My questions are: 1) Could the masculine sentence also be written "Ze hasefer schel David" (זה הספר של דוד), exactly as the feminine sentence is constructed, and still mean the same? 2) Could the feminine sentence also be written "Zohi matana schel Sara" (זהי מתנה של שרה), close to how the masculine sentence is constructed, and still mean the same? That's why it says: Zeh hu sefer shel David. זהו ספרו של דוד. And if you start by saying Sefer zeh..., you are expressing " This book is the book of David. In this case, you don't use shel but you say it like this: Sefer zeh hu sefer David. This book is the book of David. ספר זה הוא ספר דוד.

Hi. Demonstrative pronouns are usually written after a noun. For example: Ha'bayit ha'zeh gadol. Literally, it's saying "The house" "the this" is big. הבית הזה גדול. So the noun "house" is followed by the demonstrative pronoun "ha zeh". In English, we say "This house is big" ( Where the demonstrative noun "this" is followed by the noun "house". In Hebrew, we say "Ha bayit ha'zeh gadol". That is saying "The house this is big."

Hi. Hu means "he", referring to a masculine subject. Zeh means "this" if you talk about a male subject. However, "Zo" means "this" if talking about a feminine subject. Note that sefer is a masculine subject, so we say zeh to refer to it. Matana is a feminine subject so we use "Zo". I probably should not … But it is tooo tempting… When certain elements would like to be called by the pronouns of their choice… eg זה, זאת, זו, זו They are using demonstrative pronouns… To demonstrate their standpoint… So they would prefer to be called: it/this/this one ☝️ And I am not going to be careful! I am direct and to the point! I have had my life totally wrapped inside out, people judging me by looking at my RUclips account, hacking my iPhone, manipulating Siri yada, Even if I state that I am not gay, I have been harassed by gay men. I used to be understanding all though not gay… I can’t understand why I have to accept old overweighted ugly women hitting on me, just because I was polite when shopping food at the supermarket. Don’t tell me I can’t have a bit fun too! And it is ridiculous, if you want to be called it/this/this one and make the whole world know how homophobe they are. Canceling culture and woke! That is ridiculous! Full stop!
Super valuable lesson, thank you very much. With that being said at 12:30, 14:23 you pronounce אלה with a hard chet 'ח' sound at the end instead of hei 'ה' sound which changes the meaning of the word from "these" (אֶלֶה) to I will go (אֶלֶךְ) . Love the material and your soft calming voice. 😇
