the videos

Honestly, it's pretty close between the two. I think 4oo5 is a great tune, but that's where it ends on TBHC for me. I also think a lot of the arguments for TBHC is that it has aged well, which The Car hasn't had a chance to do yet. I think Mirrorball and Body Paint are good tunes too, so I'm putting it above marginally.
