Course of fire is 10 rounds 200 yd slow fire standings, 10 rds rapid prone at 300 and 10 rds slow fire at 600. no sighters so know your zeroes. top twenty do this shoot-off (shoot-off added about 20 years ago). anyways participation is down there used to be over 1200 competitors. top 100 scores earn a Presidents 100 badge. There is a CMP Pistol President's 100 as well. Typical Camp Perry weather and you can see the nuke plant belching out mist. fun stuff maybe I will do again in the future (shot this match about 20 times, broke into top 70s once LOL). its unforgiving as its only 30 shots and its done on day 1 so you still have the jitters.
So cool to see the shoot off. Great to see friends not only on the line but also CMP officials, staff, and faces i recognize in the crowd. A very nice video indeed.

600 yards! That's a long way. I'm assuming it's .308 or 30-06? Does everyone use the same military ball ammo?
