I love it when people decide to get to know the members’ personalities more, because not only are the members amazing vocalists, dancers, rappers, and performers, they also are really funny, sweet, and lovely seeming people❤️and I would hate for people to miss out on that.

Sua is lowkey the funniest idol in kpop. Its like she was created in a lab to be the perfect variety show guest😂 She also has a very sweet and caring side though. Its one of my favorite things about her

I'm pretty sure the "panicked Sua noises" when she dropped the mealworm are because she's an animal lover and worried that she might have hurt it. She had a similar reaction on another show when she thought that she may have squished a silkworm pupa (like the "beondegi" that come in a can).
Watching pretty much any Dreamcatcher content outside of Music videos will leave you with a sore face from laughing and smiling. They're all really funny and when you put them together the craziness just escalates. Insomnicsy is the queen of DC RUclips. Her edits are fantastic, and she does so much work making content easily digestible for international fans.

She’s the dad of the group. - Sua is the loudest on camera but Gahyeon gives her a run for her money. She can be chill too, and she’s the mom of the group. - Everyone is this group is extremely close and flirty with each other. The fruitiness is fruity-ing constantly. Sua and Siyeon call each other soulmates and openly flirt with each other constantly, so there’s plenty of hilarious, unfiltered content with these two especially. - Siyeon’s duality is insane - she’s the ultimate beast onstage but the most aegyo baby offstage. - They are all crackheads and together they are chaotic af in the best way 😊 I remember GOT7 being like “omg they are just as chaotic as us” 😂
Sua became my ult bias because of her crazy personality😂 She’s the ball of energy in the group and isn’t afraid to just be her crazy self infront of others, which is what made me fall for her. Even though Sua is my bias I’m still ot7 because you end up falling for them ALL (seriously). All their personalities are so different but they fit so well together. They all have amazing personalities and trust me when I say that you’ll have a blast learning more about them. On stage when they’re in performing mode, they are fierce but offstage well… you’ll see that they are our adorable dorks😂

Yes new (and old) InSomnia most often confuse Sua and Siyeon but they have gotten more easy to tell apart. Sua is generally loud with a crazy laugh. Also she almost always has brown or black hair, the latest 3 cb she didn't dye it at all and I don't think she will any time soon, while Siyeon has colours mostly. Siyeon also has 3 tattoos, a softer voice and is an introvert (but she never says no if the others want to do some nonsense). Also Sua has kind of a pointy nose and generally a more sharp face while Siyeon's is really oval and gets more "extreme" over time. A few years back they looked crazy similar. The other trio is Jiu Yoohyeon and Handong, when they're blonde even their moms can't tell them apart so good luck🤣

Five of the members have been together since 2014 when they were part of Minx - JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Yoohyeon and Dami. They were disbanded and Handong and Gahyeon were added to the line-up. JiU and Siyeon have been friends for 10 years now
Its normal to confuse siyeon and sua at first and also handong jiu and yoohyeon. I got it like this: Sua is shorter and has a sharp nose, Siyeon is taller than sua and full cheeks and a rounder face shape (Also sua is mostly dark haired and siyeon often has coloured hair)
Compared to most girl groups, to me, Dreamcatcher from their start of existence in kpop industry has been honest with their personalities. Understandably, some companies usually the big ones controls their artists personalities. So i love how the company give them space to be themselves but keeping them in check as not to get over the line (but as you will know them, they go over the line often, in a good way). What you see, is actually what you get. Jiu's caring, corny jokes. Sua's laugh, mother acts and nags. Siyeon's kid like behaviour, comical, meme. Looking fwd to the rest..
The freedom to be themselves is very apparent and so nice to see! It’s so fun to watch them just be happy and enjoy their lives freely, so we are incredibly excited to keep learning about them and their unfiltered (rightfully so) selves 😝

Understandable about watching a guide - good to get a taste of the group as a whole, but the "This is" series is really a nice glimpse into their personalities.. my cheeks always hurt from watching lol. As you can tell, they are very different from their "onstage" personas. Also the girls really love each other... to the extent they each recently got $3K friendship rings (as per Jiu's request lol). I always hesitate to use the term "family" when it comes to idols, but you can really feel it with them. Can't wait for the next batch~ in terms of future content, do you plan on watching any varieties or such? Or would that be more a patreon thing?
Just both of my bias wreckers and one of my biases. SingJiBo, SuSiJi aka Unnie line. The bunny, the crow tit and the wolf. Fake Maknae and sunshine personified , mom 2 that is also very kid, and the alien wolf. Lead vocals, lead rapper, main vocals. Jiu and Siyeon have been roommates and friends for 10 years. SuA rooms with Yoohyeon. Dami has her own room, though she did share with JiU and Siyeon for a while. Gahyeon and Dong share a room. Jiu will also feed the members. I believe some of the other This Is has a segment on that.. and Insomnicy may just have a video of all the times JiU has done so- Jiu summoning members with food/feeding members.

Those are always fun,they change every year 💜 Atiny and Somnias often compare Wooyoung and Sua for how loud they are and their unique laughs 😂 It's a good idea to watch those first before the comeback and then watch the longer one,that one will give you more of their singing/dancing etc (also personalities) When i became a fan during debut,i had a hard time between Sua and Siyeon too;it happens a lot when you first start liking a group,so don't worry 💜

It's so difficult to pick on bias in Dreamcatcher, I just keep adding members to the bias list or rotate them. So far my biases as Handong, Gahyeon, and Dami.
This is... series yeeey.. my bias is Siyeon, and maybe with more time you can watch too the other previous series xD since they have 2020, 2021 and 2022 too.. each one is really good (in the first version there was a this is Dreamcatcher too), i can't wait for the your reaction to the other members, they are all so unique.
Cool! At some point in the future (whenever you feel like it), I really hope that you will both go through and react to the previous seasons of insomnicsy's 'This Is' series. The first season (2020) has eight videos because it includes a video for the group as a whole. ALL of it is great fun content even if it is older now. Those videos and the channel deserve all the views. insomnicsy is hands-down THE GREATEST dedicated fan channel for DC and if the channel content creator wanted, I am SURE they should be able to get a job as one of DC's Editors without a problem. Seriously, they have helped the group to connect with the world-wide fandom on such an awesome deep level. And, vice-versa! (and DC gets free advertising). insomnicsy could almost count as The Eighth Member, but they don't get paid at all to do this. It's purely their Labor of Love aimed for this group. The group members have been known to react to some of insomnicsy's videos for the fun of it (they checked out the edits of all of the members laughing, which is just hilarious and a great mood-lifting video no matter what ails you). It's always positive stuff on that channel, it's brilliant.
I think a lot of Insomnia are OT7 in heart but you get pulled a little to one or two members. I love all of them so much but my bias is Jiu and my bias wrecker is Handong. It took me about a year to settle on that though, every member cycled through one of those spots lmao. But last time I went to the concert, I almost couldn't take my eyes off Sua and Siyeon. I am curious where you might settle!
Literally not able to look at this video without smiling. I just love them so much and I hope you get to know them and love them cause they are the loveliest people ever. Siyeon is my bias, and I have one bias wrecker (JiU,SuA,HanDong,Yoohyeon,Dami,Gahyeon) :) Siyeon's pinching thing isn't just ears. I remember someone saying her pinching is a nervous thing that calms her. In a lot of videos you will see her sitting next to JiU and JiU will look at Siyeon, notice she isn't feeling right, she offers Siyeon her hand.
Sua and Siyeon looked more similar in the past. Siyeon has had a lot of work done, her lip fillers are probably the most notable but in general when looking at her you can tell she changed a lot. Sua meanwhile has a prominent nose and is shorter. She's also usually more talkative (and louder, as you can tell lol). You'll be fine after a little time in recognizing who is who
It took me a month to learn to tell SuA from Siyeon. Don't worry about mixing any of them up - InSomnia tend to be very accepting of the process. Now, Siyeon is my ultimate in Kpop. Perhaps someday you will choose to react to her cover of Speechless and understand why. first video related to them that I watched wasn't even the MV and I immediately chose SuA and Yoohyeon as bias line. I like their interaction in the video I watched. few days later JiU been added bcs JiU bias bombarded me with JiU pics and I felt weird why didn't I get annoyed for spam, then that's how I added JiU. basically 3 years having Kimcatcher as bias line (bcs all 3 are Kims) during Maison (2022) Gahyeon was too dangerous for me not having her in bias line. I kept rejecting bcs mostly I don't have more than half of group as bias line. but few days ago bcs of 1st set of individual teaser photos Gahyeon officially joined the bias line btw doesn't mean I dislike others, I always having bias line that usually more into my vibe and overall variables not only skills in performing.
Yes, Jiu is the oldest and because of the way Korean society works, automatically the leader. Sua is technically the same age because they were born in the same year, which is what counts for Koreans, but she doesn't have a leader temperament. Having a younger person in charge in a group is a recipe for disaster in Korea. The traditional age hierarchy is still very strong. Even though Dreamcatcher members have been together for years they still use the correct honorifics when a younger member speaks to an older member. Sua and Jiu can call each other Sua ya and Jiu ya, but a younger person should never speak that way without asking first. Yoohyeon doesn't like it but she asks first. Gahyeon is the only one who doesn't always do this, but since she's the maknae (youngest) they usually let slide.

Like sua could be a good leader under other circumstances but she was the last to join the company, and siyeon was too young and still inexperienced, Yoohyeon and dami were maknaes so imposible. Jiu was the most trained and mature so perfect leader since Minx. Honorifics depends bc sua is the most conservative about it so she want them to used it, siyeon cares but had say that being with Yoohyeon have makes more chill lmao and handong don’t care bc she is chinese so Yoohyeon and dami don’t call her unnie but seems like gahyeon just sometimes. I guess sua will keep fighting for the hierarchy bc for her is important.

Understandable about watching a guide - good to get a taste of the group as a whole, but the "This is" series is really a nice glimpse into their personalities.. my cheeks always hurt from watching lol. As you can tell, they are very different from their "onstage" personas. Also the girls really love each other... to the extent they each recently got $3K friendship rings (as per Jiu's request lol). I always hesitate to use the term "family" when it comes to idols, but you can really feel it with them.
Can't wait for the next batch~ in terms of future content, do you plan on watching any varieties or such? Or would that be more a patreon thing?
Just both of my bias wreckers and one of my biases. SingJiBo, SuSiJi aka Unnie line. The bunny, the crow tit and the wolf. Fake Maknae and sunshine personified , mom 2 that is also very kid, and the alien wolf. Lead vocals, lead rapper, main vocals. Jiu and Siyeon have been roommates and friends for 10 years. SuA rooms with Yoohyeon. Dami has her own room, though she did share with JiU and Siyeon for a while. Gahyeon and Dong share a room. Jiu will also feed the members. I believe some of the other This Is has a segment on that.. and Insomnicy may just have a video of all the times JiU has done so- Jiu summoning members with food/feeding members.

At some point in the future (whenever you feel like it), I really hope that you will both go through and react to the previous seasons of insomnicsy's 'This Is' series. The first season (2020) has eight videos because it includes a video for the group as a whole. ALL of it is great fun content even if it is older now. Those videos and the channel deserve all the views.
insomnicsy is hands-down THE GREATEST dedicated fan channel for DC and if the channel content creator wanted, I am SURE they should be able to get a job as one of DC's Editors without a problem. Seriously, they have helped the group to connect with the world-wide fandom on such an awesome deep level. And, vice-versa! (and DC gets free advertising).
insomnicsy could almost count as The Eighth Member, but they don't get paid at all to do this. It's purely their Labor of Love aimed for this group.
The group members have been known to react to some of insomnicsy's videos for the fun of it (they checked out the edits of all of the members laughing, which is just hilarious and a great mood-lifting video no matter what ails you). It's always positive stuff on that channel, it's brilliant.
I think a lot of Insomnia are OT7 in heart but you get pulled a little to one or two members. I love all of them so much but my bias is Jiu and my bias wrecker is Handong. It took me about a year to settle on that though, every member cycled through one of those spots lmao. But last time I went to the concert, I almost couldn't take my eyes off Sua and Siyeon. I am curious where you might settle!
Literally not able to look at this video without smiling. I just love them so much and I hope you get to know them and love them cause they are the loveliest people ever. I enjoy your reactions to DC very much. I hope you go all the way. You will fall in love with them for sure. Looking forward to part 2. I don't like to say I have a Bias because I love them all because they are so different and wonderful, but Siyeon is like an Alien person. She is so sensitive and artistic. Siyeon is art. The way she performs and her expressions, the feelings she conveys while singing, even talking. I just admire her so much. And Yoohyeon... the sweetest person ever, so clean and real, and again, sweet. And Handong's realness is so cool and appealing. She's so "in your face" coolness. Those are my most beloved but I love OT7 for different reasons.

Siyeon is my bias, and I have one bias wrecker (JiU,SuA,HanDong,Yoohyeon,Dami,Gahyeon) :) Siyeon's pinching thing isn't just ears. I remember someone saying her pinching is a nervous thing that calms her. In a lot of videos you will see her sitting next to JiU and JiU will look at Siyeon, notice she isn't feeling right, she offers Siyeon her hand.
Sua and Siyeon looked more similar in the past. Siyeon has had a lot of work done, her lip fillers are probably the most notable but in general when looking at her you can tell she changed a lot.
Sua meanwhile has a prominent nose and is shorter. She's also usually more talkative (and louder, as you can tell lol). You'll be fine after a little time in recognizing who is who
It took me a month to learn to tell SuA from Siyeon. Don't worry about mixing any of them up - InSomnia tend to be very accepting of the process. Now, Siyeon is my ultimate in Kpop. Perhaps someday you will choose to react to her cover of Speechless and understand why.

first video related to them that I watched wasn't even the MV and I immediately chose SuA and Yoohyeon as bias line. I like their interaction in the video I watched. few days later JiU been added bcs JiU bias bombarded me with JiU pics and I felt weird why didn't I get annoyed for spam, then that's how I added JiU.
basically 3 years having Kimcatcher as bias line (bcs all 3 are Kims) during Maison (2022) Gahyeon was too dangerous for me not having her in bias line. I kept rejecting bcs mostly I don't have more than half of group as bias line. but few days ago bcs of 1st set of individual teaser photos Gahyeon officially joined the bias line
btw doesn't mean I dislike others, I always having bias line that usually more into my vibe and overall variables not only skills in performing.

Yes, Jiu is the oldest and because of the way Korean society works, automatically the leader. Sua is technically the same age because they were born in the same year, which is what counts for Koreans, but she doesn't have a leader temperament. Having a younger person in charge in a group is a recipe for disaster in Korea. The traditional age hierarchy is still very strong. Even though Dreamcatcher members have been together for years they still use the correct honorifics when a younger member speaks to an older member. Sua and Jiu can call each other Sua ya and Jiu ya, but a younger person should never speak that way without asking first. Yoohyeon doesn't like it but she asks first. Gahyeon is the only one who doesn't always do this, but since she's the maknae (youngest) they usually let slide.
Jiu is the oldest but that doesn’t always make her automatically the leader. Many companies choose the leader by the years of training or personalities and not always end up being the oldest. Like sua could be a good leader under other circumstances but she was the last to join the company, and siyeon was too young and still inexperienced, Yoohyeon and dami were maknaes so imposible. Jiu was the most trained and mature so perfect leader since Minx. Honorifics depends bc sua is the most conservative about it so she want them to used it, siyeon cares but had say that being with Yoohyeon have makes more chill lmao and handong don’t care bc she is chinese so Yoohyeon and dami don’t call her unnie but seems like gahyeon just sometimes. I guess sua will keep fighting for the hierarchy bc for her is important.
